Exploring for the first time

After walking around the main street for a short while you could see who favoured what shops, Harry's eyes were almost peeled open by the sheer force he was using to stare through the window of Quality Quidditch Supplies store. To be exact, he was looking at one of the newish models known as the Nimbus 1900, said to be the current best in terms of speed, endurance and ripping you off.

No, like, seriously. This broom costs around 500 galleons... when Fleamont and Harry saw the price, their faces dropped almost immediately whilst Philip just gave a small frown before returning to his usual nonchalant expression. Euphemia could be seen smiling gently which made Fleamont a little scared, he thought about all the times he had seen that expression on her and how painful it was each time, yes, painful! not lovely!.

Seeing how interested Harry was in all the kinds of items to do with Quidditch, they other three thought it would be a good idea to go in and look around too, whilst Philip wasn't entirely interested in Quidditch, he did at least enjoy watching his brother having a good time with the things he loved.

Upon walking in, they noticed the walls were littered with posters and items all to do with Quidditch games from the past, news about the newer types and all the current stars of Quidditch around the world.

Philip looked up from his book and glanced around the shop for a brief moment, noticing the shop wasn't packed but also wasn't empty, it was rather standard if anything. As such, he went back to glancing at Harry whilst reading a book.

After a few minutes of looking around the store, they turned around and made their way out back onto the main street to take a look around some more shops. Making their way down the street a bit further, Philip noticed a shop he was slightly interested in called Flourish and Blotts which supposedly sold most of the necessities for your Hogwarts school life, naturally, there was plenty of other books too ranging from Magical creatures all the way to Muggle-born cars and how to work them. This greatly interested both Philip and Harry which made Fleamont and Euphemia giggle.

"Grandpa, Grandma, can we go there next?" Harry said as he pointed towards the store.

"Hahaha, I think you'll find that Philip's already made his way into the store" Euphemia said with a big grin.

It was just like Philip to get excited at the sight of new knowledge.

Harry looked around before noticing what Euphemia said was true, Philip had already dashed into the store and could be seen through a window in the shaded side of the store browsing through one of the many books across the walls. Having seen this, Harry also ran in and made his way towards Philip to see what he was up to, Euphemia and Fleamont followed straight after whilst smiling.

They were both happy that the boys were getting to experience new things and finding more things that they're interested in and such. For the two boys that barely ever asked for anything from them, it was rare to see that they were so curious about a multitude of things, Philip more so, of course. His thirst for knowledge left him wanting more and more each time, Flourish and Blotts was practically a mini haven for him.

Harry made his way over to a separate bookshelf and was now reading a book called "The Quidditch League 1967" which he seemed to be enjoying extensively. Philip on the other hand was looking over multiple books at once before tightly folding them to a close, he then proceeded to make his way over to Euphemia and Fleamont which were watching the two twins from the sidelines.

"Grandpa Fleamont, Grandma Euphemia, would you mind if I could purchase some of these books?" Philip asked with a pleading look, Harry having felt the situation closed the book he was looking through before promptly making his way over and adding an additional "Please" to the end of Philip's sentence.

Euphemia and Fleamont looked at each other once before falling into a burst of laughter which confused the two boys slightly, "Hahahaha! honestly, I never thought you'd ask for anything Philip. Even though you've both asked to learn things in the past, we've never seen you ask for something that can be purchased before which brings us much surprise." - Fleamont replies.

Philip hung his head down slightly before turning it up once more, "Is that a no, then?" Philip said with slightly disappointed eyes.

This instantly made Euphemia and Fleamont feel guilty for teasing the poor boy.

"No no no, of course you can have it Philip. Hell, we'll buy you every book in this store if that's what you wish.. Grandpa Fleamont was only joking around, we're sorry if it hurt your feelings." Euphemia says with a bit of a sad expression.

Surprisingly, Philip didn't even try to reprimand them or get angry at all, he simply gave a calm and cool smile before quietly making his way over to the counter and asking for a list of certain books that he wanted, Harry, Fleamont and Euphemia each made their way over to him before promptly placing a few books on the order list themselves.

Once they had finished paying, they paid their respects to the Owner and left the store leading them back onto the main street once more. They walked and talked for a while before Euphemia abruptly said she remembered of a place near their location called Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour which supposedly sold some extremely tasty desserts for them to snack on and take a break from the constant store-searching.

After ordering their individual flavours, they all sat down on the ledge of the center fountain, which had gargoyles protruding from a cylinder statue in the middle, gently sending streams of water back into the fountain.

Also, the flavours they each chose went as so:

Harry has a honey nut pumpkin pie with pixie dust sprinkled on top which was said to make the eater smell like honey for a period of time.

Fleamont has a butter beer shake with caramel latte sprinkles covering the top of it which makes the eater have slightly enhanced senses for a small period of time.

Euphemia had a marshmellow and vanilla coffee with cloud dust sprinkled on top which makes the eater have a small jump to their step and adopt a much more carefree attitude for a few hours.

Philip had a bubblegum and mellow mocha with aqua dust ice shavings coating the top leaving the eater in a state of focus for an extended period of time.
