Dear Diary,
I told you before that sister usually goes to Uncle A's house in the daytime, right? Yesterday I told her how bored I am when I'm alone at home. Today she doesn't go there but instead accompanies me at home! If I knew that it's so easy to ask her to stay here, I'd already do that since day 1. Then I wouldn't be bored to death like last week.
It never crosses my mind that I can just ask her. Somehow it seems as if she must go there, like how Joe and I must report at work every day. I forget that she isn't going there to work.
Anyway, instead of sister going to Uncle A's house, today Uncle A's daughter is the one coming to visit us. Her name is Anna. Couldn't keep saying "Uncle A's daughter", can I? It's too long, my hand will sore if I keep writing like that.
By the way, I think I need to find time to test sister at reading and writing. It's been long since I last taught her, don't know if there is any improvement or not. Oh, I can use my healing time to do that. That way, I'd at least have something to do.
Yes, sister doesn't really know how to read or write yet. Or at least, used to. She gets better over time. I was taught by Dad on how to write and read, but sister isn't as lucky as me. Mom haven't taught her by far when she passed away, and dad already left us before Mom did. So, yeah. You can say I'm sort of sister's guardian right now, so her education is also my responsibility.
Back again to the topic. Anna visited us today. And she brought us fruits. She still looking around with wonder, but only not as long as the first time. Looks like Anna and sister are good friends. They chatted happily, in a topic that I have never heard sister talked about before. Something about what flowers are best with this flower, what color suitable for this kind of bouquet, what flower is best for this kind of occasion...
I think I was looking at an alien instead of my own sister! I mean, how can there be so many things to talk about with only flowers as the topic?! And they can even talk for hours!
Is it appropriate for me to say "must be coming with the job"? But she is not even working there, just helping out.
Maybe my sister is a born genius!
As her brother, I'm so proud of her! I really want to send a letter to mom and dad, just to tell them, look at your daughter, she is so smart, she is able to learn about flowers just from few weeks learning them!
I'm one hundred percent certain that Mom and Dad will be so happy to hear it. Maybe Mom will smile with teary eyes. Dad will mostly laugh loudly and say "as expected of my daughter!" or something along that line. And then Mom will smack dad's head with an annoyed look and say "she is also my daughter!". Dad will most likely look at her sheepishly, just silently rubbing his head...
Oops, I let my imagination go wild for a moment there.
A hallucination that would remain a hallucination.
