Chapter # 40

After Yuu practically forced me to eat something, I ate because of him or otherwise I would have thrown everything out which in the matter of fact I did threw the food our as quickly I swallowed it and Yuu was baffled to what just happened. After I had eaten in a way, we went out to 'that' place which if it was in my power I would have never have set ever foot there.

When we arrived

" Tatsuya-kun"

After hearing my name, I told Yuu to wait for me and went to talk to the handler.

After talking with him, I went outside towards the tree and had a very mixed expression facing it, wondering should I ever have come here myself or let others handle it but I was not that afraid maybe because I brought him along, looking towards his direction. I had courage to face the tree or the one actually beneath it.

Meanwhile, Yuu who was looking towards or waiting for Shino to finish what he actually came to do here, I could make a guess since we were in a grave yard and Shino was standing in front on a particular one. Waiting for Shino to come I heard

" Are you Tatsuya kun friend?"

The man asked me coming closer.

"Yes, we are dorm mates and also go to the same high school"

With what I said, a kinda small smile appeared on his face.

" Thank god someone is here with him or else he won't be able to stand in front of that tree"

"Mind if I ask whose grave is that?"

"Looks like Tatsuya kun didn't tell you?"

"No, Shino just said it was 'an obligation and an errand' "

" That kid still hasn't changed yet."

"Does it matter, I think Shino is okay as he is, he doesn't to change but he does needs to change some of his habits"

" Haha, oh my kids these days are so bold. Your right he doesn't need to change after all he is much better now the how he was before"

Saying it the man had a peaceful smile appear on his face.

"Uncle my question?"

"Oh yes, to be honest seeing this sight really pains me?

"What do you mean?"

"You see I also have kids and I won't like it if my kids comes to my grave with that kind of expression on their face. His father was a respected man and I don't know what happened between them at all but looks like they were not close"

"So that's Shino's father grave?"

"Yes, he was a well renowned and respected doctor and I used to work with him as well, since then my position shifted and I ended up looking after the graves and dealing with the deceased, well this is just a side business. It was a coincidence that Shino's father grave ended up here as well, but Tatsuya kun has himself never really come to him unless there's a problem or I need to call him over."

In the midst of our talk, Shino came back to where we were and said

"Uncle I think with this matter I won't need to come back any time soon right. And if u need money I will wire it to your account so I hope you won't call me here again."

" Shino, what's wrong?" Yuu asked

"Definitely what the hell is wrong with you?"

And there came the voice of that person.

"What are you even doing here? Your following me everywhere"

"No, I am not following you all the time, you just happen appear mostly at where I want to come"

"Yoite, stop it this instant" the uncle said it.

Shino and Yuu were both puzzled as they were hearing his name the first time.

"Tatsuya kun I am sorry but he's my oldest son Yoite and I believe you were friends when you were young Tatsuya kun but it appears you had forgotten about him after your fathers dead."

Looking at Yoite, I couldn't even seem to remember befriending him at all.

"Tatsuya kun I can't blame you, Yoite was very mad when you shifted middle school in the middle and completely disappeared but he told me he saw you at his school and was very happy to be reunited with you, but you didn't remember him at all. You both went to the same middle school together and were very close."

Hearing all of this at once, I was close with that guy but in middle school the only people close to me was Izumi but I was with Yoite too? That doesn't make sense.

"How can I forget just one person, I never had any memory loss and I wasn't even young to forget stuff and I remember everything that so called father did ( pointing to his grave)?

Footsteps coming closer and the next thing what I received was a SLAP. Yoite had struck me and I was completely dumbfounded at the event that happened occured.

"Yoite what the hell are you doing to Tatsuya kun?"

Yuu came closer to him asking me completely if I was okay because the shivers started.

looking at my condition yoite said

"Your always like this hating your father, he loved you so much and always happy at whatever you did whether you failed a subject, he supported you unlike my father who always scolded me at whatever chance he got. You father was doctor and I always respected him. You shiver like that why the hell do u even shiver?

From the moment I was reunited with you the moment the word of your father comes you either faint or shiver or collapse."

Every word he said was true in a way the truth which was clearly seen by others but true thing was hidden and covered with no mistakes or witness to be seen or heard.

Every word Yoite made me realise the reason why I had forgotten about him and the reason why I am the same as my father to the core.

His word broke through my defensive walls which I worked so hard to build which not even Izumi was allowed to enter it.

His words left me with no wall to defend myself and I remembered the time that even after his death I wasn't completely freed at all.

My pained expression went to nothingness and expressionless as it was before, my shivering had already long stopped before I heard the loud sound.

SLAP

but this time I wasn't the one who was slapped but rather Yuu had slapped Yoite. and surprisingly a hand from behind had covered my ears and eyes and calmly said

"Shino, I am with you, you don't need to revert back to that side of yours again."

"I- Izumi?"

Izumi uncovered my eyes and ears but was still holding me tightly.

My eyes focused on Yuu and seeing Izumi behind me made him reassured and then Yuu started

"Who the hell gives you any right to judge at what he did or how he acted, are you really our senior or a kid in that form?

You have absolutely no idea what Shino goes through in his life and what happens to him after he receives those attack maybe only me since I live with him and Izumi knows about them and how dare you collapse those high walls of Shino, it took Izumi and me such a long time to just break down just one of it.

He is a god damn human not a machine he has feelings though true he isn't the best at expressing it at all but still it gives you no right to make him that vulnerable or were you really not seeing his expression when you threw all those words at him?"

"Yoite I remember you, I guessed the reason why Shino forgot about you that's why I never mentioned about you to him myself, but since that time why did you never tried to look of what was actually happening beneath the curtains and just saw it at how you wanted everything to be like"

After a few minutes of silence.

"Izumi" I whispered " Let go of me please"

Izumi did not want to, It seemed.

but with a smile on my face I finally said it

" Its okay and I am okay now and thankyou"

Izumi let go looking relieved and I walked closer to Yuu.

"Yuu"

Yuu spinned around and then

"Idiot, why are you both getting angrier instead of me" looking at Yuu and Izumi both.

"You both are so freaking good with your words?

"Because you don't how to get angry so it's our job to get angry instead of you" Yuu said.

"What kind of logic is that" I laughed, a genuine laugh.

Let's go both of you okay you have done enough for me as it is"

Yuu was reluctant but finally gave in and came with me and Izumi followed.I told Yuu and Izumi to go ahead first and before leaving myself I said to Yoite.

"Yoite I do remember you now"

Hearing this Yoite's eyes had dilated and I saw his eyes had begun to tear as well, seems like he finally solved the puzzles behind the curtain and he broke down crying and then I broke myself from the shackles of the chains I had binded myself in. The spider web had finally been unlocked with just one lock left to open now.
