11 Live Play (1)

"Well..." Ming resounded, "Maybe, Peak of the Advanced level?" and from Xuanmei's head, she heard it clearly.

Nodding mentally, Xuanmei shot a question at Ming;

"Have you seen this supposed Lan Helian before?"

Ming, in the form of the cat, looked at her, shaking his head sideways, from left to right repeatedly.

Smiling, she gripped Lan Helian's hand, bringing the seemingly seven year old girl along. Even though she had questions about this 'Lan Helian,' she still had time, and she had to be patient. She would ask after they were familiar with each other.

"For now, you're going to have to spend a while in an inn."

The small girl nodded obediently, and Ming was left with the girl for safety, even though she was an elf. However, before the shopkeeper left, Xuanmei struck a deal with the shopkeeper.

"Look, Xue clan would not notice that I had sneaked back, so I need you to..."

Meanwhile, a small but chaotic problem arose in the Xue mansion;

The third miss was missing. Didn't they see her today, though?

Her presence was just that negligible, they shrugged.

After doing thorough checks, finding that the third miss was gone, even though nobody really cared, the second and first young miss thought that it was a good idea to wait til dark to try to ruin the third young miss's reputation and make her lose face.

Soon, night fell, and as the curtain of night blocked out the light, and the stars are especially bright, Xuanmei's eyes seem to have the same shine as she sneaked into the room and neatly arranged where she would be sleeping, making it look untouched.

Noticing footsteps outside, she rolled down, onto the pile of wood that was beside her bed. Being, well, flat, there was no protrusion and the two sisters that sneaked into the room was easily tricked into thinking that their foolish third sister wasn't inside and was fooling around outside.

"Ming, have fun. We're about to witness a live play"

Ming's paws made a sound as he leaped through the window and jumped down from the windowsill.

"You're right. How lucky of us to catch a free play. They should be screaming about your disappearance any minute now,"

As if on cue, two high pitched worried shouts pierced through the silent night.

"Wow, looks like they really wanna defame me. I'm honored."

She opened the windows slightly bigger, and looked on as the people from the clan carried lanterns and headed to the source of the sound with groggy yet alert eyes.

Everyone around the snow clan slowly lit up their lanterns as the neighborhood slowly filled with dazzling orange light, flickering on and off, and due to grogginess, most can't see, and almost lit their hand on fire. The lights continued to flicker, much like having a lighter that slowly died while the flame licked at the gas that was running out.

Ferociously, as if they would never taste the element needed for them to burn ever again, it used up everything, burning out right after the last supply ran out. Sadly enough, by consuming the gasoline, it ended it's own life, just like that, because it thought it would do the opposite, which was to save it.

At this moment, second miss cried out, "Third sister is gone!"
