Code Name: Kids Next Door

*Couple days later*

(Elektra POV)

It's been about three days since we came to Hubei for the mission. Since we got here, we have been going out of the temple acting like tourists, but in reality we were eavesdropping on members of the gang. From the information we gathered, they have been setting up for the meeting.

Alexa and Damian have been talking to the locals for other information and taking some photos of some members, while Neo and I followed another group of members. We almost got caught, but we just acted like we were just taking a picture of us acting like a couple. I was so glad we didn't get caught because that is just going to be troublesome.

Anyways, today is the day of the mission. Right now, we all just finished dinner and were now getting dressed in our rooms. I put on my gear, which literally makes me look like I'm from SWAT, and put my hair into a braid. I had just finished putting on my combat boots, when a knock came from outside of my room. Neo entered with a smile on his face. "It's time. Let's move out." he said and I mocked with a little salute and answered back "yes sir", causing him to chuckle a bit.

We walked out of the room and met up with Damon and Alexa at the entrance of the temple. Neo clapped his hands together, gaining our attention. "Okay let's do--" "Wait!" We turned to see Li Mu and Jun speed walking to us. "Wait Yu Jie. You can't leave without these." Li Mu said and pointed to Jun who revealed something wrapped around a cloth. He opened the cloth to reveal my old weapons. My bo staff in its miniature form, my fan with knives imbedded in them and my ninja stars that are in the shape of miniature knives.

I ran my hand across them in adoration. I picked up the bo staff and held it in my fingers. "What is that supposed to do? What are you going to do, poke them with it?" Damon said sarcastically. I shut him right up, when I clapped it between both my hands and it transformed to its bigger staff form, glowing a bright purple from the electricity flowing through it, and pointed it to his throat in a really quick movement. He looked scared. I smiled at him in amusement and said "you were saying." I pulled the staff away and made it transform back into its smaller form.

I turned to Li Mu and Jun and said "Thank you. I missed them very much." and then I placed all the weapons in my holsters. They nodded and then turned their attention to Neo. "Neo Colt we have something for you as well." Li Mu said and Neo raised an eyebrow in confusion. "From watching you train with us, we have learned that you seem to have an attraction to swords, so we have brought you something that we believe you will love."

Jun pulled out a back holster with katanas in them and handed it to Neo. Still looking confused, he took it and gave it to Damon to hold while he took out the katanas. The Tsukas, or handles, of the katanas were designed black, red, and gold and the Kens, or blades of the swords, were very clean, shiny, and sharp. Then we notice something on the kens, something is engraved in them.

Taking a closer look it was in Chinese. I began to softly translate it out loud. "Subdue The Dragon And Lame The Tiger." 'Wow' I said to myself. The Katanas were beautiful. Neo was mesmerized by them, but put them back in their holsters. Frantically, he took the back holster from Damon and attempted to give them back. "I cannot accept these. These seem so priceless." he said, but Li Mu shook his head. "They are priceless, but it is our gift to you. You deserve them and we will not accept them back. They are yours." he said as he pushed them back towards Neo.

Neo, after contemplating, accepted the katanas with a generous smile and bowed his head slightly. "Thank you." he said and put the back holster on. "Well we will leave you to your mission. Good Luck and we hope that you come back safely." Li Mu said and then he turned around and walked away with Jun following behind.

We all turned to each other and Damon huffed out some air. "How come we don't get no weapons?" he grumbled. Alexa elbowed him in the side and scolded him. "Dude we literally make our own weapons so shut up." Damon replied back "So what." Alexa rolled her eyes at him in annoyance. "Stop trying to be a smart ass, you're just an ass." Neo and I just chuckled at her statement while Damon just ran his hand over his face. "Come on guys let's do this." Neo said and we followed him out the entrance of the temple

After a while, we arrived at the warehouse where the meeting is going down. We snuk into the building through the back windows on the upper floor. If it weren't for those trees it would have made our job whole lot harder.

One by one, we filed into the large building, simultaneously looking down at the scene below us. A group of about twenty men were sitting in a semi circle around what I presumed was their leader, speaking about a shipment, and each had a gun holster and a sword. Five others were stationed in the perimeter, keeping watch, those would be the easiest to take out.

I gave the signal to Neo and he nodded in return. I watched as he turned into a shadow and blended with his non living brethren, swiftly and silently getting closer to the guards. In a couple of smooth movements he knocked out the guards and gave us the clear, now it was time for our grand entrance.

I glanced at Alexa and she smiled wickedly in response, she was going to enjoy this and she was going to make it a show. She took off her jacket with one hand while taking out her weapon with the other, her leathery wings spread out high and Far, more than ready to launch.

She stood up from her place and swooped down with loudly, causing the attention of every man in the room to turn to her as she let out a barely restrained cackle which was punctuated by the cracks of the now engulfed whips. "Let's get this show on the road!" She yelled as she started to spin her whips rapidly above her, blocking any and every vision from us.

