5 Capture

When he sees Vern order his guards to capture his wife and child his face turned to one of utter despair as he dashed towards the guards to give an attempt to stop them, but at the moment he moved the soldier who was next to him instantly grabbed him and put him into a hold to stop him from moving.

"LET GO OF M-"

Jerry is quickly cut off when the guard knocks the wind out of him. and the guard binds him and after letting Jerry regain his breath he forcefully lifts him up, so that he can face Vern.

"As you can see, farmer everything is going my way not only do I get a new concubine but I get to see your face in such a pitiful way... it seems that coming out to this place was truly worth it. Alright, let's go men and take the girl it adds insult to injury. Don't worry about your daughter, I may be cruel but I'm not evil, be grateful." Jerry, enraged at this blatant lie spits at Vern's face.

Vern chuckles at this and wipes his face with a high-quality cloth then kicks the bounded, helpless Jerry, to the ground till he feels satisfied then with contempt "Thrash... alright, load them into the carriage but don't harm them since I want my property to be properly taken care of"

As they load up into the carriage and binding both mother and daughter Jerry can only think of how he is going to get his family back and kill the dammed pig that is dressed up as a human, while Jerry is having these thoughts, on the other hand, Vern is thinking with impatience of how he will have "fun" with Olivia tonight.

As Vern is ready to go he glances back at the farmer and seers at Jerry "If only you hadn't become so weak you could have protected your family but now you can't even do that much less your family the shame must be unbearable, isn't it? Now your precious family is owned by me and you lay here bound up, a lowly man that has lost everything."

As Vern is ridiculing Jerry he sees a scythe, the same for cutting wheat, near the door and seeing this he gets a cruel idea he picks it up and puts it near Jerry. "Why look it seems I was wrong why don't you let this last family member embrace you close that I, such a magnanimous person have left you with? Are you not grateful?"

Jerry knows that Vern is telling him to commit suicide since it seems there is no other option to take away the shame that has been given to him, but he doesn't care, he hates the local lord with all his being, he hates the king for allowing him to do this, he hates the guards that helped this pig, and he hates all of the corruption in this kingdom!

...

As a young soldier in training, it was clear to him that it was filled with corruption, it was by using the corruption of the kingdom he was able to become well known, but he never liked using it once but what choice did he have back then, get trampled over?

After swearing to Olivia to take his family away from the corruption he now realizes that its impossible, you can't run away from it but you can destroy it so it never spreads again. Now that he has sworn to do two things kill this pig and kill the rest so that his family can be happy.

...

Now that he looks at the scythe right at his face and listening to Vern's implication he could only look at him and say one thing "Bastard."

"Tch guess a thrashy farmer could never understand the generosity of a man such as great as me, sigh, its a waste." he says this feigning a dejected voice and enters the carriage leaving Jerry alone with the scythe.
