CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE (25) Leech

A day later, and it was Saturday.

Rose, Xu Dandan and Ye Zedong had gone over to the warehouse to be there when everything would be distributed. She soon received a phone call from Su Yuanqi.

"Why are you just calling me?" She asked, annoyed.

"I'm willing to join hands with you." His straightforward speech surprised Rose.

"Wow!" Rose beamed. "That took you so long to say. I have been waiting for almost a life time..."

"If there's nothing else, I'd like to hang up. I'm busy."

"Busy with what?" She raised an eyebrow as if he could see her. "Don't you want to know where your properties are?"

"Let's talk about that when we meet face to face."

"Let's meet today then," Rose suggested.

"I can't make it today, some other time." And he hung up.

Rose jaw dropped.

Xu Dandan peeked over at her boss. "Whom are you begging to meet?"

"I didn't beg him..."

"Him?" Xu Dandan brain only caught onto that. "Who is him?"

"Mind your business," Rose rolled her eyes, picked up a popsicle and started to eat.

Xu Dandan wanted to say something more but stopped when, Ye Zedong strode over to the two women. "Everything is set, yes!" He couldn't hide his excitement.

Xu Dandan patted him thrice on the back, "You've really done well."

"Will you take me out to dinner, then?" Zedong made puppy eyes at Xu Dandan, her smile froze then she sneered.

"Are you a leech?"

"Won't mind leeching off you."

Rose scrutinized the two. "Is there something going on, between you two? That I need to know?"

Hearing that, Xu Dandan shifted away from him and dusted her hands.

"You're seeing wrong, boss."

Ye Zedong narrowed his eyes at Dandan. "Are you rejecting me?"

"Spare me," Xu Dandan didn't want to talk about anything like that. She was more interested in whom Rose was speaking to.

Rose chuckled then walked towards the front gate.

"Two trucks just departed." He Duyi informed her as she got there.

"Did you inspect it properly before letting it depart?"

"Yes, it is 99.9 percent okay."

"I love the sound of that." Rose commented and she Duyi bowed with a big smile.

"What do you want for lunch?" Xu Dandan asked. "I want to order."

"Order lobster stew and rice." Ye Zedong said.

Xu Dandan hissed. "I wasn't talking to you."

"Chicken noodle soup," He Duyi flashed her a smile.

"Okay," Xu Dandan reply annoyed Ye Zedong.

"How can you simply say okay to him but refuse to buy for me."

"You are paid more, why should I buy food for you?"

"I will buy then," Rose took out her phone and was about to tap on the food delivery app when Xu Dandan stopped her.

"No, i was just playing with him. I'll buy for everyone including the warehouse employees."

"Woah!" Ye Zedong couldn't help but say. "Really? You're way more generous than I thought."

Even Rose was surprised. Xu Dandan, was willing to buy food? She'd let her then.

Xu Dandan snorted at Zedong. "Mind your business." She then started to tap away on her phone, placing orders.

Meanwhile Rose was bored. She couldn't tell the reason why, but she had been eager to meet Su Yuanqi after that day. She put on her pride coat and refused to call him.

And he called her today but hung up on her... What was wrong with him? Why did he have to be so cocky? And also annoying?

Thinking about that, Rose really wanted to find out what he was doing at that moment, whom he was possibly with...

Su Yuanqi took down his phone and Changsu cheered.

"Yessss!"

Baozhai and Shen were expressionless.

"Sir, you've made the best decision... believe me. I knew you are sensible... haha... this excites me so much..."

"Are you really that happy?" Su Yuanqi asked Changsu.

Changsu abruptly stopped. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that... is just that, it's really good you had a change of mind at last."

"Sir do you mean we are going to be working for that brat?" Baozhai was disgusted.

"Baozhai, mind you that the person you're talking about is younger than you but wealthy and beautiful." Changsu wanted to slap her. "Why do you feel good talking low about other people? Is it out of jealousy?"

"Changsu just stop it!" Baozhai dead stare, didn't scare Changsu, so he continued.

"If truly we are going to be working under Miss Chen, you'd come to regret ever calling her stupid names."

"Not like I care."

"You will have to, because she's our future partner." Changsu then turned to Su Yuanqi. "Sir, don't let Baozhai dirty your name. Whatever wish you make, that we shall follow."

"Sir are we truly going to be controlled by money driven lady?" Shen spoke up this time around.

Su Yuanqi thought for a while before coming up with an answer. "Something like that."

"Sir, why not just start up somewhere else?" Baozhai still stood against the fact that they had to work for Rose. "I mean, maybe we move away from this city and into another one. You're well known, people will still support you. Just let her do whatever she wants on that land. She would fail woefully. She will still come to beg you. Please think about this, head chef."

"Sir, Baozhai is right." Shen supported. "You should really rethink this. She's an enemy, why did she have to destroy the restaurant first before she made her intentions known? She's one bitter human. She's so rich yet greedy. She's evil and doesn't deserve to be associated with."

All the while he spoke. "O" Changsu mouth formed an o. "Why are you talking like a woman?" Changsu shook his head. "No way, did Baozhai pour spit into your mouth? Have you lost your mind? I can't believe you just said all that."

"What did I say wrong?" Shen asked Changsu.

"Everything! Trust me everything you just said, is filled with a deep rooted hate from your heart."
