Chapter 6

The Next Day.

The School was the same for Melody and Jeremy but something was up with melody. "So, do you wanna come over to my house today," asked Jeremy. "Sorry I can't," said melody. "Why," asked Jeremy. "I have something to do today," said Melody. "What do you have to do today," asked Jeremy. "I have to ummmm wash my cat....gotta go," said Melody as she rushed to her house not waiting to hear what jeremy had to say. "That was weird-she doesn't have a cat" thought Jeremy. As Melody got into her house she went straight up to her room and put on black leggings with a black sports bra and put a jacket over her bra. She left her house and started walking but little did she know she was being followed by Jeremy. She started walking and 10 minutes later they were at the bad side of town "what is she doing in a place like this" jeremy wondered. Melody quickly turned into a dark alleyway. Jeremy hid behind one the the dumpsters that could hide his big body. He watched as melody was talking to somebody. But she looked different. Her hair was up in a high ponytail but even in a high ponytail her hair reached the bottom of her back. And she was wearing a black sports bra with a blue leather jacket on top with ripped jeans, she looked really scary. "What job do you have for me today scar" she asked the person in a hood. " let me see your mark first" they said. Melody took off her jacket and showed a mark on her stomach, it was a picture of what looked like 3 wolf scratches dripping with blood. "Welcome blood wolf member" they said. "Yeah yea just give me a job" she said getting irritated as she put her jacket back on. "You have to go and 'rough up' a guy for us, he still hasn't paid the money he owes us yet" they said. Melody nodded in agreeance. Jeremy quickly hid behind the dumpster so she wouldn't see him as she passed by. Jeremy followed her as she walked away making sure that the hooded figure was gone. "I can't believe....this she's in a gang" Jeremy thought to himself.
