Is that a Bird?

As Jason stood up so does Lia's heart jump out of her ribs.

She tried to keep intact of her appearance on the outside, but on the inside sparks where flying from her brain trying to come up with a plan.

Although, she is indeed a talented women in business, she was a boorish student who had not interest and skills whatsoever in the realm of arts. That's why in her teenage years, she was quite the boorish person.

The only thing that she liked was to study, clean and organize things, plan out charts and data in her head, and read books. She was that kind of person.

That's why she was not confident to directly jump into these whole process of acting, more of being in a trainee in an entertainment agency, yeah sure, with a degree in business plus with no experiences nor credentials in theatrical arts to top that? Uhm hello? No thanks y'all.

She was not one to jump right in without any preparations or plans in mind.

That's why she wanted to be a 'watcher' in this new whole world of entertainment because she still had time. Enough time before the whole novel starts.

"So what will you be performing?" Lia was awakened to her stupor by Sasha's voice. She almost thought she was the one Sasha was asking. She blew a small breath of relief deep inside.

You ask if she was nervous? Yes, she definitely was. But Lia won't admit to that, she had her so called 'reputation and pride'.

She stopped thinking because it was giving her a headache together with her 'slight' nervousness to top that, she just decided to blank her thoughts out to give herself a peace of mind, as well as to calm her thoughts.

For now, she just stared at Jason, also quite worried for himself. I mean, I guess, she was also distracti- ehem readying herself for a 'good' show. She was curious as to what these seedling could entertain her with.

"Uhm, I'm going t-to dance."

As Lia was staring intently at him, she was very much curious and interested that she actually waned to get a popcorn to munch on, Jason said that he was going to dance.

Good thing she wasn't really munching on popcorn or else the bits and pieces of popcorn would have been coughed out of her mouth.

The only thing that would show outside though was that her arms propping up her arms slipped a little. Due to either shock or embarrassment she kinda looked away. Well, she was hoping nobody saw that and good thing nobody did, as everyone was looking at Jason now on the center of the designated space for performing in front of them.

'Now that I think about it ... dance? Why dance? I've never heard in the novel that THAT Jason Han can dance!' She was a little shaken of her thoughts a little when she assumed based of Jason's personality, he wouldn't do some goofy stuff again, won't he?

1..2...3....START!

The music sounded off and it was a poppy music that's been going around for a quite a while now made from a famous boy band group.

She darted a glance at Jason and she saw him actually standing in an upright manner not like his everyday posture. And one more thing, he looked so serious and stood so firm, unlike his usual nature.

'Ohhh' Lia was actually amazed at him for the first time. By the looks of it now, he actually had an inkling air of a superstar around him. The only case was that it was overshadowed by his scaredy-cat and goofy character.

Jason, Lia and everyone in the room except Ms. Sasha was waiting for the beat to start, in order for Jason to actually start dancing and showing off the skills he got.

Tut, tut, tut.... And the vocalist's voice sounded off signaling the start of the dance.

....

'Bish, what? You kiddin' me?!'

Lia's mouth actually dropped a little at Jason's dancing, well if you could call that 'dancing'.

'He just look like a chicken flapping around.' Lia bowed her head in an unnoticeable manner as she covered her face with her hand. Her eyes were shut down as she doesn't how or what to feel at that exact moment.

Especially after she saw the other's face go from an expectant look to a grim or deadpanned or 'almost laughing' expression.

'No, Lia, you can do this. YOU of all people can't laugh too. Yeah, let's do this. He's our friend and artist, okay? We still have to befriend a future superstar.' She collected herself and gathered enough courage to look at Jason's 'dancing' again, this time with a straight face.

After a while of staring intently at his performance, Lia got into serious mode and actually inspected every dance move, she even had to calculate all the angles of his limbs to stop herself from deadpanning.

But after that, her head started to hurt and she decided to look at his face instead.

'Holy cow! Now I know why.' Unlike before, Lia now seriously focused her attention to Jason's facial expression.

Because he dances so badly, your attention is on his body and the dance moves that he performs. It keeps you distracted from looking up, which is in his face.

Although his body flaps in a weird manner, his facial expression was on the spot with the vocalist's voice and feelings relaying to the song.

If you just ignore his dance, you will find your attention all focused into his face and eyes.

In every note, there is almost this feeling twinkling in his eyes. And it's quite amazing to look at. Although there are some parts that was not achieved into the desire level of emotion, he still relayed every frown and every sharp glints in his eyes.

Before she knew it, the song already ended.

'Ah, as expected. Too bad, the song choice was a poppy and upbeat style. He could have chose a more melodic tone to have a wide variation of feelings.'

The other people seated in the same row however had different reactions. The man on the far left now has his eyes closed probably thinking it was a waste of energy on his eyelids to focus on Jason's performance.

The girl with the black hair and dainty air had a little frown on her face. The man seated beside her with curly hair had to stop himself from snickering. And the man beside Jason's seat had no expression.

While in Lia's case....she was too absorbed at Jason's performance just now that she didn't realize it was her turn.

She couldn't have known if she didn't feel the sudden air from Jason slumping unto his seat from nervousness.

'Oh shoot' Lia however being a 'professional' herself, didn't need to be called off to stand up.

She stood up and walked off to the center space, swallowing her 'slight' nervousness. That nervousness however wasn't shown in her face and instead a delicate smile replaced it.

She wasn't nervous because the four of them with Jason excluded was looking at her, nor was she anxious because of the instructor's stare. She was freakin' nervous because she didn't want to make a fool out of herself, okay?

She was quite conflicted too because she didn't want to be a coward and chicken out.

"So what's your name?" Sasha bowed her head and checked something at her clipboard.

"Hi, nice to meet all of you, Ms. Sasha. I'm Julia, Julia Campbell" Lia said out straight without any wavers or shaking from her voice.

"Hm, and what are you performing?" Sasha looked up and stared at Lia while fixing her glasses carefully. A light flashed through her eyes while examining Lia.

'Shoot, now what?'
