1 Sunflowers: Passionate Love UNEDITED.

The following days when Chen and Yifei were at home, wedding planning was pushed to full speed. Chen would finish work very early and come home before the sun began to set.

After a couple of weeks of preparation, it was finally time.

Unfortunately, their wedding was not held in spring, but at the beginning of summer.

It wasn't a bad time, the weather was nice, and the flowers bloomed immensely. Everything just fell into place.

Their wedding was not as grand as a royal's, but it wasn't shabby. Though it was kept as private as possible, the public knew.

He was Chen after all, only one in this country and only second to his majesty.

Rumors of his future wife were plenty. She was so beautiful no one can compare. Others say she was too ugly that she hid her face under a veil. Whether it was true or not, it served as a hot topic for a while.

After their wedding, they went straight for their home to get a good night's sleep. They are going on a long journey, their awaited vacation.

Chen has already applied for this leave a long time ago. Everything he prepared was for this day.

After bathing, Yifei was already in bed reading a book.

When Chen came out, he made an abrupt stop in his steps. Looking at her, he felt strangely nervous.

Yifei took a glance at him and laughed.

"What are you doing silly?" She patted the empty space beside her. "Get in here husband!"

Chen awkwardly pulled the sheets open and stiffly laid down.

Yifei closes all the lights and laid beside him.

After a long hesitation, she moved to his side and imprinted a kiss on his lips.

"Why are you so shy right now? Haven't we been sleeping next to each other for a while now?"

Chen's eyes slowly moved to her face which brightens under the moonlight.

"Do you know what you're initiating?" His voice was laced with an indescribable hunger. His eyes were deep and dyed in red, holding in his breath.

"What's wrong with a wife kissing her husband?" Yifei teased him. Her face glowed beautifully. The flush of red after a bath remained on her cheeks. It was very seductive, he slowly gripped the sheets.

"Then you don't mind what a husband is supposed to do with his wife on their wedding night?"

Yifei wrapped both of her arms around his neck and lifted her head to kiss him again.

"I never said you couldn't...even before." She averted her eyes.

In the next second, Chen turned over and strapped her under him.

Hearing just the bare minimum, he kissed her deeply. Once she opens her mouth to breathe, he took his chance and inserted his tongue inside and made a mess out of her.

Yifei couldn't keep up and clenched her fingers. as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

In the midst of it all, Chen restrained himself from going crazy one last time.

"Does it hurt?" He wiped a stray tear from her face. "We can stop if you're not feeling okay."

"Silly, you already past that point and you're asking?"

Chen scrunched his brows sadly looking at her. "I'll be as gentle as I can. Tell me if it still hurts okay?"

Her husband was truly too thoughtful. Yifei smiled deeply and said, "You can do whatever you want. I've kept you waiting for too long."

Chen breathed heavily as Yifei moaned in pleasure. Seeing her different expressions, it turned his switch on even more.

He sat up with her in his arms and began to tease the flower petals on her breasts.

As they reach their climax, Chen kissed her cheek. Seeing her sweet profusely, he hugged her tightly into the crevices of her neck, wanting to engulf her, he left a print.

"I love you, Yifei," Chen said softly as he breathed roughly.

She hugged him tightly. "U-un."

After a raging storm that overcame the morning, the two snuggle close to one another.

Chen, who was still filled with energy glanced beside him, at his tired wife. It felt like flowers bloomed in his heart, his heart was still beating crazy.

"Sorry, I was too reckless."

Yifei laughed. "I didn't know you were a wolf, under those clothes."

He lifted the blanket close to her neck as he blushed. "Let's sleep, I've troubled you, wife."

"En."

"I love you, my wife," Chen told her again.

He wants to call her again and again.

Yifei held his waist and laid on his chest as she laughed. "Me too, Silly."

Pecking her forehead, he asked, "You're not going to call me husband?"

"Dear, I'm tired, let's sleep." Yifei turned to her side and teased him. "I'll start tomorrow."

"It's fine, dear sounds better." Chen laughed innocently. He had never felt such joy in his life.

In the late afternoon, the servants began to move some luggage onto the carriage.

Aside from a few servants and knights, the rest stayed to maintain their home.

"Be sure to keep in contact with me if something happens at the palace. I hope he can handle things himself. If he dares to ruin my newlywed life, I'll end him." Chen instructed his aid strictly. "Emphasize that last part to him clearly. I'm sure you can handle the rest without me."

"Yes, sir," Gad answered.

"Then we're off." Chen climbed up.

The servants quickly all smiled and waved goodbye as the carriage rode off.

"Have fun, madam!"

"I will! I'll be sure to bring back gifts!" Yifei waved back.

Back the palace.

"They probably already left huh." the king smiled looking out at the window.

"Yes, your majesty."

The king turned around. "It seems like you'll have a hard time looking after me Gad."

"It can't be helped, sir Chen was worried about leaving the work only to you." Gad laughed. "Don't worry, I will only come by to check up on you. I have his home to manage as well."

"I s-see." 'That bastard, he too good at doing his job.' The king shook his head.

"Then I'll be going through the papers in the office and sort them out for you to start signing. As for the potential war, Sir Chen has some information gathered. He'll be investigating during part of his vacation." Gad bowed and left.

The king shook his head again and smiled. 'I'll always tell you to take a break, but you never do listen, do you?'

Knock knock*

a maid came out of the room.

"I'm sorry your majesty, her highness is still not feeling well. She asked to be alone."

"...I see. Okay. Remember to tell her to eat. " After the maid bowed and went back into the room, the king turned around and left.

They've been sleeping in separate rooms ever since the last fight and she's been cooped up in her own bedroom.

'Maybe it was better to keep her free, she was happier that way.'

He felt helpless. His position, heredity, nothing benefited him throughout his life.

Isn't it what everyone wanted? People envy him for looks, wealth, and power.

His parents died to save this seat.

He had no desire to inherit the thrown, but couldn't abandon his people.

This was what it is like to be the king of this country.

A lonely battle.

"What did he say?" Anne looked at the maid from her bed.

"He reminded you to eat your meals."

"That's it?" Her eyes that full of curiosity and life dulled in an instant.

"Yes, your grace." The maid resolutely replied and bowed deeply.

'I hope she doesn't go on a rampage again.'

"Hurry up and read these books," Anne commanded.

"B-but your grace.. this...." These are forbidden holy books! Don't tell me she...

"I gave you permission. Quickly! Remember to tell no one of this or I'll have your head." Anne warned her.

"I...Yes, your grace." The maid answered and reluctantly walked to the bed.
