Chapter # 41

[ Yuu ]

After Shino told us to go ahead and wait for him, me and Izumi went ahead to a near by cafe. We took a seat and Izumi asked me what he wanted to drink. I replied back to him for an Iced latte so he went ahead to order.

In that brief moment I was alone, I sent my mind straight and thought all the things that occurred today, Shino wanted to visit a grave which was just an obligation for him to do so but then why did he have to slap him I was so angry at him.

Then a hand came on my head to hit me, a small punch one can say. I looked up to see Izumi and he said

"You know you shouldn't be that angry and your whole face gives you out"

He put down the tray with the two coffees and sat down on his seat, he handed mine over.

I took one sip and then I asked him

"Then why aren't you angry with what Yoite did?"

In that moment Izumi was flustered but then he relaxed and said

"Yuu, in the beginning, I will be very honest I didn't like how you were close to Shino at all. It looked like you took my spot but that was me just being jealous.

My reason for not being angry at what Yoite did was because all three of us were very close friends"

"Wait! what? Y-You guys were friends? But why doesn't Shino know about him plus isn't he our senior?"

"He is our senior as Yoite had always been smarter than us from the start so when I first saw him I figured he had jumped a class but Yoite role model was Shinos' father, he wanted to become a doctor just like him, Shino knew that as well but those two of them were very close before Shino ran away in the mid after the incident. I don't know whether Yoite had figured it out or not but Shino was concealing all the stuff from him, it was a fluke I came to know about his situation but it did make Shino build walls around Yoite and how he interacted with him, Shino wanted to see his father like a role model he wanted to see"

"Shino already has walls up high as a sky but does it mean his walls were down when it came to you?"

"No, his walls have never ever been down but If I could compare it to only three walls Yoite was behind the third one and not even one step closer in even touching it whereas I would say I crossed the second but was very far in actually coming close to the first. It's just like taking a step towards the door but you will be stopped in the middle before you even try to reach it"

"Why did Shino become like that?"

"He had his own reasons to be like that. Peoples expectations, how he wanted others to look at him shaped him like that"

"That idiot

but doesn't he realize it's obvious to everyone that everything he does seems fake"

"He does know I think I am not sure but he can't handle them all, he will shatter if be does. The more often this goes on I am afraid that he will be shut in his own world without wanting to come out"

"If you figured this stuff out why didn't Yoite did?"

"Shino way of masquerading everything at middle school proved it very hard for others to find evidence especially since he himself never uttered out a word

Do you know he was actually the class representative in middle school

He had such a cool air around him which made others idolize him.

Now I think about it that idiot had concealed everything too much"

"Seeing you say everything right now and processing what you said what I want Shino to give right now is a proper beating"

Hearing this Izumi laughed.

"Give one to him, he needs it badly"

"Did you take to Yoite beforehand?"

"I did actually"

"What did you tell him ?"

"Before they both met I talked with Yoite and told him that Shino didn't remember about him to be honest I didn't exactly know why only Yoite was removed from his memory, I had asked Shino before but he remembered everything we did together but just not him, it's just like only he wasn't there in his memories and I told this all to Yoite but Yoite said that he had visited Shino and he knows that Shino has forgotten about him but then he told me he wasn't angry at all and even when they met he showed him all the pictures together but Shino refused to believe it"

"W-Wait picture but I eavesdropped in there conversation but I didn't see any photos at that time"

"You eavesdropped?"

"Yeah I did"

Oh I should have not said that my big mouth damn.

"Okay I will consider not hearing this but still don't like what you did"

"Yeah scold me later continue the story"

Izumi sighed and the continued

"Well after Yoite showed him the pictures and the pictures where all three of us were together but even after seeing it Shino failed to acknowledge him and he tore that picture apart and ran away. Yoite tried to make him remember but the results were the same everytime and he always triggered him so it never ended peacefully.

You asked me why I wasn't angry with his behaviour well he had reached his limit and Shino had to remember though how it led to him remembering wasn't what I wanted"

Now I want to know what exactly happened which shaped Shino like that.

"Izumi?"

"hmm"

"What exactly happened ?"

"Its not my place to tell you at all. Shino should be the one to tell you and that's all I can tell you or say to you right now. Give some time I think Shino will open up to you soon, there is no need to rush okay"

"Fine I will wait till Shino wants to tell, I won't rush or push him"

Izumi is right I should wait, He needs to trust me to say something to me. This kind of thing doesn't need to be rushed at all.

Then again where is Shino we talked for so long already that I had finished my latte already. Before I said about his whereabouts

Izumi beat me to it.

"Though where is Shino? Is the talk between them going long?"

"Izumi, he will come, plus I don't think they are talking till now. Shino needs to clear his mind let him be alone right now, he will call us when he wants to know where we are"

I was just worrying about him myself right now and now I am saying him to wait okay damn I am so two faced.

"Yeah that's true too but right now should we not be with him right now"

"Nah, he will take us as some kind of nuisance plus he's right in this area and plus he ain't a kid, Shino will kill you if he knows what you thinking Yuu"

"So who's gonna tell him?"

"I won't tell him but this would be a good blackmail when I would need to use this so stay tune when I will use my trump card"

We both started laughing.

"Like hell you will"

Meanwhile

Shino was about to leave when Yoite called him from behind
