We Got Back Together!

Liu Rushi opened the door of her house and entered inside. As she saw everyone gathered in the living room, she gulped. The atmosphere of this room was gradually turning silent. When she removed her shoes and slightly kept her foot on the doorstep, it made a creaking sound.

She looked up and saw her family's different glares. Her mother approached her and asked "Where were you? We all were so much worried for you." Liu Manni hugged her daughter and escorted her inside in the living room.

Everyone looked at her with mixed expressions on their faces except for her Dad. Liu Jiangou had no expression on his face. Not only that, he hadn't even looked at his daughter since, the time she entered inside the house.

"I'm fine!" Liu Rushi answered slowly and her father stood up.

"It is late. Let us all go and sleep, now." Without talking or sparing Liu Rushi a glance, Liu Jiangou ordered everyone to go back to sleep and left the living room. He was glad that his daughter returned home and didn't go somewhere else with anger.

Liu Manni patted her daughter's back and went inside her room. After worrying them all so much, she wanted to know why her husband was acting like this.

Liu Zhang and her little sister also went inside. Yang Yue deeply sighed and hugged Liu Rushi. "I'm glad you have returned." She patted her back and suddenly, a different smell entered her nostrils.

It was like a man's cologne mixed with some alcohol.

"Were you with some guy?" Yang Yue asked doubtfully. She arched one brow towards Liu Rushi suspiciously.

Knowing that she have to say it one day or the other, she gave a nod.

"WHO?" Yang Yue was surprised. Unknowingly, she raised her voice and Liu Rushi pulled her into the kitchen. "If you say like that, everyone living in this house will come to know."

"I know that. But tell me.... Who is the guy? I even smell alcohol coming from you... Was it for one-night? Do I know him? How long have you guys been together?" Yang Yue started barging Liu Rushi with various questions.

She held Liu Rushi's hand and asked her being worried. She didn't wanted Liu Rushi to have one-night stands or ruin her life just because her father-in-law scolded her. She was Liu Rushi's sister-in-law but she treated her like her own sister.

She wanted Liu Rushi to be happy and not sad or regretful for the entire life.

"Calm down! Just calm down..." Liu Rushi instructed with her hands to be calm. She knew why Yang Yue was doing this. It was necessary... after all... the only one with whom Liu Rushi used to share everything was her sister-in-law.

Yang Yue wasn't acting annoyed or angry... it was just she was making sure that Liu Rushi was safe or not.

"I was with Lei Qingshan." Taking a deep breath, Liu Rushi answered. She knew that this answer would be like an explosive to her because... there was no way that Yang Yue would think that she was with Lei Qingshan.

And up of that, Liu Rushi and Lei Qingshan had broke off from their engagement in such a manner that everyone had started hating Lei Qingshan deeply through their hearts.

And now, knowing that Liu Rushi was with Lei Qingshan made Yang Yue really surprised. She was shocked to the core.

Nevertheless, she didn't wanted to hurt Liu Rushi by saying unexpected things so, she just asked a simple question "Why?"

"We both got back together." Liu Rushi blushed and showed the ring.

"But didn't you guys call off the engagement?"

"We did... But now... we got back together. I got to know him properly and realized that he was the one with whom I should be forever." Liu Rushi joyfully hugged her sister-in-law.

"You can find more better guys than him! It's a no from me..." As she hugged her sister-in-law... she heard a cold and harsh voice from behind them. She knew who it was.

Liu Rushi immediately let go of Yang Yue and turned around. "Why, Dad?"

"It is a No... So NO. Stop asking me further questions and go back to sleep." Liu Jiangou walked inside the kitchen and placed a white envelope on the table. "I want this paper on my desk by tomorrow!" He coldly instructed and started walking away.

As Liu Rushi took the envelope in her hand, she asked "What is this?"

"Your letter of resignation. We don't you need you starting from tomorrow." Liu Jiangou replied and walked back to his room.

Unable to bear what her father said, Liu Rushi took a step behind. She faltered and sat on the chair. Tears rolled down her cheek as what her father said repeated again and again in her mind.

Yang Yue came and hugged her. "Shh! It is okay. Whatever he is doing... he is doing for your betterment." She patted on Liu Rushi's back and comforted her.

Liu Rushi started to yell "Why can't I not do anything of my own wish or desire? Why does everyone holds me in their fist and make me do as they like? Why can't I not be independent and rely on my own?" Her father's words were just like a knife. She hadn't expected him to be this harsh. Saying No for Lei Qingshan and making her resign... What else did he wanted to do more to her?

"I will go and talk to him." She got up angrily and entered her father's bedroom.

As she saw her father awake, she sternly looked at him and commanded "Let's talk, Dad."
