"Mommy, what's in this box?" Alice aks this while finding a large chest that has a lot of dust on top that looks it hasn't been touched in years. "Oh, this is your father's belongings from when he was younger and he served in the army. "Really so did daddy do cool things?"

Alice asks with excitement on her eyes as this is the first time she knew her dad did such cool things when he was younger, she thought he just worked on the farm his whole life!

"Mommy? how long are we going to be in here? It's scary in here." Alice asked in a somewhat meek and quiet tone with a bit of fear in it.

The slight childish fear of the cellar catches Olivia's attention and hugs her giving her reassurance on the situation. "Don't worry your father will take care of this and it will be over you know it." After making sure Alice felt better she left her and went to make some food since it was early morning.

When she heard her mother making food Alice suddenly remembered that she had left something so she started to walk towards the cellar door and opened it up to sneak out to quickly get it before she was noticed. When Olivia heard the creak of the cellar door she stopped what she set aside the food to make later and went to get Alice to see to who she thought was Jerry opening the cellar to give the signal that they are in the clear but when she got to Alice's room she wasn't there and she realized why the door was opened, her faced paled as she ran to the door and saw her daughter's small figure bobbing through the trees on her way to the house.

Running after Alice, she tries to move quickly but silently to not alert the attention of Vern and his men, but Alice hears a twig snap and as she finally gets out of the woods she turns around to see her mother and trips on a tree root sticking out and lets out a cry. She then looks up and sees a stout man wearing nice clothing with guards and her father, Vern then speaks his surprise "Well, well looks like it's true "Ask and ye shall receive.", guards catch them before they leave and the other holds the farmer down for me!"
