Under the Sea IV
Boom!
The water cannons were dodged, flying past the dragons and high into the ceiling. No sound was heard as if the ceiling was endless.
Rather than firing a beam of energy down into the water, the Qiulong and Yinglong used a more efficient method. By aiming their attacks upward, then splitting off the beams separately in smaller sections, they would create a rain-like effect.
Doing this, the twin dragons fired like crazy, the multitudes of small gold and silver beams split off like lasers, endlessly slaughtering the lobsters hidden beneath the sea.
Even as their kind was being massacred, the lobsters didn't try to resurface. Instead, they remained underwater, while shooting out and an endless amount of water cannons from their two pincers.
The cannons were shot out, slowly. The golden and silver energy flowed like noodles in the sea, cutting down lobsters as well as eliminating the water cannons at the same time.
Within just a few minutes, thousands of the lobsters were killed. An endless amount of notifications rang within Ye Qin's head. Even after killing so many, he didn't get any notification that said the dragons had leveled up.
Despite killing so many monsters that were of higher grade, and level, the twin dragons didn't level up. However, their xp bars were getting filled up quickly. As they killed more and more lobsters, it seemed as though the number was endless.
No matter how much they killed, the numbers didn't seem to be decreasing. In fact, it seemed to be increasing. But this was fortunate for him, if they continued to spawn like this, he would be able to gain a huge amount of xp in a short time.
Watching from his spot, tens upon thousands of lobsters were killed. The battle was boring to watch, but nevertheless, xp was still xp.

A few hours later, it was still ongoing. The twin dragons were running out of energy, as for the number of lobsters, the number had decreased significantly. During these past few hours, the Qiulong and Yinglong had both leveled up.
Once they did, their energy was refilled completely, allowing them to continue the slaughter-fest. By now, they were already approaching the next level and would be a step closer to level forty.
After forty minutes, all of the lobsters were killed. The twin dragons could finally rest, Ye Qin got down, aiming his smartwatch, and collected the bodies of the lobsters like a vacuum.
Even though he didn't find treasure, the amount of xp he gained was more than worth spending time to explore the ruins. If every ruin he found was like this, it would be great. Unfortunately, he didn't think that would happen.
Even with his MC aura, finding a flood dragon, as well as over a hundred thousand monsters within two weeks was already a load of luck. It would be almost impossible for him to be lucky again so soon unless the author had issues, otherwise, this wouldn't happen.
Nevertheless, he was still happy with this trip. Even if he found nothing in the other ruins, it was already more than worth it. After looting all the corpses, he turned back to leave and cross the passageway again.
When he arrived, he noticed Long Bing Rong was already back. He didn't say anything, as he awaited Wang Tao's arrival. A little while later, Wang Tao came out from his pathway.
"Phew, that took a while to clean. In the end, it was worth it." Wang Tal muttered. Ye Qin nodded his head, the three of them quickly left the ruins and headed for the next one.

A large creature was seen crashing into the cave walls. As it crashed, it howled loudly, as its body stopped moving. Across from it, three youths were seen standing behind a group of dragons and tigers.
The huge monster that crashed into the wall, was a large clam. Its defense was incredibly tough, due to its shell. It's only weakness was the soft flesh on the inside, it was tough to be able to expose the flesh and attack at the same time.
A golden dragon, a silver dragon, and a golden tiger were seen across from the huge clam. The three monsters had sent it flying into the cave walls, slightly exposing its inner flesh.
"Now." a youth muttered.
At the same time, the three monsters came together, firing a single joint attack into the flesh of the clam.
Boom!
In an instant, the soft flesh was penetrated, the hard shell around it cracked into a million pieces, while the soft inner flesh slowly disintegrated like ashes.

