War Begins II

Under the deep and vast seas of the Human Realm, an unexplored 'land' that humans hadn't set foot in for thousands of years, was a war between the citizens that lived undersea. Two sides, a defending and an attacking side making up the two sides of the war. Both sides sought help from the outside, as the war began shortly.

As the defending side had just won the first wave of the war and were celebrating with the best food and finest wines, a huge looming shadow that resembled thunderclouds above the surface covered the entire kingdom and erased almost all light. A giant living creature that was as big as an entire mountain covered the entire kingdom like a giant meteor that was falling down to the Earth.

Seeing the giant living creature, the morale of the soldiers that were boosted earlier from their win was lowered dramatically.

The colossal sized sea creature was directly above the entire kingdom, enshrouding the kingdom in darkness with its ginourmous size alone. Suddenly, a golden light shone brightly amidst the darkness, creating a hope within the darkness.

Seeing the bright light, the soldiers were filled with hope and energy, allowing them to lose their fear and grip their weapons tightly as they prepared to face the enemy. The blindig source of light, was shaped like a huge golden trident. In the hands of their king, the fishmen were filled with a sudden burst of unknown energy that made them fearless.

In the far distance, a huge army that numbered in the tens of thousands saw this blinding light from afar. The bright light, was enough to cause fear in the hearts of the weaker troops, while slightly shaking the veterans.

"The Sea God's Trident." muttered a commander of the opposing side. The huge golden trident, a weapon that was said to be used by the Sea God himself millions of years ago. It was said that the trident was left under the deep sea for millions of years after a great battle between the Sea God and another great being. Millions of years later, the ancestors of the kingdom's kings had managed to bring the trident back and wield it as their own.

Being able to wield the Sea God's Trident meant that one was a great warrior, capable of facing tens of thousands on their own. The trident itself weighed over ten-thousand kilos, with its weight alone able to easily destroy mountains and cleave th seas apart. Of course, its weight wasn't its only factor, otherwise it wouldn't be worthy of its legendary name. The Sea God's Trident also held mysterious powers that only the wielder could use, with each and every individual wielder having a different ability than the last.

Every creature that lived in the sea knew of this legend of the Sea God's Trident. Now, to be able to witness its might in their lives, could make them feel proud and be able to boast in front of their ancestors.

Moments later, the army that numbered tens of thousands charged directly for the kingdom that they were attacking. Each group under a different banner marched in unison and in position without breaking out of sync. As they marched, the loud sound of their marching could be heard thousands of meters away.

Thump! Thump!

All the soldiers of the kingdom could hear was the sound of their enemies coming for them. As they gripped their weapons tightly, they faced forward and waited for the orders of their king. Soon enouh, their thoughts were answered. A huge man wearing golden armor, and holding a huge golden trident in his hand pointed it forward and created a path of light towards the enemy.

"To battle!" A deep voice echoed acrosd the entire kingdom. Immediately, the tens of soldiers charged out towards the enemy, following the golden path created by their king. With the king himself entering the battle, what did they as citizens have to worry about? For a soldier, there was no greater prestige than to be able to fight alongside their king in battle.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The Sea God's Trident was swung around, as large whirlpools were created and blasted towards the enemy. At the same time, two sides of soldiers marched towards each other to fulfil their duties. The king of the fishmen himself came forward and pointed his trident towards the huge shadow that loomed over his kingdom and prepared for battle.

Similarly, Ye Qin also prepared for battle. Now that such a situation had occurred, he would need to contribute whether he liked it or not. Calling out all of his dragons that were with him, he stood in the far back to watch the battle unfold. At the same time, across two other kingdoms, a huge shadow alsp loomed over the heads of the kingdoms. Obviously, the enemy didn't only attack Ye Qin's location, but also attackef Wang Tao and Long Bing Rong's location at the same time. The two of them called out their partners and joined the battle, with all three of them participating in this war.

Whoosh!

