Jae Hwa held up her hand, studying it carefully. It was covered in cuts and bruises from earlier, and her head was violently throbbing. She leant back down against the pillow, closing her eyes, as the pain only got more intense.

She wondered how she always ended waking up in this apartment after incidents like this. She couldn't remember dragging herself over there, and she highly doubted the thugs would bring her in after almost beating her to death.

She forced herself to sit up, using all of her strength. She was sore and she could really feel the resistance her body made.

She winced as her bare feet touched the floor. It was cold and it sent a jolt through her body.

She quickly looked around her, making sure she didn't forget any of her belongings before quietly making her way out of the apartment.

The cold autumn wind hit her like gunshots when she opened the door and stepped out of the building. She looked down at what she was wearing, slightly regretting the choice of not wearing anything else than her bloody school uniform.

Jae Hwa frowned as she wrapped her arms around her body. She had to start listening to herself, and stop fighting with everyone. It was starting to become quite bothersome. She had herself to blame though.

"You need to learn, Jae Hwa," she whispered to herself as she wandered down the street in the cold autumn morning.
