Ryo arrived at the village after the quick confrontation with the wolf pack. This time though he was not alone. What looked like twenty or something wolfs could be seen walking behind him.
In the middle of the village, you saw the goblins standing anxiously waiting for the return of their village savior. The monsters followed simple hierarchy. The strongest stand on the top and protect all who follow him. That is the simple rule in this worlds monster society.
The goblins knew immediately when Ryo walked into the village, that he existed on a entirely different realm of power then them. He had shown kindness and power which resulted in the goblins swearing allegiance to him in their hearts. In this cruel world, it's hard to find your footing without strength or powerful allies. The goblins saw great power in Ryo and with that they also saw their chance of survival.
The goblin chief saw Ryo return with the wolfs walking behind him, and he immediately became apprehensive. He felt trust in the being that saved his village, but he was not sure what to make of the wolfs.
"Welcome back sire! Did everything go as planned?" Being the chief of the village he was the one to speak for his village, even though Ryo made him nervous.
"It went fine, these wolfs are staying in this village from now on. They are working for me so don't worry about them attacking you." Ryo said as he past the chief and walked towards his house.
"I-i see, does that mean you are staying in the village, sire?" The chiefs face shone with anticipation.
"ye, for now i will stay. I like you guys so i will stay and help this village a bit." Ryo had plans to turn this village into something greater, but he didn't know anything about the world yet. That's why he chose not to tell anything to the chief.
"That's great to hear Sire! We offer out most humble services." The chief was overflowing with happiness. Maybe now his village did not have to live in constant fear of destruction from outside forces.
"No problem, and stop calling me sire. It's freaking me out you know. Just call me Ryo." Ryo spoke his piece and walked inside his house while the goblins were cheering outside for him.
"I understand our great king Ryo." The chief bowed down in respect while Ryo just sighed quietly.
-----Few days later-----
Ryo was lying inside on his bed watching the ceiling that was made of straw and sticks. He was currently debating something important with himself. Ryo knew he would someday leave this world, and it might be soon, he didn't really know.
During the last few days he had been soul searching to try and find out exactly how becoming a dragon had changed him. He knew that now one of the worst things he knew was somebody looking down on him. He felt an immense pride and he wouldn't let anyone step on him.
The most mysterious thing about this knew him, was this pulling force that screamed at him to dominate everyone he came across. It happened when he arrived inside this village. At that point he suppressed it since it was not the time to explore that side of him.
His body and soul were screaming for him to go around flaunt his aura to every corner in the universe. Dominate, conquer, slaughter. These were the feeling running ramped inside his whole being. The more mysteries thing to him was that these feeling themselves didn't scare him. Whenever he thought of weak, and powerful beings alike bowing at his feet, he felt a rush of excitement and happiness.
"These feeling will surely bring great trouble in the future, *sigh* It seems being a dragon is not just flying around kidnapping princesses."
*sigh*
"I know it brings trouble but i can't help but want to conquer this world. Watch as my armies raise kingdoms to the ground. Spreading great fire and destruction through the world." Ryo felt that whatever he chose to do, it all would eventually lead to him standing as conqueror over the weak, and strong alike.
"Is this what fate feels like? No matter what i do or how i live, it will always end up the same way?!" Ryo didn't dislike the idea of conquer. The problem was that he had no army or any solid foothold in any world to help him.
"ha ha, if i really am going to be doing this i will need subordinates to take care of all the small annoying tasks i can't be bothered with." Thinking further on how he could increase his army, he suddenly remembered something about naming monsters.
"hey system, most of these goblins don't have names. What will happen if i name them?"
[Answer! Should host name the village goblins their evolution i unknown. Great increase in strength is guaranteed but the system can't analyze that evolution path properly.] A familiar voice spoke after a long time of silence.
"why can't you determine the evolution? shouldn't goblins be pretty simple monsters?" He didn't think that the goblin race was that advanced.
[Answer] Never before in the universe has hosts bloodline existed. Therefore it is impossible to say what they would become, should you name them.]
"ooh, but they will be strong, right? i know their loyal so i just need them to gain some strength so i don't have to be here protecting them all the time."
[Answer!] hard to say host. They should become powerful enough to combat the ogres living further in the Jura forest.]
"Ogres? I guess their powerful then? Maybe i should go recruit them. If i can gain their loyalty then that's just means more powerful beings in my future army."
[Host is recommended to gain ogre subordinates and name them for potential chance of them becoming an oni.]
"oni? like a demon or something. Sound scary. not sure i want a demon watching my back in a fight." Ryo started laughing imagining a demon lord standing by his side serving him tea.
[They are a kind of yōkai. They are the ogres most powerful evolution. With hosts bloodline, oni evolution is 100% guaranteed.]
"I have no idea what a yokai can do but i will just wait and see if i even stumble upon an ogre." First and foremost Ryo needed to handle the naming of this village goblins.
"I should just handle the naming tomorrow. For now let's sleep and handle the important stuff when i am not so tired." Ryo closed his eyes and turned to his side, trying to enter the dreamland. He had a hard time sleeping, thinking about the future and the mighty army he would build.