A huge sprout of water that was incredibly sharp suddenly appeared out of nowhere across the entire kingdom, close to getting to Ye Qin. The attack was incredibly powerful and destroyed the entire kingdom in an instant, causing buildings to collapse. Fortunately, the soldiers had already moved out. Obviously, the Great Shadow had been charging its attack and waiting for a good time to attack. When its attack dispersed, a huge golden trident was thrown through the water, creating a huge streak of airflow that trailed behind the trident and aimed for the huge creature.

Roar!

Ye Qin's twin dragons, as well as the Flood Dragon, and the Fire Dragon all dashed through the sea and headed for the huge creature as well. Without wasting their energy, the Qiulong and Yinglong didn't use their elemental power to arrive at the enemy in an instant, instead their energy was reserved in case of another unprepared attack by the enemy.

Four dragons, as well as a golden trident, and a huge man came for the colossal creature that didn't defend itself while preparing for its next attack. When the trident landed on its body, a loud explosion occured from the impact of the two sides meeting. Similarly, a loud cry that disrupted the Great Shadow from attacking was heard when the trident landed. When the water cleared, one could see the trident stuck inside the flesh of the huge creature.

It was truly worthy of being the Sea God's Trident. Without any special power, its weight alone pierced through the flesh of such a hugely defensive creature. At the same time, it restarted its charge so that it could send out another water sprout and attack again.

Roar!

Three dragons and a Flood Dragon streaked through the water at the same time and seperated when they got close. A deep roar was heard from them, as they each attacked the large body of the Great Shadow.

The Qiulong's claws and fangs were enshrouded by its Gold element power, making its attacks sharper and more powerful. It zoomed acrosd the entire body of the Great Shadow, with the Yinglong, Fire Fragon, and Flood Dragon doing the same with their own elemental energy.

Meanwhile, down below where the two sides met, the soldiers from both sides were on a killing spree. They fought like madmen, killing every person that was on the opposing side. Swords, axes, spears, arrows pierced and cut through the enemies flesh and ripping them apart. Neither side gave out as they tore each other apart. The commanders of both sided gave out their orders, using strategy and military might to overpower the other side.

Watching from afar, Ye Qin could observe the situation clearly. The soldiers were doing fine, while the huge creature above was slowly being worn down. With the king wielding the Sea God's Trident, and the three dragons and one halfling slowly tearing away at its flesh, the Great Shadow couldn't attack anymore while it was being disrupted each and every time it restarted its attack.

"We've underestimated them. The Sea God's Trident truly lives up to its name. Not only that, their outside help is also extremely powerful. Who knows where they found such help, but three True Dragons, and a Flood Dragon is on their side." a commander spoke so that only himself and whoever he was talking to could hear.

"The situation is similar on our side. A golden tiger, as well as a purple tiger and two True Dragons have appeared." one person replied.

"Same here, my side is even worst. There are actually four True Dragons! It's not looking too well." another person replied.

"Continue your advance. Reinforcements are heading in each of your directions. Commander 0128, 'That' thing is coming to your side." a mysterious voice interjected the conversation.

"What?! 'That' thing is coming?! If that's true, then we've won this war already."

"Precisely, just hang on for some time while we send it over. Even if all the troops are gone, as long as it arrives on time, the war is over." the mysterious voice said, no longer connected to their channel.

"Tch, so 'That' thing is coming to you, I'm jealous. Not only did you get to attack the main enemy, your reinforcements are also greater than ours."

"Can you use your brain before speaking? If 'That' thing arrives, all of my merits will be gone since I need it to finish the battle for me." the main commander rebuked.

"He's right, how did you become a commander with your pea-siezed brain? Your strength is below mine, while your intelligence is also below mine, did you go through the back door?"

"F*ck! Shut up and focus on the battle, I'm ending this here!"

As the conversation ended, the three commanders that were speaking to each ther just moments ago drew their weapons and joined the battle themselves.
