chapter 3

Through the rumors, Cameron embarked upon his next conquest. his motive was clear from the moment he woke up and opened his eyes to the deepest sorrow of his life.

He was informed by a girl from tavern that there is something that might interest him, although the villagers were quite terrified to go themselves.

Those woods were not just the woods of shades, but the forest of trade, trade with the lives.

"I think I'm up for this now, although I don't now yet if i will be able to find anything."

Cameron looked his way and before long gone, he gulped the remaining good.

the entire village was like a different place, as he moved into the woods, his heart pounded and he was feeling suspicious.

"what is this place?" talked he to himself.

"I've never seen a forest like this before."

his way was full of thorns and accompanied, a knife which was lift to him by his father. As he moved along the wind, he saw some broken blades.

he looked down, and then up for a while. he checked his surrounding and then moved.

Alone he was, and never he torn apart from his own self. He kept dragging himself into the depths of dark woods.

it was uncertain how much deep he could go, but for the sake of information he received, he had no choice but to embark.

It was up till a disturbance that very eco of his footsteps faided away with sound of a roar.

Thus, he stopped for a bit, and observed. the sound was so loud that he can hear it from the village.

Not a single bone of his moved, unless the sound of that roar kept closing.

"oh God! what this could be?"

Such shallow voice, and yet it sounded like a bad dream of a seeker. The very eco of the sound must be terrifying, but still, in the heart, that being would be struggling with something.

Cameron heard it very attentively, and thus, he gave his only intelligence to such matter. He stood there and waited, for the moment to face this creature.

He questioned himself, could this be some grief that the creature must endure? or he is compelled by his heart to do so. both the conditions, and he carried his eyes to gaze upon the frightening one.

"wow! fast.. fast.. its fast." yelled he.

while the creature attacked vigorously, Cameron moved his feet fast and casted a magic spell. thus, the creature started returning to it's original form.

"w..what? where am I?"

And the creature turned out to be a man who had been abducted while transporting woods. he was demonized by some men.

"a..hey! are you alright?

"...do you remember anything?"

"I was carrying some woods and then some magic users..."

Some terrified he was, and yet his trust was falling apart from magic users. Cameron was quite good in cleansing but when he saw such man, a though jumped into his mind.

he was puzzled and lost in thoughts, as he continued on helping the stranger.

He matched his eye to the jungle and inched towards the grave of his own. The woods were unpleasant and giving the strange vibe. The winds were also cold, the trees were faded like in the air and the the sound of footsteps were echoing everywhere.

The soil was bloodthirsty and woods were considered as the ferocious ones this instant.

While moving inwards the forest, Cameron sensed an aura. A strange one.

He started mumbling in thoughts. It wasn't any normal aura, but the sense of presence of demon itself.

He wanted to stop but cannot.

"What's this aura?...I can sense it's viscosity".

he said. the man he saved was behind him.

"By the way.!! what's your name and whare did you come from?"

"I..aa..I'm from the village close by. my name is soja." said man.

"How did you turn into that creature?...was that even you?" asked Cameron.

man said,"I don't know, I was just carrying some wood and..."

SHHHH!!!!

The fogg got denser and something started to feel off. Cameron got attentive for that moment. he wouldn't want to rush if there's a beast or some heavy magic user.

Cameron was good at magic because he reads books all the time. All the aside, he wanted to investigate what had led this man to turn into a beast. And this aura was also heavier than usual, it must be connected to the previous incident.
