Layla was breathing hard, she was hurrying towards the police station. The closer she got, more anxious she became. What if I screw up, then Shaun will kill me and my family, was the only thought that was stuck in her mind, as she reached the police station.
"Such a peaceful day, uneventful", thought Mason Spencer. Mason was a 35 year old police sergent, he had moved here from New York last year. Mason liked peaceful days and had enough with all the violence he had witnessed in New York.
Layla rushed in, sweating and frightened. Mason noticed her and immediately went to ask her what's wrong. "I was taking a walk near the school lake to cool my head off, and there I saw something burning. It looked like a corpse! ". He was taken aback a moment but then suspecting that this might be a prank he said, "It's not good to play pranks on police, Young lady ". Layla looked square at his eyes and swore that this wasn't a prank. Mason couldn't ignore her terrified expression and asked her to take him to the place where this corpse was.
On arriving at the scene, Mason felt faint. It really was a corpse, he called for backup. Meanwhile, Shaun opened Alex's wallet, which was taken by him before lighting the body on fire. 30 $ was all he had, for now. He decided that first he needs to get himself a ride, but without money and some extra clothes, there's nothing he could achieve. He decided to check up on Layla, to see how did she do with her task. Keeping his distance, he glanced towards the lake and saw multiple police cars, and also his parents. "That was quick, how could they tell it's me so soon? ", thought Shaun. He decided to go home and pickup some stuff along with money, since his parents were at the scene.
On reaching home, Shaun quickly grabbed a bag, stuffed some clothes, took some cash and decided to head back, when he heard voices. "I can't believe this, who could have done this!? ", it was his mum, sobbing while his dad tried to comfort her. "Shit! They are back already!? fuck! ", Shaun ran to his room and hid under the bed. He heard footsteps coming up, and then his parents entered the room, they both sat on his bed. It was silent, just the ticking of the clock. "The police have gone, right darling? ", asked his mum, "Yes" replied his dad. There was a brief silence again, then it happened. Both his parents burst laughing, "That little shit finally died! I don't know who did it but finally it happened", exclaimed his mum. "Yeah! I was almost running out of money by paying those kids to bully him, hoped the shit would commit suicide or something", said his father laughing! Shaun couldn't believe his own ears, what was going on. That was answered pretty quick, "Father had to go and put all the money in his name and then even the interests on it was directed to his bank account, how much do you think is there? ", asked his dad, "About 5 million I guess", said his mum. Shaun mind went blank, his eyes became blind with rage and he started trembling. He slowly came out of his hiding from the other side of the bed, and stood still for a second while his parents faced the other side. His dad saw Shaun's reflection in the mirror and screamed. Shaun had red eyes and his devilish grin was back. "H-How is this possi- "
*SLASH*
His dad's face was split in half vertically, seeing this his mum opened her mouth to scream, just then Shaun caught her mouth and ripped it open. Half of her face hung backwards. "That's it, I'm gonna fucking bury this world under the dead bodies!! ".
Shaun reached the bus station where he bought tickets to New York. While sitting in the bus, waiting to depart, he heard a familiar voice, he turned around to see who it was, and there sat, at the end seat, talking to someone on his phone. Mason Spencer.
