"It's fine, you can start by uprooting weeds and flowers, still feed them to me"
Why weeds and flowers? I thought you could only consume animals, humans and celestials.
"Correction: people only assumed that, they never really tried it."
I uproot the weed and snap it in half, I feel a tiny hint of power surge through my body.
Aha! I see! So that's how it works!
I then start uprooting and destroying many flowers and weeds while feeding them to my master so both he and I get stronger and the same time, even if my master is already at such a high position.
I suddenly feel something strange after I uprooted a white rose, it was as if I was more aware of my surroundings as well as more capable.
What is happening to me?
"I forgot to mention, if you reach 10,000% or higher godly consumption in an animal, plant or attribute/skill, you gain their attributes and abilities and may use them as you wish."
I looked at the flowers I had consumed, they were mostly roses, I try to see what ability I had gained, then thorns pop around my body at will.
This is brilliant!
"I'm glad you are beginning to have a better understanding, you shall start with plants and insects, not many people understand the great abilities they hold and how powerful they would be if a human used it. Start with ants, keep fighting them until you can withstand 50x your own weight."
So, as master commanded, I kept on fighting them, I had killed about one-hundred of them to gain their ability.
Master, what's next?
"Go into the cave and kill at least one-thousand spiders"
Why one-thousand?
"To gain both their abilities you must have 1000,000% of godly consumption aimed towards them. Do not stop until you are able to shoot webs and climb upon walls."
(So basically become spider-man?)
I went to the cave, there were thousands of bats who tried to suck up my blood. However, I could feel the presence of hundreds of spiders being squashed beneath my feet with every step I took as I ran from the bats, not only did I kill one thousand spiders, I killed around ten-thousand. I could feel not two abilities like master had told me, but rather; three abilities, I could shoot webs, climb walls but in addition to that, I was also able to use spider poison.
I then used the rose thorns to push out all over my body, then injected all of them with poison as the vampiric bats charged towards me. Instead of sucking my blood as they initially intended, they sucked the poison out of the rose thorns as an alternative, they later died. I must have killed hundreds of bats, I've also gained a bat-type ability, the ability to sense things with hearing. This allows me to also see things out of my vision.
With the poison, I've noticed that I've gained immunity to these types of poisons which I can spread.
After a hectic trip, I returned to my master.
"I see you have grown much stronger. The poison you have gained will also be invaluable."
So why did you say to kill one-thousand spiders and not ten-thousand?
"The spider poison ability is extremely rare, even if you killed one-hundred thousand spiders you might not have gotten it. This rule applies to all types of venoms and poisons. The enhanced godly consumption did have a great role to play in you getting it, but you still needed an immense amount of luck."
So, I just got lucky?
"In essence, yes. Let's hope you still have more of that luck as we later try to get some venom. However, don't underestimate your progress, it is fantastic!"
How so?
"For example, you've already maxed out your thorn skill."
I bring out a thorn to see if the appearance had changed, they have. Before they looked like rose thorns popping out of my skin; now they look more like someone had modified them and made razor shaper knives out of rose thorns. They look more durable as well, they look less likely to fall off or break.
Wow, you're right, do you think I could have maxed out my spider poison skill as well!?
"Unfortunately, that is a legendary worldly skill, they are at least 1,000x to 10,000x harder to level up than common skills or even uncommon skills at that."
I see, what level do you think I am in right now?
"I would say, because of your spider poison skill, nearing peak yuan warrior."
It's only been two hours! That is amazing! It normally takes people years to reach this level!
"Without the spider poison and enhanced godly consumption, right now you would be in the same level; no even less that of an insect. So you better show me your respect, boy!"
