Next three years went exactly as planned i.e. same as canon. True to my plan I acquired Basilisk after Harry had his little adventure. I harvested every part of it aside from its bones which I left at their original place to avoid suspicion. I kept its venom and hide and sold everything else. And dear lord it fetched quite the amount. My personal vault is now ~860,000 galleons richer. Thank you, Harry, for selflessly donating the Basilisk, your donation won't get unnoticed. I suppose I can help him out a little in Triwizard competition and against Voldemort depending on circumstances, provided that I stand to benefit in one way or another ( hey, I will still be helping him, just not at the cost of my own life). Anyway, did I tell you that I nailed my OWLs? Yup, true to my self created a reputation as a giant nerd, I scored the highest marks ever recorded in the last 200 years. I took OWLs for transfiguration, potions, charms, DADA, history of magic, astronomy, herbology, Arithmancy, ancient runes, healing, warding, Alchemy, dueling, language (4 languages), Muggle Studies, Divination, and Care of magical creatures. Yup, 17 subjects and I got O+ grade in every one of them. I self-studied for the electives courses that I didn't take in 3rd year ( Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, and Muggle Studies) because it looked more impressive to have more subjects in my OWLs report card. An unexpected benefit was that I had to take the exam for the subjects not taught at Hogwarts at Ministry itself. Meaning unless someone specifically requests my OWL results, everyone at Hogwarts will only know about my OWLs results of Hogwarts subjects and not for the self-taught subjects like healing, warding, dueling, curse breaking and languages. I decided against taking OWLs for Ritual magic since it is banned in magical England and I don't want uneducated sheep to think that I am going dark. Still, everyone at Hogwarts thinks I took 12 OWLs and got impressive O+ grade in each one of them. Even 12 OWLs subjects were a lot for them.
Anyway, I learned Patronus charm in summer after my OWLs. Unsurprisingly my Patronus is a wolf which I previously found was my 2nd animagus form. Though getting corporal shape was a bit difficult, I managed it in a few days. The rest of the year was uneventful and went exactly the same as canon though all those dementors were a tad bit annoying.
#### Time skip ; Date 3 August 1994 ###
I just had my 17th birthday a few days ago. Meaning I am now legally adult in the magical world and can take Headship of the most ancient and noble house of Canis. Which means I can now access Canis family vault and other properties and businesses. But I was waiting because my magical core started to show signs of 2nd magical maturity and true to the plan I arranged my magic in a diamond like a lattice structure just before transformation and I now have a marble size clear blue crystal core. After getting the crystal core my Magical strength hit through the roof. It is now around 20 times more than before transformation. Even my magic now recovers at a noticeable rate. Due to my high magical regeneration rate, I can throw around spells like stunner charm indefinitely because my magic recovers faster than I spend. But as many advantages my 2nd magical maturity brought me, it also has a huge disadvantage. Well, not a disadvantage per se, more like a major inconvenience. You see, my plan was to lay low during Hogwarts years and show my true strength when I am strong enough to fight against the likes of Voldemort and Dumbledore. But due to magical maturity, my eyes now shines like bright blue lights because of the very high amount of magic in my body. Well, that answers the age-old question of Dumbledore's twinkling eyes and Voldemort's shining blood red eyes. Good thing is that book about magical cores and maturity doesn't mention it anywhere about shining eyes meaning the rest of wizarding world doesn't know about this fact. But, Dumbledore is going to know that I had my 2nd magical maturity, the moment he sees me. So, there goes my plan of laying low.
Well, no point of crying over spilled milk. Since I can't lay low, I am now going to do just the opposite and show everyone my power in a well planned manner so that I can control the scenario and be called a genius instead of being dubbed as a Dark Lord by the rest of wizarding sheep ( gotta get rid of Rita Skeeter, she has too much influence and might write bullshit like me going dark in newspaper just to get publicity and most of the wizards being sheep may actually believe her. Yeah, she gotta go. The easiest way would be to smash her in her 'water beetle' animagus form while she is spying on champions.)
The best way for me to show my power in a good way is to participate in the upcoming Triwizard competition. Being a champion, it will be obvious to everyone that I am stronger than the rest of the students. Everyone in England will support me as Hogwarts champion and if I were to be much stronger than the champion of others schools, they will just think that Hogwarts is a better school than others to stroke their ego. It will portray me in a good light since I will be 'working hard' to win the competition for Hogwarts and by the end of it, they will just accept the fact that I am better than them as Hogwarts champion. This way I can expose my powers in a positive way while getting popular.