Damon followed suite with his chained scythes, spraying water onto the flames to create an ever expanding smoke screen. I glanced at Neo and saw he was waiting patiently for his que, I nodded at him and we both emerged with our eyes glowing dangerously.

Damon redirected his water to a couple of the members, completely soaking them. I smiled and let out a couple bolts of lightning from my hands, the energy crackling around me as I let out a battle cry. The soaked men were electrocuted and passed, or killed you never know, out quickly. Alexa made a circle around another group with her fire, she crouched down and let Neo use her as a spring board.

He soared above the men and let out a thick black mist from his palms, suffocating and smothering the men in complete and utter darkness before they promptly passed out from running out of air. There were only 10 left to go, as well as the leader. Some had their guns out while others had their swords drawn, it didn't matter to us, we could take them.

A couple of them shot at us, to which Alexa came forward and deflected them with her whip. Damon ran out from behind her and started slashing away at the long range fighters while me and Neo stayed back to fight the swordsman with Alexa interfering when needed. Neo fighting with his new pristine katanas with ease.

I was too preoccupied by what I was doing, I didn't notice the small group of three angry and heavily scarred men walking briskly towards me. I only stopped what I was doing, when I saw the familiar tree like burn marks on their bodies from the corner of my eye. As soon as I realized who they were, I smiled and started walking towards them, every step was filled with determination. I guess they learned from their previous mistakes since they charged at me all at once.

I took out my bo staff, transforming it to it's five foot length, and held it like I did last time, only difference was the confidence and strength behind the stance. My eyes started to crackle lightning from its corners as I hit the ground with the rod and launched myself upwards.

They followed my body and saw me absorb the electricity from the surrounding devices, the rod glowing a bright Purple, indicating it was fully charged with my electricity. I smiled at them one final time and released the charges from the rod. They didn't even have time to react before the lighting was hitting them.They were launched into the surrounding walls where they passed out cold. I was honestly surprised they weren't dead.

I heard a gunshot go off, followed by a high, feminine, youthful scream. We turned to find the leader holding a little girl against him, the barrel of the gun pointed right at her temple. I heard Alexa growl and I was afraid she would loose control, those doubts moved away once she started spinning her whips in front of Neo inconspicuously.

The leader, Chao Tent, opened his mouth and started to speak, "You may have gotten to my weak ass men, but don't think you will manage to get to me! I am the strongest out of any of them. I can singlehandedly take every single one of you down! I made this gang with absolutely no help, just me and my wits. My wisdom and strength will be something none of your weak young minds could ever handle! . . ." I started to tune out whatever the hell he was spouting out of his mouth, even the girl in his arms started to get bored and uninterested. 'God, why is his voice so annoying?'

Finally, I saw Neo sneaking up behind Tent and taking control of his shadow, forcing him to let the Girl go. Neo had a scowl on his face, he places his hands on the leader's jaw and the back of his head while muttering, "Do you ever shut up?" He snapped his neck quickly after that.

The little girl ran to me and hugged my waist. I began to comfort her as I hugged her back. "Hēi, zhè shì hǎo de. Nǐ xiànzài shì ānquán de." (Hey, it's okay. You are safe now.) She nodded in reply and let me go. Alexa came up behind me and slowly knelt down in front of the girl. "Nǐ hǎo, nǐ de míngzì shì shénme." (Hi, what's your name) she asked and the little replied in a whisper like voice, "Jinjing".

We nodded our heads and I asked softly, " Jinjing, Yǒu méiyǒu xiàng nǐ de rènhé qítā rén zài zhèlǐ?" (Jinjing, Are there any others like you here?) She nodded and held my hand and began to guide us to the back where only a red storage container was. Neo ran up to it and felt along the sides of it. "I sense at least thirty people in here. We need to get them out." he said. Damon went to the doors of the container and see it's melted shut. He grunted a little, but he started to knock on different places on then door until finally he stopped and used his palm to hit one specific spot hard and backed away. Both doors of the container fell to the ground it was nothing. 'Woah that was some kind of Bruce Lee shit'.

We looked inside and slowly people started to come into view. Damon said out loud to them, "Méiguānxì. Wǒmen bù huì shānghài nǐ de. Méiguānxì. Nǐ kěyǐ chūlái, líkāi nǐ qǐng." (It's alright. We will not hurt you. It's okay. You can come out and leave as you please.) They slowly and quietly came out of the container and Jinjing ran over to what looked like was her mother. They all walked out muttering, Xièxiè (thank you) with their heads bowed before leaving the building.

Once they all left, we took a quick sweep of the building, making sure no one was left, but the half dead, half passed out gang before calling the authorities. We ran out of the building before they could come and started to head back to the temple with Neo and I behind the bickering friends in front of us with Neo's arm wrapped around my shoulder. It was like we did some Code Name: Kids Next Door shit.
