CHAPTER THIRTEEN (13) Young Man

After dinner, Grace suggested they visit a club or bar to have little drink.

Rose disagreed but after much persuasion from Grace she finally agreed and they chose a club some blocks away from the restaurant.

When they got their, the bouncers immediately allowed them to go in as they easily recognized Grace.

Rose was hit with a strong smell of alcohol and cigarettes, with the crowd dancing crazily. "Grace, you can still retract your words..."

"Let's go!" Grace excitedly said. "Over there," she pointed to a free space.

"Grace..." Before Rose could complete her sentence, Grace dragged her forward, going through the corners to get there.

Rose frowned the instant they got in. "It stinks in here." Not only did she have to deal with the alcohol from outside, the space area was worst.

"What did you say!" It was noisy and hard to understand what anyone was saying.

Rose sighed. "It stinks in here!" Unlike Rose, Grace was mischievous. While Rose attends socialite birthday parties, wedding parties and so one, Grace prefer to go clubbing, getting drunk and dancing off beats.

"Don't worry!" Grace said to her. "I'll tell them to spray air freshener."

Rose mouth was lightly parted. "Really?" A mixture was brought to them and Grace whispered to the bar man, he nodded and went to get whatever was said to him.

He soon returned with a spray, after spraying it he went to ask Rose what she wanted.

Rose shrugged. She had absolutely no idea.

"Taste this," Grace pointed at her mixture on the table.

Rose used her tongue tip to have a taste of it. She put it aside and asked. "What is this called?"

"Walk me down cocktail!" the bar man answered. "There are more! Do you want to have a taste, too?"

"Go get more!" Grace was halfway through her glass.

Rose's mouth further parted. "Is this how good you've become with alcohol?"

"I can't hear you Rose," Grace frowned. "Speak louder!"

Rose shook her head. "Have you forgotten you have a profile to keep?" Rose raised her voice.

"Hahaha!" Grace laughed hard. "What profile? No one would dare to talk about me!"

"Yeah, no one." Rose mumbled.

"They are all scared of me!"

Rose shook her head again. Grace would remain iconic to her because of how strong her head was, she could tons of glass and still be sane.

"Drink up Rose!" Grace suggested. "It's good! Believe me!"

Rose took her first sip when they heard a commotion coming from outside.

It was a group of men, all were clad in black. They formed a partway and another man appeared with two girls beside him.

Grace hissed. "Do you know who that is?"

Rose rolled her eyes. "I don't care!"

"Yeah, neither do i, just that he's annoying and known for his silly behaviors."

Girls started making body movements just to attract him.

Rose shook her head, what was so good about him?

"He looks good right?"

"No!"

"Hahaha! I knew you'd disagree!" Grace commented. "He's cocky also! Annoying and whatever thing that is terrible that you might think of!"

Rose smiled. "You seem to hate him a lot!"

"He deserves it! I wonder what other women see in him!"

Rose had absolutely no idea who it was so she didn't have much to say about him.

"He's trouble, too!"

And as if he heard her, his head turned to their direction. Grace also happened to be looking at his direction, he winked at her and Grace's face revealed disgust.

He seemed to have been offended, he called one of his men and whispered into his ear, the guard started making his way towards their space.

The bar man appeared first with varieties, "This is called Bloody Mary," he pointed at the first glass he set down. "This is pineapple rum punch, mai tai, apple martini and mojito."

Rose showed a look of confusion. "What are all these?"

"Cocktails! Beverages and alcohol!"

"You can leave." Grace waved him off and at that instant the man walked him and went to whisper into Grace's ear.

Rose straightened up. "Who is he?"

Grace raised the side of her mouth when the man was down. "I'm not interested!"

"He's kindly requesting!" This time the man spoke out and Rose heard him.

"What is he saying?" Rose inquired.

"Don't worry girlfriend! I got this!" She stood up and towered over the man. "Go tell him I'm not interested!"

"Don't force me!" The man hollered.

"Hey!" Rose moved over to Grace's side. She had promised Mr An that she would bring Grace back, safe and unharmed.

Grace laughed and blocked Rose. "And what would you do?"

"Miss An!"

"You're very familiar with me, then..." Grace chuckled.

"You're pissing me off!"

Rose was shocked by the man's guts! For the fact that he even recognized Grace but still chose to be stupid.

"Get out!" The aura around them switched as Rose spoke up.

"And who are you?" The man pointed his index finger at Rose.

"You're quite dumb not to recognize me!" Rose smirked. "Get out!"

"Chill!!!" A voice came from the door.

"Yes master!" The man moved to the side, making way for the young man that had been requesting for Grace's presence.

"Rose, calm down. He won't do more than a dead rat." Grace whispered into Rose's ear.

"How do you know someone like this?" Rose's brows creased.

The young man rested lazily on the door frame while blowing smoke.

"You!" He pointed at Rose. "Why don't you go seat instead of interfering in other people's business?"

"Ha!" Rose smacked her lips. "Are you dumb or just plain stupid?"

The young man frowned. "Do you even know who you're talking to?"

"Hmph." Grace sighed. "Just get out of here and take your servant with you!"

"An. Ruolan. Grace." He winked at her, "Come to my table, let's have a drink."

"Sir, should I pull her if she hesitates?" The man asked.

"No, no! That's the An family young miss!"
