Jae Hwa studied the glowing tip of her cigarette as she inhaled the toxic smoke. She had promised herself to quit, to never light a cigarette again, much to her dissatisfaction she couldn't fulfil that promise.

She only smoked when she felt the need to; usually it was when she felt sad and angry.

Jae Hwa snapped out of her trance when she heard the door open and close. She turned around to face the boy that stole her cigarettes the other day. Kim Seokjin

"Oh, it's you," she mumbled before turning back to study her cigarette. He threw his backpack beside hers and sat down on the edge.

"It's me," he said chuckling. Jae Hwa didn't find it funny, but chose to crack a smile out of politeness.

Seokjin grabbed her hand all of a sudden, his innocent eyes looking deep into hers.

"Didn't I tell you these were bad for you?" he asked as he grabbed the cigarette that were resting between her long fingers.

Jae Hwa stuffed her hands in her jacket pockets and nodded her head.

"I guess you did."

He sighed as he threw it away. "Not only does it smell like toxic poisonous gas, but it also shortens your life length," he huffed.

She chuckled as she shook her head lightly. He was damn serious and she found it kind of cute that he cared enough to take them away from her.

Seokjin held out his palm. Jae Hwa looked at it with a puzzled look. What was he doing?

"Give me all of your cigarettes," he demanded.

She gasped in horror. He wanted all of them. Bloody hell. How would she get through the day after this?

"All of them? Why?" she asked shocked.

He motioned her to give them to him first. Jae Hwa sighed as she picked up the last two packs she had and placed them in his hand.

"I want you to stop smoking. It's bad for you," he said seriously.

She groaned. Why did she even give them to him? She didn't have to. She was just dumb.

"Why do you even care? You don't even know me," she admitted. Seokjin sent her a comforting smile.

"Because I care about you," he said honestly, as he held his hand on his heart.

She couldn't help, but wonder why though. Why did he care about her?
