“Candidates for the Tournament”
"Hey… Rey did you know about the man who recently transferred" Says Gil to Rey
"yeah, I only seen him once, do you know something about him" Says Rey drinking some soft drinks.
"What I did found out about him was this" giving a folder full of documents towards Rey.
"Where did you get this? … isn't it illegal to just get something like this" Rey said in worried faces.
After a brief reading and inspecting, "a mechanical assistance to Arisha?" Rey says somehow surprised.
"Surprisingly right… tho what I have seen in my eyes…", says Gil remembering how he saw Arishok ripping through the door desolating their room, "...was more than just being an assistant".
"How so?" says Rey confused asking for answer.
"can a normal human easily rip through a hard thick metals?"
"Do know, but if you're going to suit in Athena then it might work"
A *sigh*, let out by Gil, they were in a café inside of the school so to say, after a cohesive conversation between the two gentlemen a few moments of waiting inside. Their friend finally arrive together with some six girls they recently make friends with. They were good looking and kind towards each other. They wore a uniform that of an Athena not to mention good looking.
They gather and sited at a large round table surrounded by sofas, a drinks and food was order, they were enjoying their youth or what they called.
In the meantime of debauchery, a subject change. Gil was the first to crack the topic.
"So when will the tournament be held this year"
"from what I heard I think they recently move the tournament in two months" Say the girl siting right next to Rey drinking some tea, she was a sure beauty.
"two months?" Kristof said
"Yep" a woman right beside Gil spoke in reply
"two months? … I thought it was the third week of this month" Gils says holding his chin, "do you know why?"
"none that we know of, but I heard some rumors that they have something prepared for us"
"do you know what that is?" Yamato said to the woman sitting at the left side of Rey she was a good looking lass, blank hair in pony tail. Veronica was her name.
"what I heard was, the HQ somewhat developing a new technology that would revolutionize the suit." Veronica says calmly sipping her cup of coffee.
While their conversation with each other continues Rey somehow saw a man not wearing an Athena uniform but rather wearing a long sleeve jeans and loose shirt reaching through his hand and a scarf covering his mouth he was quiet handsome. Confused to see a man wearing a common clothing, not just him but every other female student directing their eyes towards him. Not knowing it was Arishok wearing an I.D that of an assistant. What's more interesting was as he walks towards the large corridors full of female students, they somehow literally make a path for him to walk. They were curious, insulted, they were fluctuated to see a man just calmly walks inside the building. He seems to be going towards one of the large door, Rey could know that as the female student move aside for Arishok to walk he could hear their whispering at each other, gossiping in each of their own ears, but somehow the man (Arishok) didn't bother their words even if they are stabbing him through their words but calmly just march forward like nothing as if he was some sort of a high rank officer.
Only Rey were to see Arishok slowly walks away as he was covered by the students hindering his eyes. Out of curiosity for that man, Rey stood, telling a lie "I'm gona go to the rest room". Unknowingly Veronica notice Rey was seeing Arishok out of curiosity so she decided to follow him after a minute.
As Arishok march forward dipping his hand to his pocket, not long he stood at a large door leading through the office of Arisha for some discussion. But… but somehow he was hinder by three female student were two of which was younger than him and one is older than him. What's even more fun was, it was the same student that he once being augmented for the first time he entered the class.
They could remember how he easily manage to sabotage the room with one swing of his hand. To test if this man (Arishok) was just play acting with the help of the high rank people buffing his way out from this school or if he was truly genuine to what he did.
They stand still blocking his path provoking him, intimidating him if he had the balls to fight back an Athena user.
Arishok was silent for a while a fraction of a seconds so to say, "will you please move aside." Saying in a low tone voice, a stoic voice.
As Arishok utters his words, the woman in the middle frowns at him, thinking how could this man just act like I am a normal person to him. She then slowly observes him from head to toe, she smirked upon seeing his I.D that of an assistant. Assistant or not the female student here sees themselves as superior to him. Closely she inspects his I.D more intently reading his name.
"Arishok was it… if I'm not mistaken you're the person who was recently transferred right after that man who was said to rival the top ten elites here in school" the woman said triumphantly.
As time goes by while facing the girls, Arishok could hear and feel the atmosphere around him became more intense. More and more students gather to watch the scene.
"hey isn't that the man"
"yes, I heard he was an assistant to the higher ups in here"
"you mean madam Arisha!? The hero"
"I think so…"
"that's absurd, I would rather see this man to be teach a lesson"
"right, I heard that he was somewhat protected by the officers here"
"humm… what a shame, to hide by the power of authorities, what men had become this days' "
"tss… what is he even doing here"
As their words feed the pride and ego of the predominate woman giving forth a challenge towards Arishok. "Arishok, if may, I ask, would you care for a challenge, since you're unable to use an Athena would you care for a hand to hand combat". The woman knew that she could even overthrow him since all the students here are taught martial arts to better merge themselves with the suit. They were even taught in basic to advance combat making themselves more versatile.
She thought that she could provoke him and intimidate him, his pride as a man, but she could see in his eyes… all she could see was an empty void, a lifeless emotion an eye showing nothing.
"what yielding already?"
The woman kept provoking him, but Arishok knew better he was way better than them in a billion times. Without saying a reply Arishok turns around seeking for another entrance.
"wait!!" the woman exclaimed
Arishok ignores and continue walking finding another path to seek. While he turns around Rey finally arrives at the scene to see Arishoks face of nothingness, of lifelessness emotion. Not long till Veronica too arrives right behind Rey.
"I thought you are going to the wash room" Veronica says raising her eyebrows at him.
"well I was just caught up with this scene" Rey replied
"really… you really are a bad liar the rest room isn't that way it's that way" Veronica says pointing at the left side of the corridor opposite from the scene.
Scratching his hair as he laughs in joke but suddenly knock by the kidney and dragging him back to their sit.
After returning him to hence where they were, they are now discussing about the tournament and who was to participate.
"To think that this would be a one heck of a tournament." Kristof said
"Even more so they have already gather enough information to all of us including the four of you during our training session" Gil said
"I see, so do you know the people whom are to be the candidates for the upcoming battle" said the woman sitting at the left side of Yamato.
"Not sure but I collected some intel that there's some people that might be hard for us" Gil says
"that would be" Kristof said
Gil nod, "there are in the Class-D, Keilas henchmen, but the thing is I heard some that they have something for us"
"What do you mean" Rey said
"don't know but the people here have so called a high technological robot that would be pair in the upcoming tournament"
"were did you get that information" Kristof ask Gil
"that's simple you just have to open your ears and mind"
"seems legit to me" Yamato replies.
"hahahahaha..." Gil says.
