Maya is not your typical hacker. Ten years ago, her only living family was killed in cold blood. The killers make her take the fall but after ten years in prison, she's become stronger. Now, she hunts the very monsters that hunt others. She's untraceable until she runs into Alec, the Underworld's notorious leader who doesn't seem to be quite human. Things aren't as they seem though, as Maya is pulled into a twisted fate. Maya now has to run from the Underworld boss who wants her as his own and a mysterious hacker who seems to have it out for her. What could possibly go wrong, right?

Silent Hacker

I try to pull my arm away as I look at him with a frown. "Remi, let go," I say with irritation. He tightens his grip and pushes me against the wall. Chip perks up and steps up closer with a worried look. I shake my head at Chip but he doesn't back off.

I guess Remi was worried? I look up to his dark green eyes and say "I'm sorry if I scared you but to be honest... I'm always doing things like this... You should have seen me on the skyscrapers..." I shake my head as I start to get off track.

"I'm okay... okay?" I say pulling my arm again but he still doesn't release me. I frown and look back to his dark green eyes. They watch me with an intensity that has me slightly shocked. Had I really scared him? Suddenly his pupils dilate and I find it hard to look away.
