27. One realm!

The news about the head of Blaze family being cordial towards an old man and a young guy spread throughout the city. Elder Shi was oblivious towards these tactics but.....would someone of his status care about such things?

Right now he was going through several notes about forging with Zoro.

" There are two ways to forge, one like I told you. That's the one every forger uses, atleast in this time."

" What's the other? "

" The other one is a long lost art. It focus on hammering techniques. There are forgers that still follow that path but compared to the one we use its way too difficult."

" Why is that? "

" The one we use nowadays focus on qi, with perfect control over our Qi we can shape any kind of weapon. Whereas hammering technique focus on shaping the weapon using our own hands.

It requires absolute focus and tremendous physical power. Warriors does possess extraordinary strength but as the class of weapons goes higher the strength required will also increase accordingly."

Zoro was lost in thought, Elder Shi gave him time to digest what he said and continued.

" I am a class seven forger. Which means I can make weapons usable by warrior kings."

" Do you always use Qi control to make a weapon? "

He expected Zoro to ask him to make a weapon, after all the brat always had an eye for good weapons.

" Hmm... yes. Why? "

" I want to try the other method."

Elder Shi was surprised. Hammering techniques were deeply analysed by their association but the qualifications required for using such techniques were quite high.

Such a method wasn't without merits, unlike Qi Forging Hammering increases the probability of successfully forging a weapon by several folds.

Forger association would obviously not let go of such an amazing method. They did try to make use of it but alas noone was able to do so or more specifically the highest class of weapon they could forge was class five weapons.

" Why? That path is limited, atmost you can make a class five weapon and that is if you can persist for long years."

" I don't know. When I saw your forging I was interested but not to the point where I can fully focus on it."

These words caught Elder shi's attention. During these past couple of months he kind of understood Zoro's character.

To those things he was dedicated to Zoro would give his all, this was evident from his achievements in the sword. Even elder Shi was inferior to Zoro at his age, infact not many could surpass Zoro in that aspect.

" Are you sure you want to walk this path?. Cause if you ever regret it all the effort you put in it will be useless."

" I know. Just introduce me to this so called Hammer techniques, if it's not suitable I will retreat."

Elder Shi nodded. He was satisfied with Zoro's reply, being obstinate over something was harmful for future development even for a genius like Zoro.

" Here go through this. It's a method I obtained once from a vestige of an underworld tribe."

Zoro caught a slightly worn out book. From its appearance it was evident of its age. On the cover several large words were embedded.

" Meteor Hammering "

Underworld tribe, one of the most prominent tribes from the ancient past. It is said that at their peak they could even make weapon far stronger than class nine. But the years wiped away every trace about them.

Zoro flipped through the pages, on every page a large bulky man stood there holding a hammer.

As he went through them, the man seemed to be moving. His every strike resembled a meteor descending on earth. Zoro was mesmerized by these pictures.

While he was lost in thought Elder Shi sitting opposite to him looked like he saw a ghost. He looked at the absentminded Zoro in shock.

' What the!?!*# One realm!? The kid actually entered such a realm by merely looking through those pages!? '

Elder Shi couldn't believe what was happening, he pinched his flesh and rubbed his eyes to make sure this was happening.

' It's real!!? '

One realm, a realm every forger hoped to enter but only a select few had the chance to, Elder Shi himself only entered this realm few times and that was because he was a Warrior King!!

Zoro felt a rhythm to these pictures, like how he used his swords. He watched as each strike dawned upon a mass of metal Infront of the man, the metal slowly changed.

With each strike dregs felt apart from and was burned away by the flames, Slowly it took the shape of an Axe. Zoro didn't know how long he watched it but he saw an inordinary metal take shape and become an axe.

These actions continued, the man again started his forging, this time it was a sword, then a spear, then a shield, arm guard.... like this the man went through several weapons.

Zoro felt his head throb, weakness was starting to spread through him. He felt his blood boil, and surge through him.

' Oh shit!! '

Elder Shi who was watching Zoro saw him shiver, blood seeped out from his nose and ears. He immediately waved his hands and knocking out Zoro. He checked his pulse and sighed.

' Phew.... Looks like he still isn't strong enough to enter that realm for too long.'

Frankly speaking elder Shi was relieved, atleast now Zoro resembled a human.

He put a pill inside his mouth and fed some water, he put him on his bed and left.

Zoro didn't know what happened, one second he was flipping through some pages the next second he went black.
