Cheer Up (Jimin)

Prologue: You and Jimin have been together for 2 years now. You were a kindergarten teacher and met Jimin while you were at the park with the kids. One of the kids who was his fan recognised him and so he spent the afternoon with them. He was so good with them that you couldn't help but admire him. At the end of the day the two of you exchanged phone numbers and started off as friends. But soon developed feelings for each other as Jimin confessed with the help of kids. The relationship was made official by the company a year later. You got real close to the other members soon.

Scene,

You were at the playground looking after the kids.

"Teach, are you okay?" Min Ha-ri, one of the kids asks you.

"I'm fine." You answer, bending down to her height.

"Is Jimin-gun coming today?" Ha-ri asks you.

"Oh Ha-ri-ya... Jimin is not here. He's on his tour." You remind her.

"Oh that's right. But wasn't he supposed to come today?" Another kid, Nam Ji-Hyun asks.

"He was but the tour got extended." You explain.

"Does this mean we won't be able to play with him?" Ha-ri asks looking at the ground, sad. Making your heart clench.

"You can play when he gets here. He did promise you guys that didn't he?" You say trying to Cheer them Up.

"But teach you're sad too aren't you?" Ji-Hyun asks, looking at you.

"Of course I am. But I have you guys here to Cheer me Up." You tell them.

"Yes Teach! We are here so Cheer Up!" Ha-ri says, smiling brightly at you.

"Of course. Now go ahead and play." You tell them.

"Teach, you come and play with us too." Ji-hyun says, pulling your hand. You smile and let them drag you away. Truth was you were really upset about Jimin's extended tour. It's already been 3 months since you last saw each other, other than video calls, what with his comeback preparations and all. And just a few days back you guys got into an argument and so you haven't contacted him at all.

The classes get over soon and you bid goodbye to them all. After the last kid was out, you start cleaning the room. Taking care of kids and 25 at that was a little hectic and messy. You wipe away all the paint spills etc and put all the toys back in it's boxes. You didn't have to do it all but you didn't want to go home so anything to delay it. You start cleaning the board. A soft knock on the door interrupts your cleaning. You walk towards the door and open it to find Ha-ri and Ji-Hyung standing there.

"What are you two doing here? Didn't you go home?" You ask the two, confused.

"We did but we forgot our toys here." Ji-hyun answers.

"Oh I just finished cleaning up. I didn't find any." You tell him.

"We were playing outside, with it." Ha-ri says.

"Oh, do you want to look for it?" You ask the two who nod their head. "You mind if Teach joins you?" You ask them, hesitating of letting them out of your sight.

"Not at all Teach!" They say shaking their heads.

"Okay then let's go." You say holding each of their hands and leading them towards the playground. Once there the three of you split apart to cover more ground. You make sure to keep the two always on your sight. Making sure they were fine and safe while at the same time searching for the toy too. After searching for a few minutes more, you decide it was enough for now. It was getting late and you had to send the two kids home before it gets late. You turn around to tell them this when you notice a toys hand sticking out of a bush. You walk closer and find a plane next to the doll, realising that it was the toy the kids were looking for.

"Ha-ri-ya, Ji-hyun-ah." You call out and once catching their attention say, "I think I found your toys." You beam.

"Yay!" The kids cry out excitedly, running towards you. You walk towards the bush and m grab the toys but when you give them a tug they don't come out. You pull harder when suddenly something jumps out of the bush, scaring you to death.

"Aaaahhhhh~" it screams causing you to scream as well, and fall backwards on the ground.

"Kyaaaa~~"

Once you manage to calm your heart enough you notice that the beast that scared, who's now laughing after giving you a mini heart attack was none other than your boyfriend. You blink rapidly, making sure that indeed was your boyfriend who was standing before, the boyfriend who's your got extended for another week and was in Spain.

"Jimin???" You ask, still trying to steady your frantic heartbeats.



"Sorry y/n." He apologises crouching down before you. "I would say I didn't mean to scare you but I did mean to do so." He says, giving you a sheepish grin.

"Your here?" You ask, still not believing and wondering if you fell asleep while you were cleaning and all this was a dream.

"I'm here." Jimin says, smiling at you, making your finally calm heart beat faster as he guides your hand towards his cheek and places it there, his warm hands over yours. You feel the soft skin of his under you skin, with a stubble hint of growing facial hair making it a bit prickly. You slightly pinch his cheek. "Ow! What did you do that for?" He groans, rubbing his cheek.

"Was just making sure that you are really here." You answer.

"And?" Jimin asks, looking at you expectantly.

"You're really here." You say.

"I am. And besides if you wanted to make sure that it wasn't a dream all you had to do was pinch yourself, why do it to me?" He asks.

"Because it would hurt." You answer, simply.

"And it won't hurt me?" Jimin asks, incredulous.

"Stop being a baby and besides what are you doing here?" You ask him, brushing his question off.

"Well I'm here to Cheer Up a certain girlfriend of mine." He states.

"You didn't need to. I was already Cheered Up thanks to the kids." You say.

