"Targets Alpha, Beta, still in the cloud barrier, slowly converging towards the carrier." Arashi spoke over the LRR. (long range radio) "Targets should emerge into the 'eye' in 2 mikes, over."

"Affirmative, keep over watch on the targets."

Vardan replied through the radio. After a brief pause, he brought up a augmented screen and inputted multiple commands and issued a announcement.

"All hands on deck, blue alert has escalated to blue-red alert. Prepare for combat."

The entire ship went silent for a moment. They were confused as they knew that there were no active navel combat zones and none of their enemies were aware of the operation. But they all put it behind them and proceeded to their combat stations, knowing that they will get their answers in the debrief after everything ended.

"Admiral, was that the right choice? We have no intel about anything right now. If we do anything that may come off as an attack, it's going to start a war." Paulina questioned, looking visibly worried as they have fought, initiated, and ended many wars before.

"We won't launch any attacks as of now. once we have a clear visual on the targets, we will proceed from then on." Vardan replied to her. He then turned to the rest of the bridge and announced, "Prepare retaliatory procedures, arm for black. Do not launch until I give the order via transmission. I am declaring an emergency operation, commence!"

"Ay Sir!!!" Everyone on the bridge responded and proceeded to go to their separate sections, briefing them on the emergency op.

"Arashi 9-2 to Central, Arashi 9-2 to Central, targets should be emerging from the cloud barrier now, confirm visual acquisition, over."

"Central copies, confirming contacts... ... ... Negative contact, repeat, negative contact. Arashi 9-2 reconfirm target locations, over."

"Update on target's location, both target's are directly on the edge of the cloud barrier, moving with the spiral. Requesting permission to deploy preemptive strike on both targets, over."

"Negative on the last Arashi, continue observation."

"Roger"

"Hey Chest?" Lucio yelled.

"Yeah?" Chester yelled from under the dashboard, tools could be heard jingling about. "Kinda occupied over here! *CLICK* Ah! There we go, transmission to central screen restored. So what did you yell for?"

"Are you seeing 5 lines of high intensity clouds pointing towards the ship? Cause I am, and its freaking me out." Lucio said, "I'm connecting to central to let them know, the connection is fixed right?"

"Yeah, I see the 5 lines. And of course the connection is back!" Chester grunted, "Did you not hear me?"

"I was busy trying to figure out what those 5 lines are." Lucio replied, "Fire up the connec-"

As Lucio was telling Chester on what to do, the 5 lines on the screen started to converge on the ship.

"Uhhh... Chester, connect us right now. Central needs to know about this." Lucio scrunched up his face, turning to his friend.

"Connection has been established"

"Central, this is E-con, we have an update to the weather phenomenon."

"E-con, Central, no need for the report" A shaky voice replied, "We are experiencing it right now."

"Huh?"

Both Lucio and Chester were confused. The forecast was a future-cast, predicting the weather. The clouds shouldn't reach the ship so soon.

'What the fuck is going on' and similar statements were going through everyones minds.

Lightning could be seen striking the carrier and illuminating the clouds in an eerie pink flash. Where ever the lightning touched, a burnt mark appeared on the hull. No major damage could be seen nor calculated. Five large cloud masses extended from the barrier, turning into tornadoes as they crash into the ship.

"ALL HANDS BRACE FOR IMPACT" Vardan yelled into the intercom.

The tornados hit the carrier... Yet nothing happened. The impact everyone was bracing for never came. As Vardan looked out the windows the tornados were still there, fusing with the pink lightning and spreading across the carrier.

"What is going on?" Vardan murmurs, nothing in his many years as an admiral could prepare him for what was happening right now. A shrill voice broke the silence in the bridge.

"Central, scanners are showing an increase of radioactive energy around the ship!" Lucio reported, "A small amount of gamma-æ particles are being recorded on the scanner right now."

"E-con, is this confirmed?" Vardan responded, concerned that the recent events may have damaged the outer plating of the ship. "Is there any chance that it can phase into the ship?"

"Uh... initiating full scan of the ship, I will get back to you in 5 minutes." Lucio replies scrambling to a different machine. "So far, the scans indicate no breaches into the ship. Wait, the scanner is showing small engravings on the hull of the ship. Not deep enough to cause damage."

"If its not causing major damage, just what could its objective be?" Vardan mumbled, trying to come up with any explanation for this phenomenon.

What couldn't be seen on a scan could be seen on the outside. From the contact points from the tornados, clouds were crawling around the ship leaving small scratches on the hull and fitting into those scratches. Forming a grasp of some sort. As the clouds fully engulf the ship, a tendril of it shot up towards the recon jet, grasping it as well. Once everything was covered, an explosion of light detonated and engulfed both ship and aircraft. Illuminating a massive wormhole right above them. Once the light extinguished, the existence of Capital Ship Zephyr on planet earth finally disappeared.
