CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX (26) A Love Chat

"Everything! Trust me everything you just said, is filled with a deep rooted hate from your heart."

"Changsu you're crazy."

"Stop it guys." Su Yuanqi sighed. "Y'all can stop arguing and insulting each other because of Miss Chen, also she's not to be blamed. She really has no hand in this..."

"Sir, how can you say that?" Baozhai asked. "She destroyed our restaurant..."

"It was sold to her." Su Yuanqi corrected.

"Still, she's..." Shen wanted to say something but stopped because Changsu interrupted him.

"I knew from the start, Miss Chen would never be so unreasonable. I mean, she's a good human."

Shen squeezed his face at Changsu's comment.

"Mr Song sold the land and building to Miss Chen, he also deceived her into believing that I had abandoned the restaurant."

"..." Baozhai was speechless.

Shen mouth hung open.

Changsu was the only one that found his voice. "What did you say?"

"Yes," Su Yuanqi answered honestly. "So, Miss Chen isn't our enemy, it's Mr Song actually."

"That stupid old man!" Baozhai screamed. "No wonder I hate him."

"You hate everyone but yourself," Changsu eyed her. "Now how you instantly diverted your hatred from Miss Chen to Mr Song."

"Sir, are you serious?" Shen asked.

Su Yuanqi nodded with a shrug.

"What do you plan on doing to him?" Changsu questioned.

"I'll deal with him, later not now."

Baozhai thought for a while before speaking up. "So what happens to Urban Remedy? Like what do we do now?"

"I'll update y'all as soon as I meet up with Miss Chen. Whatever the final decision may be."

"So we'd remain jobless until she's done with the building?" Baozhai was displeased, she just wanted a way to end up blaming Rose. Yes, she never met her before but hated the girl.

"Seems like that is it..." Shen pressed his lips together after speaking.

"I don't think it will take long..." Changsu had hopes. "She's smart, she must have thought up a plan."

"You don't understand," Baozhai said to Changsu. "She should have started renovating the upper floors, then we move up so she could renovate the last floor."

"You know nothing about buildings and construction, so just shut up and wait until Mr Su meets with her. Go and make up new recipes for our new restaurant instead."

"Why does it feel like you know this missy personally?"

"I really wish I did." Changsu looked up at the clear sky with a big smile on his face.

Su Yuanqi hid his smile with his palm, Changsu must be head over heels for that annoying girl, he'd be sure to introduce him to her soon. Maybe she'd tease him also... The thought of that, irked him.

"Continue dreaming," Baozhai, slapped Changsu on the head.

He turned and glared at her. "Don't touch me." Then he turned to Su Yuanqi. "Do you have noodles? I'm suddenly hungry?"

Su Yuanqi got up and they followed him up, they got to the kitchen and he took out a carton of noodles.

"Your house is really fine, sir." Baozhai fixed her hair behind her ear.

"Thank you," Su Yuanqi said, then pushed the carton towards Changsu. "Here you have it."

"Thank you sir!" Changsu instantly got to work mode. "I'm only cooking mine with sir Yuan's you two can sort yourself." He pointed at Baozhai and Shen when he said it.

"I'll also cook for him, so you sort yourself." Baozhai sneered at Changsu.

Meanwhile Su Yuanqi left them to return to the balcony. He took out his phone and called his mother.

When Changsu went to give him his own share, Su Yuanqi was still on the phone, so he silently dropped it.

"Thank you," Su Yuanqi muttered.

Changsu gave him a thumbs up and returned.

As everyone else was busy eating, Rose sat far from them with her iPad in hand. She would occasionally smile then tap on her screen.

Rose smile made Xu Dandan to creep up behind her. Her eager smile, dissipated when she saw what Rose was looking at.

"You're smiling at your drawing..."

"What were you expecting?"

"A love chat or a picture of a young man..."

"You're just crazy." Rose burst into laughter. "Why do you always imagine things?"

"Boss, don't you think it's time to get a man by your side?"

"Do you have any suggestions for me?"

Xu Dandan twitched her mouth. "No, not really."

"Then where do you expect me to find one?"

"Anywhere, you have so many men trying hard to be with you, you should really consider relationship." Xu Dandan pouted after speaking.

"If you can find a man for yourself, then I'd be willing to find one for myself."

"How can you say that?" Dandan was dispirited. "You have a lot of money, unlike me, who'd be willing to stay with me? I have nothing to offer..."

"Yes, except eating." Rose interrupted Dandan only to mock her.

Dandan shrugged. "You are not wrong, though. So that is why you have to find a man before me. I might end up being single for life."

"Don't say that." Rose frowned. "You're beautiful and intelligent. Also independent, that's what every man wants."

"Did you just call me beautiful?" Dandan had a confused expression. "I think you need eyeglasses more than you need a man. Take a lot at yourself, you have the best skin without using any makeup. Meanwhile I have to rely on makeup to hide my pimples... Arg! You are Almighty's favorite, believe me."

"You shouldn't degrade yourself, Dan'er. You're perfect the way you are."

Xu Dandan blushed. She used her palms to cover her face. "You're so nice with your words."

"I'm not lying though."

"I really wish so." She started giggling.

"What do you think about my drawings though?" Rose showed it to Dandan.

"You've advanced a lot..." she took the iPad and started going through the pictures.

"You think so too, right?"

"Yes, it's almost looks like our designing manager had drawn it."

Rose snatched the iPad from Xu Dandan. "You're lying to me."

"Haha," Xu Dandan burst into laughter. "I was being sincere when I said you've advanced a lot though."

"Thanks."

"Do you really want to build a five star restaurant?"

"Yes, what do you think about that?"

"What more should I think than that you're not just beauty without brains." Xu Dandan heaved a sigh of relief. "I am also thankful to the Almighty that I was able to meet an angel on earth like you."
