Somewhere new

Philip was the first to get over the horrendous feeling, he lifted his head to look around and saw that they were all currently standing in a dim lit room, it was a rather small one with not much to it other than the necessities for a bedroom such as a bed, bedside cabinet, muggle light and a small clock gently ticking away.

Fleamont was already moving around the room as if he was checking on the condition of the items here, if one looked close enough, you could see there was a thick layer of dust covering a lot of the furniture here. It seemed as though this room hadn't been touched in a very long time.

After a short while, Harry raised his head whilst still looking slightly lethargic, he quickly looked around and noticed that the room wasn't anything special so he didn't take too much note of it.

"Right then, come over here boys" Euphemia says as she calls Harry, Philip and Fleamont over to a side door of the room. She gave the door 3 gentle knocks before turning the door knob counter-clockwise and then pulling the door open. Harry and Philip peered around Euphemia's sides to see what exactly was beyond the door, what greeted their eyes was a very kempt courtyard with a simple statue in the middle presenting a female gowned in silk covering the majority of her body.

After a brief look around, Euphemia made her way towards the statue, which in turn gained the interest of both Harry and Philip. Within a few seconds of Euphemia standing near the statue, it promptly started moving it's head to face Euphemia, as though it was staring at her, before moving it's left hand towards a small covering of silk near the bottom of the statue and gently pulling it to the side whilst smiling.

Harry was shocked that such a thing was possible as he hadn't seen such a level of transfiguration before whilst Philip just looked on in interest. Euphemia once again called the boys over before abruptly walking through the area underneath the statue which was once corded off by the silk dressing. Just like that, she disappeared from the view of Harry and Philip through the wall, after a few seconds of being stunned, they both felt a small push on the back. They turned only to notice Fleamont there holding them whilst smiling, he gave them a gentle push through the wall and they all proceeded to the other side.

The scene was partially similar to what they remembered Diagon Alley being like, the streets were bustling with multiple wizards and witches walking to-an-thro shops and alleys. Except, this time, the buildings they saw looked a lot more... new? Philip and Harry couldn't quite put their finger on it, but to say the least, it was a very different style compared to what they were use to.

Diagon Alley appeared more like those buildings that appeared in a previous muggle era known as the Victorian times, whereas, these ones appeared to be more like the buildings you would see in Central London. It seemed as though this area of the wizardry world had not been entirely corded off from the rest of the world, especially in terms of technology. If one looked around, they would notice simple yet very muggle-like things such as street lamps, roads, bins and especially the main thing which any one wizard quite simply couldn't miss... Cars!

For Harry and Philip, this was the first time in their lives in which they had seen a muggle-like car, it truly fascinated the both of them as it was slightly more rare to see such things unless they went out into the muggle-world. Being raised the majority of their lives in the wizardry-world, they had never gotten the chance to go out and explore such simple things.

There wasn't just one, or two cars either, but rather, on either side of the 'road' there was cars parked neatly in order with cars also bustling up and down the street as though it was a very common thing here.

Whilst taking in the sights and looking mostly towards the cars, they started making their way through the bustling streets moving along with the crowd, whilst Harry and Philip didn't know where they would end up yet.. they already felt quite satisfied just with the things they had seen already.

After a while of walking, they turned down onto a certain road which seemed slightly more empty than before, as they were walking further down the road, it slowly but surely came to the point where there was only 2-3 buildings every once in a while... and there at the end of the road appeared one building on top of a small mound-styled hill standing high in all it's glory. The house appeared almost similar to their own, just slightly newer and a bit smaller.

As they reached the entrance to the house, it was sealed off by a rather large metallic black gate with a thin layer of magic coating the exterior of the house, almost like a barrier. Euphemia presented herself at the gate whilst saying a few simple words in what appeared as some other language, before promptly standing back allowing for the gate to open itself to them.

They entered through the main gate and made their way up to the front door of the 'Mansion' before slowly piling in and placing their small suitcases on the ground.

Euphemia and Fleamont then turned to both Harry and Philip,

"We're here finally, I guess you're wondering where we are currently right boys?" Euphemia said to which both Harry and Philip nodded. "Well, as i'm sure you've both noticed, this place is slightly more advanced in terms of the technology it has compared to Diagon Alley, right?" Euphemia said once more to which they nodded yet again. "There's a very good reason for that! it's cause we are now in another country known as America! we had been planning this for a while and wanted to bring you two here so that you could learn a few things and also have a relaxing time for your birthday rather than studying continuously... you'll have plenty of time to do that in Hogwarts after all." Fleamont finished off.

By the time Euphemia and Fleamont had finished their monologue, Harry's eyes had already expanded widely and he looked very excited whilst even Philip looked slightly more shocked and happy about the overall situation, it wasn't very often that you got to leave to another country after all.
