Home

Seeing a home, all to myself remind me of my previous life. I would be lying if I said that I didn't miss that solitude that I once had and have again now. I stared at the simple, yet beautiful house; it was similar to Rick's and this one had a basement along with a garage. "So this will be my home?" I asked Deanna as I touched the walls that were pure white and well maintained. The entire house was furnished with a couple of picture frames on the coffee table of the living room.

Deanna patted my back and said, "Yes, it will be from now on. We're having a welcoming party for your group later today, come and meet everyone." I faced towards Deanna and thought for a moment before giving a response, "Sure, but I won't be staying for long." She nodded and told me to wash up before leaving. I went upstairs to the master bedroom's bathroom and took a long, nice shower and scrubbed away all the grime off of me. Shampooed and conditioned my hair, returning it to it's silky appearance which was lost shortly after leaving Grady Memorial Hospital.

After getting out the shower, I bought a new black robe from the system and a display case for my old uniform. Do I care if people wonder where I the display case came from? Hell no, it's only a display case and I haven't transformed my basement into my contraband warehouse yet. No one is going to care for a display case but they will wonder what the hell is in my basement when I setup security for it.

Buying a full tool set and nails, I hung the display case with my old torn robe inside the living room above the TV that was already there. The robe had a lot of value to me since it was what I came to this world with and something that has lasted me for over a year. Sentimental? Yes. Should I throw it away? Hell yeah. Will I? Screw that, this is proof that I lived in this world, my legacy!

While I was having delusional thoughts, a knock came at the door and I went to answer it. I could tell it was someone who I didn't know from the scent, which I have to admit at this point is overpowered. Opening the door, I saw a blonde woman with a basket of food and some clothes. 'Ah, it's this woman.' I thought to myself when I recognized her, she was Jessie and it seems that she brought me clothes that are for women.

Jessie was the first to introduce herself, "Hello, I am Jessie and I came to bring you over supplies after Dianne told me that you were going to be living by yourself." I nodded and said, "I'm Jin and thank you for going out of your way to come over. But sadly I have to inform you that I am male and even though I know those clothes would suit me, I would have to decline."

Jessie laughed and said, "There's no way you're guy with an appearance like that along with a voice that fits it." I sighed before saying, "If you don't believe me you can cop a feel and find out for yourself."

She realized that I wasn't joking and quickly apologized, I shrugged it off and said, "It's fine. I prefer my robe though, I don't need any clothes so don't trouble yourself over it." There was an awkward silence before Jessie finally spoke up and said, "You just got out of the shower, so your hair is still wet. I want to pay you back and perhaps trim the ends of your hair." I didn't need to think much and agreed since I had dead ends that needed to go.

I took the food from the basket and Jessie left with the clothes before coming back with scissors and a comb. Now I was getting my hair cut inside the bathroom while having small talk with Jessie, she was the first to start and asked, "How old are you and what grade were you in before everything happened?" I hummed before answering, "I'm 19 and I already graduated from high school." Jessie said in a shocked tone, "Really? You look like you're 17, I guess you won't be going to school with the other kids." I laughed a bit and said, "No, I won't be going to school. My job is to be the therapist of Alexandria, believe it or not." Jessie chuckled and casually said, "I guess I'll be your first patient. I do want to talk to someone about my problems and a therapist would be perfect. You know how to keep secrets, right?" I smiled and said, "Yeah, I quite enjoy collecting people's secrets. I guess you'll be adding onto my collection."

Half an hour later, Jessie had already left after she finished with my hair. I sat on the couch in the living room, taking out several items from my inventory; a vial of blood, a book, a toothbrush, and toothpaste that I received from Leylin(DevourerOfWorldsSeekerOfTruth) and MommyGF. You thought I was going to pick up the vial of blood and book first? You're wrong, I picked up the toothbrush and toothpaste then started to brush my teeth. With my spare hand, I picked up the book and opened it causing a flood of information to be inserted into my brain along with the book being destroyed from existence.

I sat for a moment in silence while I brushed my tooth with less enthusiasm that I had at the start of it and thought to myself, 'How the fuck am I going to get the materials to even become a magi? The system doesn't sell shit the materials since I never bought the required sub-system for Warlock of the Magus World related content.
