Changes Everywhere

Lain silently appeared in the skies above the Goblin World and stepped down as if invisible stairs were there to support him or maybe that was the case. When one's power surpasses even the limits, inconceivable things are mere toys that bend at one's will.

Down below were the many helpless and soulless goblins working for what seems like a thankless job, unfortunately, Lain was not looking at them or was his mind even in this world.

Lain was wondering if he was the one truly in control or was his body? What happened with Ainese had opened his mind but made him cautious as well; how could he betray Gaia after falling so deeply in love with her? Was he so fickle as to jump on any opportunity with women that he gets? How will his children look at him, let alone his grandchildren?

Thoughts flash through his mind yet no solution emerged. Signing, Lain finally took at the world for the first time and didn't feel shocked or angry at the unnecessary cruelty he was seeing. Perhaps this was just how cold his body was, no matter how much suffering exists in the world, as long as it doesn't involve what he loves, he wouldn't be affected.

His golden eyes flash with divine light as he scanned the lifeforms around. Back in Yggdrasil, goblins had always been depicted as savage unintelligent creatures, with only a few rare powerful creatures appearing amongst them.

He remembered back when the Race Creation Dev was creating the World Bosses, he wanted to create a Goblin World Boss however he changes his mind and instead created many sub-races such as hobgoblins, goblin shaman, etc, the strongest amongst the goblins sub-race, however, is the Goblin Conquerors, who while not as strong as World Boss are more troublesome as they were commanders who lead a surge of lesser goblins. It was the buff that they have their subordinates that made them a truly strong contender for the seat of power amongst the many powerful races of Yggdrasil.

What shocked Lain though was that goblins, the weak and unintelligent creature in Yggdrasil, would become a race that dominates an entire world, it was only as big as one of his worlds, which means it was as big as Earth, the world he was born in. The importance he places on this world and this race increases drastically before dropping again as he looks at the place instead of its inhabitants.

The culture was primitive, still in the Stone Age with some signs of advancing but not quite there. Technology was none existent but could grow given enough time. No concise systematic management, no clear order, just brutal and fear enforced division. According to his knowledge, in a few years, this world would have destroyed itself even before outside forces had been introduced. Society itself would be destroyed, which means the people, the world would be remade and gain new inhabitants in the place of the goblins.

No matter how he looked at this world and even with the strongest person he could sense, this world was very barren and undesired by even him, someone who could easily change a world in a better direction. This word had absolutely no value at all, these goblins were too weak, the world couldn't support what he planned for it, all he saw was him giving this world to Lucifer to attempt his Nine Tier Abyss, which means a world could be discarded as a result.

Cupping his chin as he walked across the land, Lain's eyes began to glow as he started to pick places where he would create upon after the world was conquered. After much thought, he decides that it would be interesting to see how the natives of this universe compare to his creations.

Would they be bound to the rules Yggdrasil had if he placed them under his rule? Or will they merge their system with Yggdrasil becoming extremely powerful or will they remain as they are?

After walking all over the world, Lain only found a couple of places he could build things, and even then the place was not good by any means just better than the rest of the land or area by a small margin.

'Eh? Yama broke away from his army and descended before them? What is his plan? I guess it's an interesting time to witness his Divine Authority in action. What is going on!! Even Riana and Raul descend before their army, what are they doing. Yama and Raul's action could be summed up to being confident but Raina is still too young and inexperienced in wars and battle, she cannot be harmed.' Lain eyes turned golden as he looked in the distance and saw faint silhouettes of shadows appearing in front of his children, each leading them in a different direction.

'Oh, so that's how it's.' Lain eyes dim and remain golden orbs that nodded as he looked away. 'Everyone is doing their part but for me; while I can't use my powers here less I destroyed the world, I will use [Rule Creator] to find the location of the strongest around so the armies and my children can kill them, maybe they can gain experience.'

Opening his right hand, Lain activates [Rule Creator: The strong cannot hide while the weak remain in plain sight.]

An ancient invisible power that only Lain could see surge from his hand and covered the world before converging at a location in the area that seems like a portal to another world.

'Hmm, these beings are not worthy of me fighting them, so I will send this location to my children. I can't go on like this, it seems I must create the Chaos Avatar, I need to be able to affect the world, unlike how I'm using Unknowable to remain invisible. I leave this world to you all my family.' A Gate appeared followed by Lain disappearing and appearing in the Golden Nation.

Since he created the Legion of Conquest, the Divine Continent was less noisy but an intense sense of pride and desire was present. The children and the elderly that were left behind began to train and polish their skills for when they are called to battle by the Emperor.

Arriving in the Golden Nation, he arrived in the realm of gods where his palace was located, hovering above the gods. This was the first time he had set foot on the continent of gods and he could sense a slight loneliness present in it, it was one of the most powerful places in the World Tree yet it was the only one that was incomplete.

Frowning a little, Lain pondered before pointing at the empty air in front of him, activating a skill, " I'm the Supreme God, and now, gods will walk this continent, making this title something that doesn't represent me. I'm also the Emperor, however, Rauls's path is to rule, I cannot hinder his growth, so I cannot be Emperor. Why would I need to be an Emperor? I don't need to cultivate something that will exist regardless of my activities such as loyalty and devotion. The NPC will always put their life lower than my own, they would die for me if asked." Lain's eyes started to change to a constant color scheme that changed none stop; seeming to stare at the rules of the world.

