Professor Xi is A Woman?

"Hahaha, My bad" Alina muttered with an awkward smile, she looked weird talking to herself. 


As she wandered around in the street not knowing what to do, all she thought was this dream is never ending. She didn't realize she was sent back in time.


 Of course, how would she know this was possible? She isolated herself from world and was always logical but never a philosophic. She already died and gave up on everything but now she was here, bought back to her first step to misfortune.


And now, she needs to strategize. Even though no harm was done now that she escaped from her marriage, unlike her previous life where she was imprisoned for 7 years after marriage.


 They damaged her so much that she could not fix it in the three years' time she was alive


 She was physically and psychologically damaged. 


She was not a monster but they created one. So this monster will devour them before they know it. She will strike before anyone else does. 


Over the years, she learned so much for no reason. Killing people wasn't one way to actually destroy them.Well, as long as others didn't get in her way.


At last, God hasn't abandoned her but so what! She wasn't interested in revenge or anything before, all she ever wanted was to fulfil her wishes and dreams. But they shattered them. 


Since God gave her a second chance, she will live to her fullest without looking back or holding on to the past. 


As she thought of her new life, Alina sniggered remembering she hasn't resigned her post as professor yet. What a time to be alive. Don't you think so?


She thought, maybe this wasn't so bad. She will appreciate the world around her more and do what she was passionate about like teaching and flirting. 


 In her previous life, she became a different person after her divorce.  


To get rid of her gloominess, she would flirt with others so she would not drown in her sorrow, which resulted in becoming her habit. It was harmless flirting of course.  


So, she was really looking forward to going back to university. 'Heheh this is going to be fun, Professor Xi is back!' 


Those hard working students had an ominous feeling that this year at university is going to be eventful. 


However, she became gloomy and like a balloon she deflated. 


Alina doesn't feel that the whole process was real. After all to her, the circle of life was different, you are born and you die. It was this simple. 


She wondered if everyone gets a second chance if they had so many regrets like her or was there more to it. 


She didn't want to probe too much on it, at least for now. She needs to sort many things.


 The first thing is she needs to go home.


Taking a deep breath, she went to the park beside her and sat on a bench. There was a park near the church hence she didn't walk too far from the church. 


Feeling cold, she sat there as her memories of previous life flashed in her mind. She earned millions everyday but they made her marry in a church about go bankrupt.


 Truly infuriating. Did her family hate her so much that they didn't even want to spend money on her wedding, the money she earns? 


She was the heir to the Xi Corporation but she couldn't even afford a decent wedding. She was really a dimwit for believing in people. Her mother told her that having a lavish wedding would ruin her reputation. Tsk what a hypocrite. 


People say that a mother loves all her children equally and even if they are biased, they wouldn't be so cruel.  But her mother really proved it wrong. 


She was just a witch who doesn't deserve her love and respect.  Even in her own wedding she couldn't express her own opinion and she was the boss of over 12OO employees. What a laughable situation.
