The Elephant in the room.

They all were looking at each other till Mio looked down and turned away. Ani spoke with a crack in her voice "umm...how about we let Mio get some sleep. Right brother?" Mike nodded as he got up and headed to the door and before he left "Goodnight Ani and... Mio." He said with a forced smile. Ani sat on her bed and looked at Mio. "Hey Mio?" Ani spoke, and Mio turned to look at her. "Aren't you gonna sleep on your bed?" Ani asked. Mio Shook her head no. Ani bit her lip in wonder why and then spoke again "you could get splinters sleeping on the floor Mio. and umm... you don't have a blanket nor pillow down there with you." Mio layed down on the floor and tuned away from her and spoke "I'll be fine, Ani, don't worry about me..." Ani looked sadly and said solumly "Mio...well umm...goodnight." She got ready for bed and then plopped down in to bed laying in bed closing her eyes. While Mio just layed on the floor stairing under the bed that was barren but Mio knew that she was gonna stay here for a while and have more freedom than when she was in the lab. She waited till morning without a wink of sleep in this unusual environment. When the morning sun began to shine. That's when Mio got up and went downstairs and sat down cris cross apple sauce style on the floor with her hands in her lap by the TV. She closed her eyes looking like she was meditating. About a few hours later she heard footsteps walk by her and she opened her eyes to see their mother going to the kitchen. Mio got up and followed once she was in the kitchen and she peered by the arched doorway watching what she was doing in curiosity. Till she turned unexpectedly and saw Mio using the wall for cover but watching "Oh! Mio I didn't realize you were awake. Want to help me?" She said suprised. Mio nodded and came up to her. Then She told her what they had to do.
