Daily Struggle of an Author

My daughter is still in the hospital right now. The doctor came and changed her medication since they've confirmed she has pneumonia. Her medicine will be taken orally to hasten her recovery.


We're all tired here due to a lot of things to look after. I give time to read on some books I'm following, maybe one or two.  I continue to write for my book but not as much as I have before. At least, I can add around 500 words a day.


I might miss days not to write here but I'll try not to miss more than two days.


As of the moment, my book is progressing. I'm still excited. This will be having longer chapters compared to my previous works.  Chapter 1 is, at least, 3000+ words. I thought of cutting it but the beauty of the prose will be cut as well. So, I need to reread it if there are some points that can be taken away.


Chapter 2 might also be long. The draft is already 2500+ words with flat description. We'll see where it leads me.


I hope I can finish one arc this week. 


My kids and I have been watching an anime, Black Clover. I've seen a lot of good ideas for my story from this anime alone. So, I kept my Word processor open while watching, so I can write the ideas before it blows away from my mind.


I want to write more but I can't think more about what to write. I want to write something encouraging and heart-warming event but I lack inspiration.


I'll make it up when my schedule normalized.
