How a Spider ended up in Gotham 12

Peter was having a really good day today it felt like he could even win the lottery if he tried. First, there was no Flash to bother him today he was home sick with a stomach flue, not to be cruel but peter thought his life at school would improve if Flash took two days off a week. Second Peter got an A* in Ap physics midterm so that was four A*s for all Ap classes. Now if only he could get a B in English literature that would be wonderful. Third MJ decided she was going to hang with them today. Fourth Ned finally made it into the robotics tournament, and Peter was thrilled for him. Ned had been aiming to win last year but was knocked out in the second round. . So today every thing was going peaches, Peter wouldn't be surprised if Thor flew past them. A ding to his phone got him out of the conspiracies about Mr. Harrington.

[The Mr. Stark ;

Roo, I came to pick you up. Head for the matte black Jeep, bring your friends along if they are free for the next 1-2 hours. I was thinking we take your friends out to dinner then spend the rest of the evening in the lab I have a few upgrades for the suits i want your thoughts on or you can show me that star wars you and Ted are always going on about. ]  

After reading the text on his phone Peter felt like he was on a caffeine and sugar induced high, Mr. Stark had come to pick them up and it was not even a lab day even then it was Happy who picked him up. Today was really the best day ever.

" hey Ned, MJ how do you feel about dinner with Mr. Stark." Peter asked trying to keep the joy from his voice. " Are you kidding that would be the best day ever, I would give up my Lego starship collection for that." Came Ned's immediate reply. MJ's reply followed soon after " If miss Potts is going to be joining this dinner then count me in." "Wait let me ask " Was all peter said before ignoring the loud scream that ripped out of Ned's mouth.

hey Mr. Stark  it is so cool that you came to pick us . Teaching you about Star wars would be so fun may be this weekend when Ned and i sleep over but now I want to learn about all the changes you made in the suits. By the way Ned is all in for the dinner but MJ is wondering if Miss Potts is going to join us.] 

A reply ding soon shut up Ned and MJ from there squabbling.

that's great kid but Pepper had work in China so she can't join us for dinner. may be next time.]

" I guess i will reluctantly join you guys" MJ replied after reading the message over Peter's shoulder.

With MJ's reply the trio started walking towards the jeep.