After killing the giant clam, a sound was heard within the mind of a single youth. The youth was Ye Qin, while Wang Tao and Long Bing Rong were beside him. Long Bing Rong didn't participate, her monsters were strong enough.
Only the two brothers had a shot so that they could gain more quickly. When the huge clam died, the water beneath their feet slowly washed away as though they were being drained.
A hole was seen in the middle of the ground. Without hesitating, Ye Qin was the first to jump through, followed by Wang Tao and Long Bing Rong in that order.
Inside the hole, the surroundings were dark. They could only see that they were inside a glass-like slide that would lead them somewhere, most likely the exit. The three of them had spent another few days exploring some ruins.
Of course, they had found no treasure once again. Only monsters for them to battle, which was what they needed most. Now, there were only three ruins left for them to explore.
The five dragons had returned to him, and each gained a single level. With only a few ruins left, the remaining time was just over a week until the earliest time given to them by the Mermen king had told them of.
With only three ruins left, it was perfect. The three of them went separately, each exploring a ruin. Heading off, Ye Qin arrived at the last ruin after a few hours of travel.
The final ruins were different, compared to the rest. While the outside appeared to be just a cavern, the inside was more like a water temple. Even before entering, he could sense the aura of many kinds of sea creatures within.
At the same time, seven magic circles appeared around him. He called upon his seven dragons at once, in their smaller forms to fit within. As they entered, many kinds of monsters were already awaiting them.

Amongst those three, a couple more monsters were there. All their levels were fairly high, if he kept encountering monsters the deeper he went, he would probably level up again.
The monsters were numerous. They numbered over a thousand, this was just the entrance, and already many monsters were waiting for them. If they continued further, the number would only grow considerably.
This was good, the more monsters they faced, the faster the dragons would level up. Since he had seven dragons, each requiring a huge amount of xp just to level up once, the higher the number of monsters, the better.

As the army of sea monsters banded together, the twin dragons gathered their energy, not inside their mouths, but rather around their entire bodies. The Qiulong's entire body shined in golden light, creating a thin armor-like aura around it. The Yinglong was surrounded by a silver-colored version.
The twin dragons burst out with great speed, instantly blasting through a hoard of monsters at once. Along with the great speed, their large and extremely tough bodies, and powerful claws shredded apart the unfortunate monsters that blocked their path.
From behind, Ye Qin simply watched, as his dragons mowed through the monsters like grass. Within thirty seconds, the monsters were all killed. Despite being a higher level and grade, they were a much weaker species in general, making it easy to kill them with a single attack.
After all, the dragon race was known not only for their powerful breath attacks, but their even greater physical prowess. All dragons were born with extremely strong flesh and scales, almost impenetrable against monsters the same level or even higher.
Their claws and fangs were also exceeding strong and sharp, making them virtually invincible. Just by killing those sea monsters, the xp bar was at ninety-nine percent until the next level.
Once they leveled up, he would need to switch them out for the other five dragons. Currently, the twin dragons were exceedingly powerful. In comparison, the other five didn't possess as much combat power, whether it was in element or abilities.
Only their physical prowess was comparable. Ye Qin believed that the five of them could possibly become as strong as the other two if they were to evolve. However, he couldn't think of anything that was more powerful than space and time itself.
Even controlling life and death, or the reincarnation cycle of samsara still paled in comparison with space and time. Unless one of the dragons could literally control the life and death of anything, only then would it be comparable or even greater than the twin dragons.
Moving on ahead, the twin dragons lead the way, while Ye Qin sat atop the flood dragon. It followed behind the dragons, letting them do their work. Even though it was Ye Qin's follower, it was more like his mount.
Even if it wanted to express its opinion, it still had to look at the face of the seven dragons first. After heading straight for a solid thirty minutes, they arrived at a large hallway filled with pillars.
There, Ye Qin sensed the presence of thousands of monsters once again. The monsters were the same as before but came in a much larger quantity. Once again, the twin dragons shot out.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Their bodies blasted against the sea monsters, turning them into pools of blood. After killing a portion of them, a notification rang him Ye Qin's mind.

The twin dragons returned while in the middle of the battle. Instead, two dragons replaced the twin dragons. The fire dragon and the frost dragon covered themselves in red and blue energy respectively, doing exactly the same as the Qiulong and Yinglong.
Since their bodies were just as strong, they quickly mowed down the thousands of monsters. Despite being disadvantaged in element, the fire dragon still quickly made short work of the sea monsters.
While their comrades were dying, the remaining monsters didn't flee. Instead, they used all their energy, sending out attacks at the dragons. Unfortunately, the dragons were not only fast but also incredibly tough.
Even the attacks that they didn't manage to dodge only lightly hit their scales and a small amount of smoke came trailing behind. No real damage was done as if the dragons were invincible.
Soaring through the smoke, the fire and ice dragons moved around like sea snakes, opening their mouths and claws, as they killed everything that blocked their path.