As Lain words echo in the Golden Nation, and a pool emerges from his body, turning into a pitch-black orb that suspends over the Golden Nation, resting just beneath the towering palace of Lain.

" I am the strongest in the World Tree, this will always be the case. While many will approach my level of power which will be called Grand Creator level, they will not be equal to me in might, it's impossible. No one will be able to have infinite strength or mana without my knowledge, after all, only my race which I am the originator of can have those things. I have skills that cannot be grasped by others, even the gods of the World Tree, I'm the definition of unfathomable as the eternal well of chaos. However, even those things pale in front of the power only I can grasp, the power of rules. Any rules I want excluding a few can be done, I am the Rule Creator, one that creates the rules of a universe in the past, how can I be a simple Emperor or God? From henceforth, my title no matter which world shall be The Creator of Rules Lain End Chaos!!." As his words echoed, it seemed to travel everywhere in an instant, as temples worshiping the Supreme God or Emperor shattered and disappeared as a new one took its place. There was no statue inside the new temples, instead, there was a hand that seemed to be writing something down, it seems simple but everyone knew that even such a gesture would cause destruction in many places or the opposite.

The clergymen were confused as to why the most exalted temples have been destroyed and replaced. However, they soon calmed down as they received divine messages from the Creator of Rules; which made them happy and relieved. However, some were curious as to the reason for the change in the Divine Emblem, no answer was given and this began a legend of its own.

Back in the Golden Nation, Lain didn't care for the changes in the world as he was too focused. "This continent needs gods, however, I need them to not have knowledge of the other worlds other than the Golden World, less interfere in things they shouldn't be doing interfering in. Divine battles would start however this shouldn't happen until each world had truly become a deep ocean of powerhouses. These gods will be unlike the gods I have created previously, they will be Totem Gods, gods that exist because of what they represent. They will be able to send their powers to people who worship them but they need to gain followers. Because of not having knowledge of the other worlds, I will create a divine pond in each house in the realm of gods, the gods when they get a temple erect will be able to see what happens in the location their faith is strong, they will be able to create miracles by using apostles." As he spoke, although he didn't activate his [Rule Creator skill, he was able to make a law for the entire World Tree.

The black pond of chaos bubbles up and bursts as it starts to spin, turning into a black hole that seems to lead to the abyss. Energy began to surge into the depths of the black hole before spitting out different colored eggs each with different insignias on the shells.

After spitting out approximately a hundred eggs, the black holes stop spinning and become dormant. As it slowly built up energy, but one could tell it would take a long time.

*Golden World will henceforth only represent the World, Divine Continent is the world below the Golden Nation where the Divine Clansmen live. Golden Nation is where the gods live.*

At the same time, this was happening, while most of the mortals didn't know what had happened, the gods surely did. They sense a change in the rules, a change they couldn't sum up in one word, however, they sense their powers faintly change and they could sense their followers for the first time. Priests and Priestess could feel their god's presence through prayer and talk to them. The power of the churches and religions of the gods became even more unfathomable, making many ambitious people wonder what happened.

The many eggs sat peacefully on the hard ground, pulsing like a heartbeat.

Lain observed the eggs created by his Chaos Birth Skill. The eggs didn't seem much different from how it was described in the game, however as he remembered, after using the skill, the chaos pond, now the black hole would disappear to be summoned a month later, however, the black hole still remained. It seems the game rules didn't fully carry over and some things had changed.

Chaos Birth Skill is a racial skill of Chaos Titans and was extremely powerful.

According to the lore created for the Chaos Titans, they were the first thing to emerge from chaos, some even argue that they are the embodiment of chaos itself. After them, many other lifeforms emerge, creating the universe while the Chaos Titan fades from their minds and the universe itself.

Chaos Titans represent the beginning of a universe and will leave after the universe was born.

While other races can have children, Chaos Titans couldn't normally as they were only ever one Chaos Titan, let alone two from different sex. To solve this problem, in the lore the Chaos Titans had the Chaos Birth Skill which can create Chaos Giants, who are so weak they could barely be called beings of the same bloodline as Chaos Titans. They would all be at the level of gods in the World Tree classification of levels upon birth and could get stronger but the limit is level 200. The process would take many years since the game became real, after all a few years in the game had translated to thousands of years for the NPCs.

The Chaos Giants would be weakened further by having one set path either magic or battle skills, and can only have one chosen path like fire magic or sword skills, If they tried to learn something outside their predestined paths, they would suffer harm and might even die.

There were so many weaknesses that they possessed, which means even if they reach level 200, they would be hard-pressed to fight and beat True World Gods.

Observing all the eggs, Lain noticed one of the eggs were smaller than the others, but it possessed the strongest force. On the surface of the egg, an arrow insignia was engraved, making it obviously a god of archery.

Thinking for a second, Lain placed his hand on the egg and poured some of his mana in the egg, causing it to become stronger and more bright. The egg emitted rainbow light that drowns the other eggs around it.

Pulling his hand away, he noticed the egg had become two times stronger and the egg had a new insignia of wind on it, making it a dual attribute God.

"You will be the ruler of the Golden Nation, you will lead the other gods to greatness. Your name shall be…." Lain teleported to his throne room and signed as he sat down. He was tired, even though such things are insignificant for a being like him.

While tired, he wasn't willing to go on like this, not being able to participate in wars with his children, thus he spoke, Chaos Avatar, blacking out as a massive amount of power escaped his body….
