chapter 2

mr Cameron was busy conveying his thoughts to himself in the form of reality, while, miss lana of treasure house showed up. her smile scattered over the place like the blossomes of spring.

her pace kept going on until unless she've had stopped by mr Cameron. she trespassed the conversation to meet him.

it was the tragedy somehow that miss lana was eager to meet such a man, but, the man kept himself in a vessel of secrecy.

she stopped at the very least and greeted a very warm joy.

"good morning! mr Cameron."

"oh! hi miss lana."

the lady smiled with such gravity that none could've hindered her.

with the very least conversation, he returned his feet to the home where miss alina was waiting for him. The young man was stolen by that lady again. Although, his belly was in demand of something to eat, hence the bakery shop was perfect.

"there you are."

the conflicted feelings of the boy turned soft when the voice entered his ears.

it was his day, even a little luck that brought him such an information. he was eager to know more while he entered the bakery shop.

thus his choice, when he asked for some sweats, with some queries to ask.

"should I embark on a new expedition? I heard some new information from adventurers, and I want to know more so that I can find some clues about my father's research. eventhough I'm in a dark about his death but I'm more concerned about some secrets that he buried under his grave."

that dense look on his face gave the creeps hence miss alina calmed him down a bit.

the day passed like nothing and here he still count his father's miseries as a dept on him.

he came at home to prepare for the journey as he was informed. it was not the first time when he stepped out of his town. although, most of his time would pass by exploring the wild grounds of outside world.

he packed his leather bag with some things. along with, he put a book in his bag and embraced a knife that was given to him by his father.

he put his words on will and embarked by the morning when the sun crawled to the top of head.

he was fading from the town in green alleys. the air crossed his charming his pledge to the exploration he started.

walked he, the path of unknown truth even so, his devotion to every step claimed a victory and barging into the realm of uncertainty.

the clouds were clever this instant and his eyes were set on the destination. the dawn must be ruthless to create a grim which serve non but struggle to the man.

his hands were fixated on the glory he shall achieve, when he crossed the midst of the high lands, he found grim paths.

walked he, without any fear and finding the climax of his very own search. The day was passing by like sand slipping through fist.

suddenly he saw some adventurers heading towards a village. they were talking simultaneously and suddenly, one brought a topic of the old man from the same village. Cameron turned himself into the chat interestingly.

"good afternoon gentlemen, can I have a moment of yours?"

The adventurers were coming from a quest hence Cameron stopped them. he asked for the for more information and in result he found a village known as 'Brinhndlar' nearby. the old man they were referring to was a former guard of the city. he served thirty years on the gate protecting the kingdom of 'Alderamin'. it was soon out that once he met mr Cameron's father during the days of war.

Cameron knocked the door and instead the old man answered with wavering voice.

"who is it?"

"umm.. I'm Cameron, came here to receive some information about mr garrison."

The old man opened the door briskly when he heard the name garrison. he was looking desperate to talk as he opened the door he saw a young man.

"Enter young fella."

He recognized such attitude and fame instantly while the old man turned his head towards the table.

the symphony was maintained as it was, Cameron asked but the first question. his voice remained eager while talking to that old man.

the man himself was befriended by Cameron's father. the fate was precise as it shall, hence there were only questions and answered all over.

The young boy Cameron brought the subject of his father's death. the reaction of both of them were predictable, still the query remained.

the chat concluded nothing less but the hands were still empty. while Cameron started pacing his steps without any delay the old man suggested him some things.

Cameron was told that the place he was looking for is not an easy task. warning the young boy he suggested that the death could knock the doors anytime. first he shall find the stone of death 'gargon', the stone his father spend the life searching for.

His eyes were on the way and foots were very fast.

it was going to be night and he needed to find any place to stay.

it was the matter of time when he came across a tavern. it was lucky of him that he hadn't crossed the village yet.

"well... I've got to spend the night." sighed he.

the very feet of his entered the tavern. He had a sum of money to spend and a night to share his griefs.

he sat at a table as soon as he entered.

His mind was worn out due to travelling. However, he was managing somehow.

The tavern was full of choices. Cameron was looking for a room to stay while he noticed one through waitress.

"can you help me?"

he asked one of them, and was given a room. the night was shattered all over through the sky. Cameron was still crumbling through the thoughts.

while the day showed up. it can't be said that sleep was perfect but good enough to make him back on the journey.

Cameron followsd the nice coming from ground floor and he rushed into some girls. those girls were working there. At morning, they always set up the duties for everybody but this time they lacked one member. so they were deciding to whome to pass that errand.

"can I help?"

A humble voice as he got down from his room. the commotion was all about the place, so he assisted those girls.

He asked one of the girls about the absentee.

"Her name is Susan, she worked here for long time. three days ago when she left the tavern, she never came. we tried to get in contact with her somehow, but her parents were also in dark. they say it's the night crawler who took her. it's a spirit that wonder around for souls."

the suspicion arouse like a storm in Cameron's mind.

he was confirmed that something peculiar was happening in this town or in might be.. related to the death stone. the rumors were all around that the stone expresses the power to control beings.

while Cameron was sharping his eyes, he waited for the moment that he had now. He bestowed himself to help the lady if possible, and he left at sudden.
