Scam
The Day Bat screamed as a large visible sonar ability appeared all over the arena. Strangely enough the sound was actually quite soothing and didn't hurt anyone's ears like they thought it would
The Ember Lion roared as flames shot out from both its mane and tail at the same time. The Day Bat dodged as it glided in the air whilst the flames followed it like homing missiles that wouldn't stop until it hit its target
Sizz* Sizz*
The flames erupted suddenly as it made contact with the bat, the opposing side's monster screeched which disrupted the flames and dissolved them into the air. It then screamed which disrupted the lion's movements as it dove in with its fangs enlarged to a full height of 1.3 meters in length
The Ember Lion who had its movements disrupted used the little amount of vision it had to dodge slightly however the huge fangs still grazed its body giving it a large cut on its skin. The Day Bat's attacks didn't end there, it swooped in once again and continuously cut down the Ember Lion
Under its endless assault, the Ember Lion cried as blood tripped from all over its blazing body. Before it was taken down, the Ember Lion gave out a fierce roar using all its might rendering the Day Bat slightly immobile
Using this chance, it moved its wounded body and shot out a blast of fire from its mouth that engulfed the opponent. The Day Bat shot out rays of blinding light from its body as its wounds begin recovering slowly whilst it took flight into the air like a holy angel
It's wings of light blinded the unholy foe before it as the rays of light begins to take form in its mouth
Whiz* Whiz*
Energy of the light element gathered in its mouth as the Ember Lion had almost no fighting strength left rendering it unable to move. The Day Bat shot its holy beam at the Ember Lion instantly blasting it far behind its master, making it crash into the arena walls
"And here we have it! Give it all to our winner, Dark Ripper!!!" the announcer proclaimed into his mic
"Yea!!!!" the crowd cheered for Dark Ripper as he waved to the crowd. Wang Tao's mouth twitched as he whispered "Uh he won pretty fast what was so exciting about it?"
"Not sure but let's just go with it so no one will complain." Ye Qin replied back
"Now let us begin the next match between Green Peanut and Blue Sausage!" the announcer said after the two previous contestants left the arena

"..."
Ye Qin's groups' mouths all twitched in unison hearing the names of the contestants. "Who's coming up with these names? First some edgy wrestler names and now colored food?" Wang Tao twitched
"..."
"These names…" Su Guiying agreed. Ye Qin shook his head as Green Peanut appeared on the stage. The crowd once again cheered for the man wearing a green outfit that didn't look even remotely close to that of a peanut
On the other side, Blue Sausage wore a yellow banana costume making one daring person in the crowd curse "What the f*ck is this a scam? How is that a 'blue sausage'!!!"
Some others around them nodded whilst others glared angrily at them making them quiet down as the two contestants called out their monsters

Its agileness and aggressive ability are as fast and fierce like thunder. Its skin can be shed unlimitedly to use as a decoy whilst the main body attacks from elsewhere]
"Oh? This should be interesting, a battle between snakes. Not only that it's a battle between wind and lightning elements which both specialise in speed. This reminds me of a certain monkey.." Wang Tao said
Ye Qin nodded as Su Guiying asked "A certain monkey?"
"Yup just someone we know." Wang Tao laughed as the battle began below them
Hiss* Hiss*
"Are you ready?!" the announcer exclaimed
"Yea!!!" the crowd cheered
"And begin!!!" the announcer continued
Hiss* Hiss*
Both monsters turned into flashes of green and yellow lights respectively as they disappeared from their original places and reappeared elsewhere
Bang*
The two monsters clashed using identical attacks in which neither gave in to the other

The Wind Python's tail created a tiny tornado as it spun its body by 480 degrees and flung the small tornado at the Flash Conda. The small tornado grew in size as it picked up some wind until it became big enough to fill half of the arena

The Flash Conda was nowhere to be seen then suddenly dark clouds loomed over the arena even though it was indoor. A huge bolt of golden lightning struck down on the tornado as the two energies rubbed against each other creating sparks that could potentially cause a fir
Boom* Crash*
The two energies exploded as they made contact with each other. The two monsters turned into a bolt of energy as they dived straight into the midst of their own attacks and collided
Boom* Crash*
Sparks were flying off their attacks as the monsters attacked each other endlessly with their great speeds which are further boosted by their respective elements of wind and lightning
Hiss* Hiss*
After a flurry of attacks, the two monsters' attacks dispersed as the monsters revealed themselves in a larger form than before. The monsters coiled around each other holding themselves in a deadlock with wounds all over their bodies
Even then, Ye Qin could tell that the Wind Python suffered more damage not from the surface wounds, but rather because he knew that the one level difference made a large difference in the battle
After hissing at each other, the Wind Python's grip began to loosen. The Flash Conda took advantage of this and sent a jolt of lightning throughout its body onto the Wind Python
Bzz* Bzz*
Hiss* Hiss*
Before giving out, the Wind Python sent out a wave of indiscriminate venom in every direction almost hitting the crowd and even the trainers themselves. The Flash Conda protected itself in its lightning and took a bite into the Wind Python's steel like flesh as it shredded the protection of its foe and sent a wave of lightning inside its body
Luckily it knew how to hold back and only knocked out the opponent rather than killing it before it hissed as lightning hit the stage in a circle around it before returning by its masters' side
"And there we have it folks! Blue Sausage is the winner!" the announcer said as he waved both his arms like a cross
The crowd became rowdy once again as another round comes to a close with one basking in glory whilst the other in shame and regret. After the match ended, the announcer called for a short 5 minute break

After the short break, the announcer came back filled with energy and began announcing once again. "Now, who enjoyed the previous two matches?!" he said as he pointed his mic towards the crowd
"Me!!!"
"Us!!" the crowd replied in unison
"Then get ready for some more exciting matches to come!!! The next one will be a two on two match between some veterans!"
"And here they come now! Give our men a huge round of applause!!" the announcer shouted
Flick*
From one side two men stepped out wearing matching uniforms whilst on the other side two women wearing soldier kits walked in calmly as both sides waved towards the crowd
"It's the Sweet Scent duo and the Rough Rock duo!!!" the crowd yelled
Wang Tao turned around and poked someone on the shoulder and asked "So how strong are they?"
"Ah you don't know of the Sweet Scent duo or the Rough Rock duo? You lot must be new to town, I'm guessing you must be newly enrolled students?" the person replied happily
"Oh you're actually quite bright despite how you look huh? But you didn't answer my question." Wang Tao replied
"..."
The man's mouth twitched before replying "Well they have been participating for a couple years now and the Sweet Scent duo in particular have always made it pretty far in every time they participate. Though that's the furthest they've ever gotten whilst the Rough Rock duo aren't as strong, they can still put up a good fight."
"Oh I see thanks." Wang Tao nodded as he focused back onto the stage
Back on the stage, both sides were ready to summon their monsters out when the announcer made his call. "Once again, are you ready!!!?" he shouted
"YES WE ARE!!!" the crowd screamed back
"Then let's get started!!!" the announcer shouted
