Chapter 2

Emily has finished a slow and long day of lessons, having 2 lessons of Wizardry then Social Teaching, R.E, Spanish and P.E can be pretty exhausting.

Emily walks home from school, like she does every 5 days of the week. She glances at the beautiful and familiar scenery. The trees are swaying slowly and gracefully in the wind, the roads are half-occupied by the cars and the flutter and buzzing of the butterflies and bees made the environment ever so calm…that is until Emily sees Mr. Remun, her tutor, walking into an abandoned valley and through a mysterious yet ordinary door.

Emily furrows her eyebrows in confusion. What was Mr. Remun doing over there? She decided to ignore it and go home anyway. It was probably nothing she had to worry about.

Around 10 minutes later Emily is home. She hangs her bag on a hanger and takes off her shoes by the doors. Saying a quick 'Hello' to Elliott before going into the bathroom to take a shower. After she's done, she puts on her home clothes and goes into the room to rest.

Taking her phone, Emily goes on ToonbiReads, an app within the Social Media Toonbi where you can read weekly updates of comics. She reads the new episodes of The Supreme before diverting her attention to Toonbi.

She checks new posts of her favorite followers and reads new messages. She looks at one of her contacts, IsaacK. Emily sighs sadly. She misses Isaac so much. It's been 2 years since she has last seen him. She puts the internet off and lays the phone next to her. Laying down on the bed, she closes her eyes and dreams.