"Well the kids told me that their Teach was down the dumps the whole day and needed some immediate Cheering Up." Jimin says looking at the two kids behind you. You turn around to find the two grinning widely at the two of you.

"You two called him?" You ask the kids who immediately shake their head, no.

"We were going home when we saw Jimin-gun standing outside the gate." Ji-hyun answers.

"And.. and he asked us about you and we told him that you were sad that he wasn't here. Just like us." Hae-ri explains.

"Oh." You nod and turn to face your boyfriend once again. "What are you doing here Jimin? Is the tour done?" You ask him.

"Not really it's still going on." Jimin says, rubbing the nape of his neck, nervously.

"Then what are you doing here, shouldn't you be with the other members?" You ask him confused.

"I am on leave." Jimin answers.

"For how many days?" You ask him.

"I have a flight back at night so a couple of hours." Jimin replies.

"What? So soon??" You ask him confused.

"Jimin-gun, you are leaving? Won't you play with us?" Hae-ri asks him, pouting.

"No dear. I still have some work left to do but I promise to come back soon and play with you." Jimin says smiling down at the girl.

"Promise?" Hae-ri asks raising her pinky finger and Jimin curls his own around hers.

"Yup." Jimin nods.

"Hae-ri."

"Ji-hyun!"

You hear two voices calling out tanking all 4 of you turn towards them. It turns out to be Ji-hyun and Hae-ri's parents. You bow respectfully at them as the two kids run towards their parents.

"Thank you Hae-ri and Ji-hyun for your help." Jimin calls out to them.

"No problem." Ji-hyun waves.

"Cheer Up Teach, Jimin-gun is here now." Hae-ri smiles brightly at you waving, making you blush. The two of you watch as the kids walk out of the kindergarten with their parents. Once they are out of sight you turn back towards your boyfriend.

"Why did you come here, just for a few hours?" You ask him.

"Well you weren't the only one who needed some Cheering up. I was sulking as I missed you lots and after the argument I was just about to go crazy! I needed to see you so I caught a flight and I'm here." Jimin answers.

"But didn't you say that every moment was precious during the tour?" You ask him, making him take a step forward towards you and envelop you in his arms.

"Yes But you are just as equal if not more precious to me." He says, kissing your temple.

"I missed you." You whisper pulling him closer.

"I missed you too. Lots. Let's not ever fight again." He says and you pull yourself away just an inch and give him a look. "Okay, fight but no not seeing each other for days. Deal?" He says, smiling.

"Deal." You return his smile. He leans closer and kisses you passionately. Letting you know through the kids how much he missed you and you reply equally with the same fervour. The two of you pull away to get some much needed air into your lungs.

"It's so nice to hold you." Jimin whispers, kissing your nose.

"You mean kiss me." You correct him.

"Gladly." He smirks before pecking your lips, making you blush.

"I meant that you are glad to be kissing me rather than holding me." You explain.

"Oh. Well I got a kiss out of it so can't say it's not true." He smiles cheekily at you.

"Pervert." You smack his chest, lightly.

"Only for you." Jimin nods.

"It better be." You chuckle. "So feeling Cheered up yet?" You ask him.

"Well I would if I can get another kiss." Jimin teases.

"Jimin!" You exclaim, embarrassed making him laugh. "All I need is you in my arms and I'm Cheered Up." He states pecking your cheeks, making you hum.

"What about you? Feeling Cheered Up?" He asks.

"If I say no?" You ask him.

"Then I'll have to tell the two kids regrettably that I failed in my mission of Cheering Up their Teach." He says, making you laugh. "I'm serious." You raise your hands up and slowly caress his cheeks.

"Your here. That's all I need. So Captain Kirk you can call your Cheer Up mission a success." You tell him with a bright smile on your face.

"I'm glad." He says pulling you closer to him.

"Love you Park Jimin." You whisper.

"Love you F/N L/N." He kisses your forehead softly.

"I think we had enough Cheering Up. And not to forget you're here only for a few hours and so let's not let it go to waste." You tell him.

"Well I know a way we can utilise the hours efficiently." Jimin says, smirking making you blush scarlet.

"Yah, Park Jimin?" You yell.

"What? I was just suggesting we go for a movie. What were you thinking?" Jimin teases.

"Nothing. A movie sounds nice. Let's go." You try changing the subject but your boyfriend was like a dog with a bone.

"We will. We will. Now first, what were you thinking about? Tell me. Tell me." Jimin sings.

"I said it's nothing. Let it go." You huff.

"I would but I'm sure that whatever it is you were thinking about will be really good." Jimin smirks, knowing very well what you were thinking about.

"You're here to Cheer me up, right?  Would you rather have me pissed off with you? You do want to watch movie don't you?" You ask him, irritated.

"I do, but I think whatever you were thinking about would be more fun. We can try doing that instead." Jimin teases.

"You know what? Your mission is a bust and I'm going to watch a movie alone." You say turning around to walk away.

"Eh? Wait y/n! I'm sorry. I won't tease you anymore." Jimin calls out after you, but you ignore him. He runs after you, making you smile.

"I don't believe you." You chuckle walking faster. Both of you knew that you were only kidding.

As long as your with me I'm always.. Cheered up!
