"Stop accusing my grandchild just to defend yours!" Duan Yongrui also sat up.

Peng Lanying smiled. She knew her grandfather would never agree then she turned to slap Jun on the shoulder.

Rose on the other hand shook her head at Peng Lanying. She was so stupid. Always trying to spike trouble in the family.

Duan Meilin pulled Yongrui as she saw Lihua take steps towards them.

Nianzu also tried to stop his old mother. She was one of the sweetest human but changed the instant she was provoked. "Mother..."

"Lihua ma..." Mr Chen went to the other side to also pull her. "Please calm down..."

"Leave me... leave me... let me teach him a lesson since he can't correct his grandchild." Duan Lihua struggled. "Why does she keep reporting lies to you? Hmm?"

Yongrui raised his shoulder while looking away proudly.

"Why can't she fight?" Everyone knew that Rose was stronger and was willing to beat anyone up. So Lihua question was just to make Peng Lanying look stupid.

"She's two years older than Rose! Why didn't she fight back?"

Peng Lanying rolled her eyes at that. "She got her team to throw me out..."

"Speak one more and I'll beat you up myself!" Duan Lihua threatened.

Peng Lanying beating heart went up. Beat her? That's outrageous.

"Keep quiet!" Meilin turned to shush Peng Lanying. "The elders are talking."

Peng Lanying felt injustice but closed her mouth.

Rose had wanted to really put these people in their place but seemed like her grandmother had woken from their spell.

"Lihua ma, please return to your chair." Mr Chen pleaded.

"Sure," Her crisp answer made Nianzu smile. "Yongrui, you should thank my son Inlaw and your lord. I would have beaten you and Lanying up."

Yongrui also sat back down.

Nianzu cleared his throat as he stood in the middle. "Hello everyone," a big smile hung on his face as he bowed. "Good evening, I think we should come together as a family instead of always fighting against each other..." he checked his wristwatch. "It's late already, let's just have dinner instead of screaming at the top of our lungs. Sister Yue was able to prepare something delicious before we arrived. So please..."

"Mssstcheeew!" Yongrui loud and sudden hiss stunned everyone but Lihua whom yelled in return.

"I told y'all to let me hit this silly boy..."

"..." Peng Lanying was expressionless.

Rose almost laughed. Her grandmother and grand uncle were great actors.

"Hahaha..." Nianzu chuckled. "Please I beg y'all to calm down." He then turned to Peng Lanying. "I think you also everyone an apology."

"Uncle Nianzu what are you saying?"

Peng Jun rubbed his shoulders against hers. "Just do it..." he said in a soft tone.

"Are you nuts?" Peng Lanying shoved Jun away.

"If you don't, then I'd reveal to everyone why my mother is mad at you." His soft tone while he threatened Peng Lanying threw her off the edge.

Jun's eyes constricted. But he stayed away from his sister.

"Uncle Nianzu, seems like you've got it all wrong..."

"For how long are you going to lie, Lanying?" Rose cut through her sentence.

And for the first time, Meilin was thankful that neither her son nor grandchildren was part of this drama. It was obvious that Lanying was lying and Lihua has found out about it, still Lanying continues to lie.

"Lanying are you hiding anything from us?" Meilin turned to ask her.

All eyes was on her, it felt as if they wanted to burn her skin... none of those eyes was friendly, she turned to look at her brother and her eyes were begging him but he just turned away from her.

Lanying couldn't speak for a while as she was in deep thoughts. She couldn't just accept the fact that she went to attack Rose. Her mother Biyu, would kill her for shaming them and her grandfather Yongrui might disown her... She can't take the last blame.

"Rose," she gathered so much strength to be able to call out that one name. "You're the one that is lying."

"Are you trying to make a fool of us?" Meilin stood up to face Lanying.

"Aunt... Aunt, Rose is the liar here!"

Lanying is one evil girl... Mrs Chen thought. "Lanying dear..."

"Don't try to coerce me!" Lanying screamed. "Rose is being sued!"

She checked out everyone expression to make sure they understood what she meant. They would return the anger to Rose, for sure. But it was obvious, Mr Chen already knew, he didn't show a shocked expression neither did uncle Nianzu except the elders and Mrs Chen.

"What are you saying?" Mrs Chen asked.

"Rose is being sued for destruction of property!" Lanying further informed everyone. "Not just Rose but also the Empire! Do you know what that means? We might suffer a loss! Y'all can't see that?"

"Lanying," Mr Chen stood up as well. "I think it's enough of you accusing my child of various crimes always. You should really stop now."

"Stop?" Lanying was angered. "Uncle Chen..."

"Don't use such tone at my father." Rose warned. "You can disrespect or disregard everyone else but my father! I won't hesitate to finish you."

"Rose, are you threatening me?"

"Don't push me, then."

"I think you've gone nuts!" Lanying was almost at the verge of tears. "What will happen to my assets? Not just mine but everyone else's own! What will you say then?"

"Calculate your asset, I'll pay you ten folds of it." Rose determined face made Yongrui wonder what the little girl was thinking.

"Are you also going to tell me to calculate mine?" He questioned and Rose reply sent everyone off.

"Do you want it in cash or transfer?"

Everyone in the room was too stunned to speak.

"Make your choice now, as it is still early and you'd get to avoid the aftermath of whatever loss we suffer in the coming months."

"Now I see!" Yongrui breathing increased. "You've truly lost your mind and respect!"

"Grand uncle Yongrui, I'm not the one that lost my value..." Rose paused to point at Lanying. "She did."

Lanying smirked. "You're just telling lies."
