Fight In The North East

Hao Shen had left the clan for four months already, he had reached the peak of the 7-star Dou Zhe realm a week before and was about to have his breakthrough the 8-star Dou Zhe realm.

Hao Shen was currently in the northeast of the Jia Ma Empire, this place was covered in snow all year round and was considered one of the most dangerous spots of the Jia Ma Empire due to the large presence of strong Magical Beasts.

Here any Magical Beast under the Peak of the Rank 1 was a rarity which made this spot one of the best one for Hao Shen as he was already unparalleled under the Dou Shi realm.

Hao Shen had already mastered the Flash Slash Dou Qi Sword Skill before leaving the clan four months ago, during his trip he reached the 500th step of the Thousand Steps Whirlwind and he could actually maintain himself in the sky for a little time, the first time he experienced it, Hao Shen was extremely excited but ended up crashing on the ground since he didn't have any control of it at first, after some time he found that the principle behind his ability to stay in the air for a short moment was actually very similar to the one he used to boost his speed with the air current so he made rapid progress and in a month he reached the 658th step, he approached the 1000th step quickly and would soon be able to fly using the air current as a medium to maintain himself in the air, when he reached the 1000th step he would also be able to use his Mouvement Dou Qi Skill as a mean to attack using the Whirlwind he formed once more raising his strength.

Hao Shen was currently cultivating since it was early in the morning, after some time he stood up and looked around him.

'It seems that Xiao Hei once more went out to hunt for some Magical Core.'

Xiao Hei was currently a Peak Mid Level Rank 1 Magical Beast and he was able to fight with Late Level Rank 1 Magical Beast thanks to his double affinity for Dou Qi, he should soon have his breakthrough and become a Late Level Rank 1 Magical Beast which will allow him to fight Peak Rank 1 Magical Beast.

Hao Shen started to walk towards the west to see if he could find any Magical Beast to fight since he felt that he would soon be able to have his breakthrough.

When he had walked for approximatively an hour, he suddenly saw a beast charging at him, it was a large python know as the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python, a Peak Rank 1 Magical Beast

Hao Shen dodged the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python's attack, he slashed out a sword light using his Flash Slash Dou Qi Sword Skill that smashed into the python. This strike left a large wound on the body of the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python but it seemed to only be more enraged because of it.

The Giant Three-Headed Snow Python was furious and loudly hissed before shooting out an Ice Beam right towards Hao Shen.

The ground where the beam passed was instantly frozen while the beam continued towards Hao Shen.

Hao Shen threw himself to the side, narrowly avoiding this Ice Beam and seeing that the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python python had finally stopped attacking, he sent all of his power into the next strike. A 5-meter long sword light slashed out towards the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python.

Boom!!

The power from the sword light sent the gigantic python flying back five or so meters before crashing to the ground, sending a lot of dust into the air.

"Ssss!" the three-headed python went berserk, and there was now another deep wound on its belly, causing blood to continuously flow out, it had never been injured like this before and this was the reason as for why he was enraged.

Within the dust, the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python reared its heads and opened its mouth, shooting out three Ice Beam, one for each of its mouths.

These rays of black light flashed through the air towards Hao Shen. Hao Shen dodged in time and slashed out with his sword, the sharp sword light rushed toward the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python heads.

Bang!!

The Sword Light slashed through the three heads at once instantly killing the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python, and sending it's three head flying in the air.

When Hao Shen killed the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python he suddenly felt his Dou Qi becoming restless so he immediately sat down cross-legged and started to use the Star-Fire Mantra Revolution to move his Dou Qi toward his Dantian, after an hour a big quantity of Dou Qi was absorbed by Hao Shen's body.

'Hehe, I had my breakthrough the 8-star Dou Zhe realm. Sigh, If I was only a little less careful it could have ambushed me and I would have been in danger.'

Hao Shen inspected the three head and found a Level 1 Ice Magical Core in one of them.

"Bah, since I got this Magical Core in addition of my breakthrough this fight was worth my time"

Hao Shen then burned the corpse of the Giant Three-Headed Snow Python and started to go back towards where he installed his camp.

Midway to his destination, he heard a cry above him so he looked toward the sky surprised, it was Xiao Hei that was flying toward him excitedly, as soon as he arrived he landed on Hao Shen's shoulder.

"Hmm, what is it Xiao Hei did you find something that you like?"

To Hao Shen's question, Xiao Hei nodded his head in answer.

"You need my help to get it?" when Hao Shen asked this, Xiao Hei once more nodded his head.

"Okay, where is it?"

Xiao Hei started flying so Hao Shen followed him.

After some time they arrived at the edge of the mountain where they had been since a week ago and Xiao Hei landed on Hao Shen's shoulder once more and looked down toward a certain direction.

When Hao Shen looked in the same direction as Xiao Hei, he saw a Big Ape sleeping at the entrance of a cave.

"The thing that you want is in this cave?"

once more Xiao Hei nodded.

"Alright I'll help you get it but do we need to kill this Frost Ape, it's a Mid Level Rank 2 Magical Beast, it will be quite hard to kill it."

And once more Xiao Hei nodded, he seemed to be very attracted to the thing that was inside of the cave.
