Is It Home?

While Mio sat in the back with the lady they didn't say anything for hours till they we about ten minutes away. The Lady spoke first "I'm sorry I didn't speak to you at first this is only my fifth time doing this and I'm still nervous and it my first time doing this on my own." she paused then smiled. "I'm Mrs Kelly, and you will love your new home the family there will love you, trust me on this, They're super nice especially there two children Mike and Ani and once you get to know them I'm sure you'll fit right in and you'll start school in two days." She smiled happily. Mio nodded with a shy smile and before she could speak to say thanks, Mrs Kelly spoke quickly and positively "So, Do you have any Questions Mio?" Mio nodded again and her amber eyes shined brightly when the car stopped and Mio looked out the window to see a nice and warm friendly neighborhood. She also saw the two story brick house with a garden filled with many kinds of flowers and one wooden porch in the front. And before she knew it the door in front of her opened and the concrete ground is what she saw. Mio looked up slowly and and saw the family standing there with the family smiling. The Mother spoke and smiling "Hi Mio, Mrs Kelly told all of us about you and you really are just so cute! Well anyways Mio let Ani show you to where your room is while me and Joe do some paperwork!" She Smiled and Mio nodded and gave a small smile back and went up to Ani. "Hi Mio As you already know I'm Ani and I'll show you where your room is and if Mike is being an ass don't listen to him." she spoke gleefully before she spoke once more "Now let's go!" She grabbed Mio's rists and pulled her inside and up stairs to a room with two sides split in two with a line of tape and one side looked empty with a blanket and a few stuffed animals and the other was filled with things that were unusual to her. Ani Smiled and said "Here I Chose this art easel for you! and will be sharing a room." She smiled and Mio smiled and said thank you and placed the easel by the window. Ani looked happily "thoses stuffed animals on your bed are from all of us and sense your knew to the family were gonna go shopping next weekend for you and so you can decorate your room your style" She said determine. Mio nodded and asked "what does the art easel do?" "That? You can use it when you painting or when you draw and I hope we can draw together sometimes And maybe We can watch some ANIME!" She answered happily. Mio nodded and was interrupted again before she could say something "Do you have anything in the trunk of the car?" Mio nodded "yes but it's just clothes.." she said. She answered quickly "I'll go get your luggage then! and I've always wanted a sister!" She ran quickly out of the room and down stairs and out to the car. Mio looked out the window and watched everything happen and after ten minutes the car pulled away. She soon later Saw Ani and Mike come in the room and Ani placed her luggage by her bed and then Mike and Ani closed the door and Ani sat on her bed while Mike sat in a chair both on Ani's side of the room and Mike asked "So what was you life before you came here?" Ani's voice followed "Yeah! What was it like!" Mio looked down and spoke quietly "It was..." her voice got quiter and more shakey "painful...and we'll way beyond than you could ever imagine of what it is like...but I guess you will never know because you live a life of joy and happiness..." Mike looked confused "What?!? that makes no sense to me and your only seven like me but my sister is the oldest here so she might know! right sis?" "actually no I don't understand what she means. and I'm only three years older Mike!" Ani gulps honestly. Mio looks away and sits in the floor and Ani asks "do you like the floor?" "clueless as ever..." Mike mumbles. Mio nodded and the room fell quiet and the air grew heavy almost like there was an elephant in the room.
