Possession 1: The Button

Soft breeze whispered as it blew, fallen leaves from the towering trees and petals from the cherry blossoms rustled as they spun on the ground, creating a small whirlpool as they spun. The wind's cool touch brought forth tendrils of despair, caressing the strings of her broken heart as the smile she'd worn a few minutes ago slowly twisted into agony as tears cascaded from her huge doe eyes behind a pair of thick glasses soundlessly as she watched the retreating back of the one she loved.

Each step away from her of the boy whom she'd given her youthful adoration for the most part of her adolescence echoed in her chest as the hollowness which flourished in each and every second filled her core.

This is it, she thought as she fought hard to fix her expression, making her lips tremble as she pushed the sorrowful bow of her lips into a pained smile in case the person decided to look back at her.
