Back to Diagon Alley.. again.

Realising that they had little to no time to respond, Fleamont decidedly got both the boys responses prepared whilst also writing a personal message to Albus Dumbledore himself, before swiftly sealing the envelope with the Potters blue signature crest, attaching the letters to Fleamonts pet Owl, Bloo and allowing for the owl to fly off freely towards its destination.

Taking a read through the second page given in the Hogwarts letter once more, the family realised that they would have to still go and get the equipment from Diagon Alley. Luckily, the two boys already had the study material for the course books required in their first year due to the sheer amount of books that Philip had accumulated over his many years of reading.

Harry was very excited when he remembered that they'd be going to get their wands soon too whilst Philip was pondering as to what kind of wand he would receive. In a book he was given before, he had read that the wand chooses the user and was wondering how they went about finding a resonance or correlation between the user and the wand. He decided that before he went to Hogwarts, he would try to gather some study material on wands and what made each one so unique from the next.

Seeing the reaction of both of them, Fleamont and Euphemia giggled once more, even if the two boys had matured, you could still tell that they were excited to get their wands, even if Philip's face rarely showed it. But then again, who wouldn't be happy to receive their wand, it was practically the catalyst of all spells for wizards and witches, with a few exceptions, of course.

They would also need to go and get their robes made and fitted to size for the Hogwarts Uniform, thus, they decided to go sooner than later as some of the things may take a slightly longer amount of time to get prepared. For the rest of the day, the family of five decided to play some muggle games such as a board game called monopoly. Despite it being a muggle game and something they wasn't entirely use to, they still enjoyed it a lot and Philip had won in the end with Euphemia being the closest to his astounding total amount of money at the end of the game.

Alas, the next day had come by. Harry, Fleamont and Euphemia were all ready and set to go at the fire place in some more formal robes. After a couple of minutes, Philip came down the stairs with his robes on and a small pouch attached to the side of his robing, Fen hurriedly turned into his smaller version and jumped straight into Philip's arms before snuggling up cosily and getting ready to leave.

After speaking of their location-to-be with a drop of floo powder, they arrived at Leaky Cauldron once more. As per usual, the owner, Tom was behind his counter happily whistling away to some tune whilst drying a mug with his bare hands.

They quickly paid their respects before heading over to the wall, performing the magic charm and making their way into Diagon Alley. Once there, Philip took out the second page once more and proceeded to read out the names to Fleamont and Euphemia whilst they decided which order would be best for them to go through them in.

First, they made their way towards Madame Malkin's Robes For All Occasions on the north side of Diagon Alley. As they stepped into the store, they noticed how neat and tidy it was with robes hooked on hangars and assorted into their different categories such as Quidditch, Travelling, Indoor wears and last but not least, Hogwarts Uniforms. Soon, a woman looking to be in about her 40's came up to them,

"Hello there, my name is Madame Malkin and this is my store for purchasing robes of almost every kind" She leaned in closer to both Harry and Philip before whispering, "even invisibility cloaks sometimes" she said with a small wink.

Fleamont and Euphemia let out a bitter smile when they heard what she said but didn't comment.

"So I take it the two of you are here to get your uniforms today?" she said whilst making her way back to the counter with the 5 of them in tow. "If you'd be so kind as to sit down just over here, ah, you, would you mind coming over here and could you stand with your arms out so I can take your measurements please" she said once more whilst pointing to a seating area which Harry, Fleamont and Euphemia made their way over to. Philip handed Fen over to Euphemia to which Fen whimpered slightly but accepted it reluctantly once he saw it was Euphemia.

Philip made his way over to where Madame Malkin asked him to stand before promptly raising his arms, allowing for her to take his measurements. As this was being done, Harry noticed a group of boys were also in the seating area before the boy with slick-back blonde hair spoke up to him,

"You're here to get your uniform as well are you?" the boy spoke in a slightly prideful tone.

Harry having noticed the boy was clearly talking to him responded, "Ah, yes! my brother is getting his measurements checked right now" As he pointed towards Philip and Madame Malkin.

The other boy went back to talking with his friends whilst Harry watched Philip as he got measured. Soon after, Philip made his way back over with a slightly dull glint in his eyes, he placed his hand on Harry's shoulder, "Good luck my dear little brother" ... Harry proceeded to make his way over to Madame Malkin.

"Please raise your arms my dear" Madame Malkin said to Harry with a slight smile spread across her face. Harry was a bit worried for what was to come, but raised his arms regardless. Sometimes being innocent can be a good thing.

After a few minutes, Harry returned to the seating area.. with a few sparkles gone from his eyes. He felt as though he had lost something today and yet he didn't know why.

"Your uniforms should be done within an hour or two, I still need to finish these previous gentlemen's robes after all" Madame Malkin said as she sent a slight wink towards the boy Harry had spoke to before, you could tell that the boy had froze when she sent her wink over.

The 5 of them then made haste to the next shop on the list. Their next job was to head over to Ollivanders, the most renown wand shop in Diagon Alley and get their wands, whilst Harry and Philip did so, Euphemia and Fleamont decided to go and pick up their other bits that were on the list from the other shops.
