Channa Mereya
Channa Mereya is a song which is close to almost every Indian's heart. The word channa mereya basically mean, "my beloved." In this song, the hero couldn't convey his love to the heroin on time and now she's marrying someone else. So he's singing this song, which he wrote for her, as he takes his leave from her wedding. The soul of this song is in it's lyrics, so some of you may not understand it, but I humbly request you to still give it a listen. I'll use Google translate to convert some of it's lines into English.
In Hindi, the lyrics are

The lines mean,

These hit all the right spots of a person's heart, and Arijit Singh is considered one of the best singers of Bollywood because of singing this. Another set of lines which are my personal favorite are,

Damn... I feel this song Soo much... This leaves me speechless every time I listen to it. 😢. And the reason I chose this song today is, because I listed to it yesterday. I don't listen to this song just anytime I want. Only when I need to drown my sorrows with more sorrws.(sounds stupid, but that's how I do it.) I've been going through an emotionally rough patch recently and I couldn't take it anymore. I took my "thoughts notebook" and wrote down all the sentences in the form of quotes that came to my mind. The reason of this outburst, which resulted in a comparatively calmer brain later, was this song. And hence, the name of this chapter.
So I'll write some of the quotes I wrote last night. They are my thoughts and are authentic, so please don't copy them. And since they are my emotions, I hope you won't criticize.
