Fullfilling The Primordial Contract (2)

"However, if I can fuse the first three layers, I'll immediately have the power to attack the other Layers far more effectively, together with Gu Long, which can pincer them between us, so the Lords won't be able to act against us in an organized manner. Not to mention, without Asmodeus, they are like headless chickens."

The rest of the Lords aren't of one mind, and they would be able to rope them in or attack them individually.

"Ah. Since Asmodeus was gravely injured by the Origin Force during the descent of the Divine Kingdom, he can't come out anymore. The rest of the Lords are leaderless, so they can't work together now... but when the situation becomes too grave, Asmodeus would be forced to leave Nessus even in the state he was in and fight for his survival, where he would be ambushed by Dragon Prince and Witch, and you would take on the disorganized Hell Lords one by one..."

Isabel seemed to understand as she was catching too fast on the happenings and his machinations.

Everything that was happening right now was just an elaborately crafted and planned trap towards conquering all the Layers of the Baator and assimialting them into the Araboth Divine Realm in one go.

And now was the best opportunity because Asmodeus was severely injured and unable to act; they would take the remaining Layers of the Baator by storm. When the attacks became too much and losses too high, then no matter how injured Asmodeus was, he would be forced to act against Leylin.

And that would be time for what Gu Long and Iggwilv were waiting.

They would ambush and kill the ruler of the Baator and the leader of the Archdevils, and for a better and smoother advance, Leylin had another thing prepared in his sleeve.

'Master, Thultantar is prepared for the offense.'

The ancient Netherese had established the splendor of the Arcanists. In the period of darkness after the dusk of the gods, the Arcanists had saved the commoners from savagery and foolishness, building a civilization the Gods themselves feared.

Combined with their flying cities, ancient great Arcanists had the power to kill Gods themselves with their pinnacle magic.

The Gods would not stand such an affront to their existence, and the Arcanists who coveted Origin Force and touched on several taboos were exterminated.

However, that very war that had destroyed the Netheril Empire had also gravely hurt the Gods.

Many had fallen, and the number of Gods decreased without end.

Because of this painful lesson, the Arcanists became taboo and were annihilated by numerous Churches. All tomes related to the Netheril Empire were destroyed, creating another era of savagery.

One flying city of the Arcanists had managed to survive that period, and at a specified time, it had returned to the Prime Material Plane. It was in the western desert the Thultanthar fell into Leylin's hands.

He hadn't used the Thultanthar before, but now was the perfect opportunity because he didn't have to fear anything and anyone.

As long as he conquered all of the Layers of the Baator and assimilated them to his Abaroth Divine Realm, then the Gods wouldn't be really a problem for him because, within his Divine Realm, he would be safe and, practically speaking, untouchable...

Leylin even repaired the Thultanthar and installed a good number of upgrades, either from the research of the schematics of the Sky City that belonged to Gu Long or from the information that he researched by himself or exchanged with the members of the Longinus Dreizhen Orden.

The A.I. Chip loyally sent information regarding the City of Shadows.

As long as the A.I. Chip was around, Leylin had no need to fear betrayal by Shaylin and Ilyo, even at the same time.

With the Floating City Thultanthar, Leylin launched a surprise attack on the Gods that existed within the First Layer of the Baator Avernus and the Third Layer of the Baator Minauros.

Actually, there were a lot of Evil Gods that were hiding within the Baator from the other Gods because they were not allowed to set foot on the Prime Material Plane and all of these Gods were Leylin's target.

In the end, their Divine Sparks were priceless treasures, and their Divine Kingdoms could be used to support the ever-continuing growth of the Abaroth Divine Realm. Unfortunately for the Evil Gods, the process with them was very short, as none of them could resist Leylin's might.

In the end, all of them were quickly quelled, their Divine Kingdoms assimilated by the Abaroth Divine Realm and their corpses and everything about their being harvested as his spoils of war and precious resources.

Under Borke and Azlok, the army of flame devils purged all resistance. With the descent of the floating city, the Bronze Citadel was taken over without any issues. The Pit Fiends who had been guarding the area had their heads thrown off the city walls.

Immediately after that, the Abaroth Divine Realm shined with brilliant Holy Light and Avernus started fusing into the Abaroth Divine Realm, as the Divine Realm was expanding at a frightening speed.

After the Avernus was fused into the Abaroth Divine Realm, Leylin turned his attention to the Minauros, which was already being defended by it Lord, Mammon the Lord of Greed, but even that was entirely futile.

Within just a few hours, the resistance of the Minauros was broken into the rubbles, and even the nightly Lord of the Third Hell of the Baator, Mammon the Lord of Greed was killed by Leylin and his entire being was devoured.

After hearing the prompt of the A.I. Chip, Leylin didn't stop and turned his attention to another of the Hells of the Baator.

Phlegethos.

Right now, he was having a moment of momentum, which was the culmination of the plans that he had been preparing for centuries. Technically speaking, nobody could stop him.

Perhaps if all of the Greater Gods of the World of Gods joined their hands together with the Intermediate Gods, they would be able to break through the Dimensions and hinder his progress, perhaps even stopping him.

But he knew that such a thing was nigh impossible.
