I had thought carefully about the five main element magic I was about to set up, I had even compiled magic according to the table so that it was easy to analyze its advantages and disadvantages.
Dummy, one slot magic.
Effect: Creating illusory objects,
Additional description:
- Mass effect
- If touched, the object will be broken, but it will not be damaged.
- Objects cannot be moved.
- Objects can be removed if attacked using which energy,
- The object has no shadow.
- The size of the object is adjusted to the number of which is used.
- The object details are adjusted to the caster's understanding of the object you want to create
- Only can create objects that have been seen by caster.
- The effect will decrease with the higher level of target awareness, and will fail if the target awareness is too high.
Imitation, one slot magic
Effect: Imitates the appearance of other objects
Additional description:
- Mass effect
- Only imitating appearance, the actual shape of the object does not change.
- Cannot copy aura and similar effects (if any) from original objects
- Illusory objects cannot replicate functions that belong to original objects.
- Magic cannot be used if there are no original objects nearby.
- The image of an artificial object cannot change, which means the shadow will look the same as an object made for imitation.
- The effect will decrease with the higher level of target awareness, and will fail if the target awareness is too high.
Hallucinations fear, one magic slot
Effects: Bring up illusory objects in the presence of targets based on the object most feared by the target.
Additional description:
- Targeted Effect
- Illusory objects can only be seen by the target, and can't be seen by other people including caster
- The more fearful the target, the more difficult it is for him to distinguish whether the object is only an illusion or reality.
- The ability of the illusion object is also influenced by the level of fear of the target.
- Object does not give the actual effect of the original object imagined by the target, but in the imagination of the target the effect will feel real.
- The effect will decrease with the higher level of target awareness, and will fail if the target awareness is too high.
Miss Direction, one magic slot
Effect: Make the target incorrectly determine the direction
Additional description:
- Targeted effect
- The effect will work even though the target has checked objects that show direction, unless the target is running while looking at the direction object, ex: the target checks the direction on the map / compass and the result points north, but once the target reverses its view the target will still determine the direction, and will walk in a different direction from the north.
- The effect will decrease with the higher level of target awareness, and will fail if the target awareness is too high.
Sound Manipulation,
Effect: Manipulate sound so that it sounds different in other people's ears.
Additional description:
- Targeted effect
- Cannot mimic sounds that castor and targets have never heard.
- The effect will decrease with the higher level of target awareness, and will fail if the target awareness is too high.
Even though I have chosen the best, but most of the above magic only has a weak effect and has many shortcomings.
Higher awareness means that magic won't work at a higher level of magic, according to the database in my life experience those magic will not work on third or above magicians.
In addition, if seen using special magic senses or special senses inherited from race, low level illusion magic like this is often easily detected.
Not surprisingly, this is still level 1 mage magic, I just have a hard time accepting it because I compare with all the magic I have in my last life.
Fortunately most of the spells can still be upgraded in the future, so there is still plenty of room for improvement.
The problem I have to think about now is to choose which type of magic I will add to fill the last 2 slots.
This type of magic, each place has its own magic category because they have a different system of magic and energy, but the most common magic is classified into 4 types like this.
First, elemental magic, as the name suggests, is based on existing elements, and can only be used if it has related elements. The 5 magic I listed are one example.
Second, direct magic, the direct purpose here is which use or energy directly, this magic does not use magic circles so it does not need a slot to be able to use it, magicians only need to have control which is good for using it.
The most fatal disadvantage of this magic is that the duration of casting is too long, because manual control must make every wizard have difficulty releasing this magic quickly, even after repeated training, direct magic still takes 4.5 seconds to prepare until release.
The third, Superb magic, or the usual earth people call it common magic, the reason is simple because this superb magic has common magic that ordinary people know, such as teleportation, telepathy, and others.
Superb magic is often used to categorize non-elemental magic or magic that has a combined element, so that Superb magic has a higher complexity of magic circles or even using multiple magic circles to shorten the release time, for that reason superb magic has high requirements about understanding the related spells and the ability of the mage itself, most of this magic even has high prerequisites, 95% itself is magic that only mages can use in rank 3 and above.
But even though this magic has high requirements, there are so many devotees, because even the weakest one (one slot magic) is more advanced than elemental magic at the same level, so it rarely has defects, many of which examine superb magic, especially in peaceful countries, so make this type of magic have a variety of magic.
The fourth and final type of magic is innate magic, this type of magic is usually possessed by middle-level races to high-level races, such as the Bell race, demon race, angels, dragons etc. this type of magic is also possessed by spirit plants, and can be extracted from it.
There are 4 types of magic available, I just choose which one is the best.
Direct magic doesn't need to be entered in the list of choices, because direct magic doesn't need slots, so whether it's selected or not, it won't make any difference.
In my original plan I thought of choosing elemental magic because this type of magic was magic that tended to battle magic, moreover I intended to go to the planet Elves lived in, which is generally not a peaceful place, having many spare weapons is not a bad thing.
But now I even start to be tempted by 2 other types of magic.
