Anger Is A Very Bad Thing And So, Is Stubbornness!

"Let's talk, Dad!" Liu Rushi walked closer to her father. She rested her hands on each side of her waist and said "We should really talk it out, Dad."

Liu Jiangou grunted and laid down on the bed. He pulled the blanket closer to his body and groaned "I have told you everything... There is nothing left to talk. Go sleep..."

Liu Rushi pulled the blanket and threw it on the floor. The instant cold air awakened Liu Rushi's mother.

She angrily looked at them and yelled "WHAT IS gOING ON WITH YOU TWO? WHY ARE YOU BOTH ACTING SO CHILDISH?"

Liu Rushi sighed. She took a deep breath and pulled her father by her hand. "I want to know why you are behaving like this... I really want to...."

"You can marry any guy... but you are not gonna get back with Lei Qingshan..." Liu Jiangou sternly ordered and again rested on the bed. Meanwhile, Liu Manni didn't know what was going on. She was completely confused. She looked at her husband and then at Liu Rushi.

Getting down from the bed, she pulled Liu Rushi by her hand and asked "Why is your Dad talking about Lei Qingshan? What marriage? What is going on?"

And in the midst of anger, Liu Rushi narrated everything to her mother. She told how her father scolded her... how she got back with Lei Qingshan and how her father was not agreeing on her getting married with him.

She said each and everything and Liu Manni's face heated up with anger and hurt. She looked at Liu Rushi with red teary eyes and asked "Don't you remember how that guy had treated you back then? It had hurt me to see my daughter crying on that day... And now, you want me to get you married with that same guy? No... Never! I would die but never put you in that fiery pit again."

Liu Rushi had thought that if her father wasn't supporting, maybe, her mother would support... And if her mother was to support, eventually her father was also, to support... But what was this?

Why was her mother also not supporting her?

"Mom, you also?" She asked with an almost cracked voice. Anymore and she would end up crying in front of them.

"Don't you guys want your daughter to be happy?" After taking a long pause, Liu Rushi asked the most awaited question she had kept in her mind. She truly wanted to know whether they wished for her happiness or not...

Hearing this, Liu Manni hugged her daughter and consoled her. "Of course! We want you to be happy! If our sun doesn't shines then, how can we live?" She gently patted on her head to calm her down.

Liu Rushi held her mother's hand and said while looking in her mother's eyes "If you want your sun to shine... then, let me marry him!"

The moment the words escaped from Liu Rushi's mouth, a tight slap resonated on her face. She held her cheek which was slapped and looked at her mother with a mixture of feelings... She was hurt but at the same time felt disgusted.. She was surprised...

Now, she felt lonely... She became broke... Her heart ached as the pain vibrated.

She looked at her mother with blurry eyes. That was it! She wasn't anymore able to hold her tears. One after the other, they kept on coming out of her eyelids like the running river.

She took one last look at her parents and rushed out of the room holding her cheek.

"Why did you... slap her?" As he saw his daughter leave, Liu Jiangou got out of the bed and kept his hand on Liu Manni's shoulder.

Feeling her husband's touch, Liu Manni turned around and immediately hugged him. She burst up crying. "This was the first time I slapped her... All this years, this hand was just used to caress her, touch her, comfort her but today... it hurt her!"

"It is okay. Maybe once in a while, we can scold or hit them... So, just don't cry!" Liu Jiangou hugged her back and patted on her head. Even he had tears in his eyes. The sound of the slap was still vibrating in his ears.

He felt sorry for his daughter and wished that his daughter could have loved someone else rather than him...

No parents would want to see their children get hurt again and no parents would want to hurt them. They just love them and care for them...

But for those children who become stubborn, it becomes difficult to understand what their parents want for them..

And so, was Liu Rushi... She was getting stubborn day by day due to her parent's continuous affection and care. She was getting spoiled. There love and care was so much that now, even if her parents scolded or hurt her... she cried!

Days went by... And the atmosphere of the house was still the same - cold and distant!

To avoid being seen by her parents, Liu Rushi changed her timing. She didn't wanted to see her father at work or be reminded of the incident that happened on that day, so, she resigned from work.

Now, she wanted to forget everything and move on... She wasn't going to give up on confronting her parents. She was just going to give up on not talking with them or eating with them...

She was just missing it all. Missing everything... like how they used to eat together, talk together, play together.. She wanted those days back.

So, she had decided to forget all that until...

She got a notification from her office chatroom. She looked at the message and was shocked "Manager Ji resigned today. Ahh! He was such a good manager... But he resigned (sigh)."

As she read it, all those feelings which she had of giving up... immediately went away. She angrily opened the door of her father's study and asked

"Why did you make Manager Ji resign?"
