Chapter 1

There once was a girl who was in highschool who was beautiful inside and out, but her life was all from perfect. At school everyone hated her for how amazing she was, she was smart,athletic, and artistic. But one day something happened, something that would change her life forever.One day Melody was just sitting at her desk doing her work like always when someone walked through the door, someone new. He walked over to the teachers desk and gave her a paper, she then walked up to the front of the class and said

" Class we have a new student his name is Jeremy please make him feel welcomed. You can sit next to Melody, Jeremy." And with that sudden statement Melody was terrified. Jeremy walked over to his chair right next to Melody and said

"Hi I'm jeremy."

Melody didn't reply. Alexa the "coolest" (meaning that she was the meanest) girl in the school said

" Don't talk to her jeremy she's just a stupid lost girl who has nobody who loves her not even her own father" (her father actually died in the war but everyone thinks he left her) *she's laugh along with the entire class* Melody runs out the class crying.

"WAIT MELODY" said Jeremy. Melody went to her secret spot in the whole school, but little did she know she was being followed. Melody was a songwriter and a sketcher so She put on her headphones and sketched. She started singing because that's what made her the happiest

"Put your makeup on Get your nails done. Curl your hair. Run the extra mile Keep it slim so they like you, do they like you? Get your sexy on. Don't be shy, girl Take it off This is what you want, to belong, so they like you. Do you like you? You don't have to try so hard. You don't have to, give it all away You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up You don't have to change a single thing" then Jeremy who was hiding behind a bush suddenly started clapping, she was so surprised.

"I'm sorry I eavesdropped but I'm even more sorry for the way they treat you," Jeremy said. "Don't be it's true I am just a nobody who's own father doesn't want her," said Melody. "Hey don't ever say that about yourself," Jeremy said. Melody remained silent.

"So do you want to be friends ?" Jeremy said.

"Sure," Melody said. The school bell rings. "See you tomorrow." Said Melody.
