Chapter 5

The next day.

Melody woke up and to her surprise she was still at Jeremy's house but there was no Jeremy. She looked to the side of her pillow and..there was a note "left to school earlier, didn't want to wake you, Love Jerry," the letter said. Melody took a quick shower and went to school and to her surprise she was the first in class. There was a note on her desk it said "Meet me in the janitor's closet, XOXO Jerry," Melody found it very suspicious but she just thought that he left a note only because he couldn't use his phone in school. So off she went to the Janitor's closet not knowing that what awaited in the closet wasn't Jeremy. She opened the closet door, "it was really dark in there" she thought. But suddenly she was grabbed an someone punched her in her stomach, she was slapped in the face, she was losing consciousness.

Back with jeremy. He was really worried he didn't find Melody anywhere. He checked at her desk and he found the note, Jeremy was alarmed, he ran as fast he could to the janitors closet. But he was too late. What he found was Melody, except she was very bruised. He did what he thought would be best and took her to the school's nurse. 30 minutes later The nurse said she was fine. Jeremy was very relieved. "So she's gonna be ok?" asked Jeremy. "Yes, she just needs time to rest," said the nurse.

An hour later. Melody woke up and the first thing she saw was Jeremy. "Hey. how are you doing," asked Jeremy. "I'm fine," said Melody. Jeremy grabbed Melody's cheek it was really bruised from the slapps. Jeremy was so devastated that he couldn't help her. "I'm so sorry Mel," Jeremy said with tears in his eyes. "Hey, hey, look at me," Melody said while grabbing his face "You couldn't have known this was going to happen ok, besides I should have known it wasn't you, you would never put XOXO," said Melody trying to cheer up jeremy. "But I should have been there to protect you," said Jeremy with tears in his eyes. "You just being my friend is already protecting me, it giving me strength that I never knew I had, and I will use that strength to protect myself, so don't be sad because you have done so much for me. You've done more than you give yourself credit for," Melody said while bringing him into a hug.

"Thank you for being my friend mel," Jeremy said. "No thank you for being my guardian angel," Melody said. "Wow cheesiest thing ever," jeremy said with a huge grin on his face. "Ughhh you just have to go and ruin it, don't you," said Melody. "Hey don't speak to your "Guardian Angel" like that," jeremy said laughing with joy. "Never mind I regret saying your an angel, your more of a devil," Melody said. "O c'mon don't be so mean, c'mon don't make me tickle you, who want a visit from the tickle monster," Jeremy said with his hands in tickle position."Don't you freaking dare jeremy or I swear to god I'll-" Melody said but was cut off because jeremy had started a tickle war that he wasn't ready for.

Melody laughed so hard telling him to stop but he didn't. She kept laughing and laughing until she couldn't take it and gave him a upper right hook. Jeremy collapsed onto the bed. "Ok,ok you win," jeremy said while still in pain. "Don't mess with a sapphire," melody said with a smirk. "Ok, I think- K.O.," said Jeremy while pretending to die on the bed. "Ohh don't be so dramatic," said Melody. By 5:00 pm they were heading home still laughing about what had happened and how jeremy was crying from a little hit by Melody. "

Ah it still hurts," said Jeremy. "Yeah, well my stomach still hurts from laughing to much, so i guess we're even," Said Melody. "yeah,I guess you're right, but next time I feel like challenging you please remind me not too, I can not get this beautiful face damages," said Jeremy. "HA a beautiful face!!! are we looking at the same face," exclaimed Melody while laughing. "Yeah yeah, laugh it up, let me remind you that girls fall to my feet," said Jeremy with a big grin. "Umm, I'm a girl and i'm not falling to your feet," said melody with an exhausted look. "Then you would be the first," said jeremy with a huge grin on his face.
